📝 ABOUT THIS VIDEO
Last week, PreSonus dropped the new 6.2 update for Studio One, and this one came packed with a ton of small but very useful workflow improvements.
In this week's video, Ivan Calderon walks you through some of his favorite new features and shows you how to make the most out of them.

What was your favorite feature from this update!?
There is also a new native function available that let us use Create folder bus so it is now possible to make a macro for creating a folder than adding a bus to it. (even if there is already a good macro with personalized XML control) that let us do it also.
@@cefahprod Yup, macros are my favorite so I have a whole separate video coming for that!
I want to know if we can put min and max value in S1 automation?? I don't see that 🙏 help
Super clear presentation! Thank you 🙏
WOW ... great content, to the point, and super communications skills ... I learned a ton ... thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
Very helpful! Thanks, Ivan!
My pleasure!
Good guide and nicely brief!
Thanks for tuning in Gary!
Liking the auto zoom full assigned to a keyboard shortcut!
STOP @ end marker was a loooong time coming and my fave update.
it’s great, I don’t know what I’d do without it.
FINALLYYYYYYYY
Kool..
this video makes me want to get 6 and forget about 5 lol great job Ivan 👍
The fade selected range is a game changer esp coming from Logic.
There is post-pan metering now on every channel. That's a plus for me.
I'd upgrade to v6 immediately on launch if they included these 6.2 features instead of whatever came with 6.0
That's great.. I'm using midi keyboard for live with studio one.. but my cpu is cracking..please help me make instrument tracks without making cpu full..
Ivan ,great content, why don’t they add a floating transport bar?
Thank you! Not sure but been slowly adding user suggested features so we'll have to wait and see.
Search Bar in Macros window...Finally!(btw i'm still in 4.5 lmao)
Studio One is great.. However I wish they would upgrade Thier vst instruments to sound much better
I feel you. Everyone has been waiting for a VST update. Hopefully soon!
After using cracked fl for years then going to studio one it is a bit of a shit selection but after 5 years using studio one my vst collection is ridiculous that it no longer bothers me
😃 'Promosm'
Still no pan feature in piano roll for hi hat ?? Still no simple glide button 808? lacking a lot for producers, fl studio still my go to for making beats
fl can be a pain in the ass
This is going to sound weird but I think Studio One should slow down and make these updates more carefully, and cautiously. They're clearly inspired by and derivative of Cubase and Cubase is a huge mess. They have legacy features and clutter that has built-up over time. When you look at Cubase and it's easy to ask yourself, "What is this and why did they design it this way?" When I look at Studio One, they have the benefit of avoiding some of Cubase's design mistakes but... it appears as though they're still emulating much of it. It's a shame they aren't more bold with their user experience and interaction design. I don't see this working out well 10 years from now.
