Hi there, I'm having a similar issue with my NC, no significant parasitic draw but I've had 2 new batteries go flat in a matter of days. Did a new battery solve your issue or was it a more complex electrical issue? Many thanks!
A new battery solved the problem in this case. If two batteries have gone flat in quick succession, check the charging voltage with the engine running. It should be about 14.3 V. If not, have your alternator checked out.
You didn’t mention how you “reprogram” the car after disconnecting the earth cable. Ignition on, start engine, full left lock, full right lock, turn off ignition, then restart car.

Thanks for the info, although I'll be honest, I don't remember ever having to do that with this car.
