Hello im a new subscriber glad to know your father will be ok! I gave an 05 electra glide & i want to upgrade my bars also but i was told i needed the complete wire extension kit to do the upgrade?
Thank you for your subscription. A wiring extension depends on two main things. 1. The height of the new bars. 2. If you will be running the wires internally or externally.

Nope. In 2006 the street glide was the first year. It was a Willy G design based off the Electra glides but he wanted something that sat lower.
