Appreciate the time you took to make this video. I have a 2012 Ultra Classic. I am a parts puller at best so electrical problems leave me lost. This was very educational!!!

Thanks for the clear and concise video.
Wouldn't this be a good tiime to check crank runout?
I'm not suggesting that is the issue as there was no sign of rotor or stator wear. But it would eliminate a variable for future reference. With the issue seeming to be reoccurring and the problem of crank runout on some years, it might give the customer some piece of mind to know he doesn't have a major defect in his pride and joy.
And I like to have as much documentation as I can get on anything mechanical I own.
I do understand that this is a customers bike and time is money.
Thanks again for an excellent video.

I didn’t put the dial on this one due to a couple of reasons. #1 there was no complaint of noise or vibration. #2 the crank seal was in great shape and not leaking (which is a major indicator) #3 there was no indication of wear on the rotor, stator, or inner primary. Thanks for watching and commenting.

btw, it's easy to reuse zip tie by picking the tongue (plastic pollution concern %)

That is true. But after cutting my fingers with my pocket knife trying to get them out too many times, I have opted to snipping them off. Ha

@@Lucky..B I think they are now called “cocktail” pipes. They have the narrow outlet on them, if I’m not mistaken.

they started out normal than they would come out like a trumpet then last 10 . 12 " bottom of pipe was straite top came up like fish tail but pipe is spilt no fish taile swoop at end straite . Its kinda like a trumpet that has flatten sides. With no swoop that a fish tail would Have . Easyest way I can explaing it .
