I mentioned some potential includes in the video but forgot to mention Mesmeric Orb. It's a $25 card atm but if you have one definitely run it! I try to upload at least 1 video a week so stay tuned for more MTG content, I've got more Oathbreaker and Commander stuff in the works :)
@@Weirdcardsorg Here's a suggestion to consider: "Leveler", a 5 colorless CMC 10/10 Artifact Creature that removes your library when it enters. Perfect set-up for Jace, Wielder of Mysteries.
Sooooo hyped for this format. Im tryin to build a deck for each individual planeswalker... (Online... I dont have that much money.) (And i mean 1 deck that has jace as commander not for all jaces.)
Nice! I also end up making a ton of decks (I have 11 commander decks atm) so I imagine I'll end up with a ton of Oathbreaker decks as well. I'm currently up to 4 with 2 additional decks brewing :)
After seeing the Chandra deck builder, I went out and digitally crafted a Freylise oathbreaker deck revolving around Gilt-Leaf Archdruid and ramp to get huge hydras out quickly, while swarming the field with druids and buffing them.
Oathbreaker is seeming like such a fun format so far. Currently I've been crafting an idea I had using Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God and The Elderspell, and so far it seems pretty gross.
Awesome video. My group and I tried the format for the first time yesterday and we were pleasantly surprised with how much fun it was. I have a Chandra, Flamecaller OB deck and it is an absolute blast. Awesome format.
I'm turning a w.i.p blue deck into an oathbreaker deck, it was going to be a self mill deck so you know what the planeswalker that will be heading the deck is. I'm also looking to build a mono red deck with Tibalt, Fiend Blooded as my -commander- oathbreaker
I have convinced a few edh players from my playgroup to give Oathbreaker format a try. Tiny Leaders and Pauper edh didn't catch on but fingers crossed.
What makes Oathbreaker so much more fun than those formats (I actually did like Tiny Leaders too) is that there are no weird deck construction restrictions (like cmc 3 or only commons) so you cna play with all of your sweet eternal/commander stuff
@@Bigbadbozoboy2 Lab Maniac for Jace, Dread Summons for Mind Grind, Drowned Secrets for Sphinx's Tutelage....not sure about new Ashiok and Mesmeric Orb yet.
I actually get that a lot haha These sleeves are new(ish) KMC Hyper Mats :) Maybe I should do a quick video about which sleeves I use (I like sleeves that are sturdy but also make your cards like nice too)
Nice. As always, milling/exile is one of the most ANNOYING things to do to a person. As for Ashiok, I think its a Cenobite. With the serial numbers filed off. Which means it identifies as an attack helicopter. I got a Sarkhan the Mad deck, and its mean on a budget. His signature spell is Vicious Rumors. $29 total, and I have only lost one time. Only problem I have is he's a 5 drop. Couldn't find a Tezzeret the Schemer in my area for my other deck, I only buy locally...you know, for reasons, haha.
@@Belphegor926 , sorry it took so long to get back to you, I had nonsense. But here's my list, I honestly think it only works as well as it does, is because I'm ridiculously aggressive with it. Had a bit of a time with a super aggressive Jace Cunning Castaway deck. Nothing like a mono blue unblockable team of asshats. A couple of non budget enhancements I am looking into is Contagion Clasp and Thoughtseize, I have them, but they are in other decks. tappedout.net/mtg-decks/the-mad-walker/?cb=1557152554
Simply put, because it's only a single target one-shot spell and that's not super great in a multiplayer format. I ended up cutting Dread Summons for the same reason for Sphinx's Tutelage. Prob pretty good for 1v1 though

Original table has lost SO many games to Mesmeric Orb.
What would you take out for it?

My whole LGS is embracing Oathbreaker because of your videos! Keep up the good work!
Thanks a ton! I'm really glad people dig these videos, Oathbreaker is a fantastic format
Keep making Oathbreaker videos and I'll keep watching them all.
Consider it done!

In my opinion mind funeral would be better than glimpse the unthinkable for the signature spell as mind funeral mills all players, but nice deck
Mind Funeral actually only targets a single opponent :/
You're right, I remembered the card wrong.@@RedZoneMTG
Super cool deck!
Thanks a lot!
cool deck man :)
Would you be willing to do a profile of Sarkan Fireblood? Or is Sarkan not your cup of tea?
I can dig a Sarkhan dragon themed deck! I'll add it the list!
@@RedZoneMTGSweet :)
The signature spell should be Sarkhan's Triumph
@@jonahcoffman3078 that's actually not a bad idea! XD
Although, I was thinking of either Dragonic Roar, or(if snow lands are legal) Skred.
I'm pretty sure Ashiok is a dude and that information came from the player's guide from the fat pack for Theros

Huh, I'd be interested in seeing your decklist for that. Sarkhan the Mad was always a neat Walker, imo, but no way to justify playing with it.
