Bro!!! You are the Best at explaining and teaching methods and concepts... trust me because I hate learning music theory. Thanks and continue your journey of helping us. Especially with Studio One!!!
Welcome back. You’ve been missed. Plz keep doing what ur doing u are such a blessing. My soul has been dying to manifest itself musically and you’ve helped me to unlock the knowledge necessary to do such. Thank you
Holy crap dude! You cannot fathom the amount of time I was looking for a creator on YT who eyplains workflows in S1 in such a easy yet usable manner! Thank you for your content, I will follow you on every platform from now on!!!
Hello Ivan, first thank you for what you give us, you toolbars and templates are already some essentials for me! Do you know how to create a macro able to add a new instrument track with a precise instrument already loaded on it (like adding instrument track with serum in one click) thank you my man 👌
Question -- do you have to quantize it? What if you like that neosoul/lo-fi back beat ridden beats? I feel like certain genres have music that falls slightly imperfectly on time .... but just curious if you 'd still recommend quantizing it for that too!
Cool video! I'm trying to learn more ways to be more efficient and this is exactly the type of stuff I'm looking for. Is this toolbar that you create a compatible with the new Studio One 7 Pro coming out? Also, do you have a macro to be able to strum as well? Great videos by the way. I've been watching a lot of your stuff over the years.
Yo Ivan, when I'm recording vocals, I have to turn off monitoring or I have a delay with the vocals. If I turn monitoring off, there's no delay but I end up with a quiet recording. Any idea why this is happening?
If your interface supports it, make sure to turn on its zero or low latency mode. That should help with latency. If it does not have that feature, I would increase the device block size. Studio One>Preferences>Audio Setup>Device Block Size. Experiment with different block sizes here to see what works best.
Hey Ivan. I have S1 v6.5 and i have the same issue with the notes not landing where they should. Never noticed that... that's sad that that was missed in the quality checking by the coders. It's these kinds of snafus that drive me crazy... and there's a LOT more of them than just this too btw. Presonus needs to step up their game man.
Yeah, I don't know what is going on, but I'm going to submit a support ticket. Usually, PreSonus is good about addressing these kinds of issues, so let's cross our fingers.
In my opinion, the problem with the major scale is that the tool you are using is apprently a graphical tool. So if the slope you are drawing does not really fit the scale, you may have this kind of glitch. I, of course, may be wrong. Did you post a request on the Presonus forum ?
if you are talking about making the piano roll area bigger you can just drag up from the top of that section, if you want the keys to be "thicker" you can hold ctrl+mouse scroll. Ctrl+Shift+Scroll will make the section longer width-wise too. this works in your main working area as well for zooming
I love that chord track feature! The only problem there is that although the chord track lets you create any chord, a beginner might not know what chords fall under what scale. The method/macros I showed here provide “guide rails,” so to speak, by letting you choose a scale and then populate all of its chords for you. It also helps you visually see the chords laid out in order, which can help with building progressions. Nonetheless, the tools are there, and Studio One makes it super easy to create music 🙌🏽
I'm glad you're back, Ivan. The world needs great teachers like you. 👍
Sam, thank you so much for your kind words and for tuning in to the channel!
Hey Ivan! Good to see you again. We missed you ❤
It's been a minute, but I'm excited to get back into things. Thank you for tuning in!

@@ImIvanCalderonHas this been fixed by any chance?
you should make a full course for beginners
I should. It would also be great if I released it next month.....👀
@@ImIvanCalderon that would really be love my guy.

How did expand the piano

@zcubedmusic nailed it! 👍🏽 For Mac users the CTRL equivalent is the command key.
Not Show My Piano Toolsbar
Ivan we need you to go and represent Studio One at the "Help Me Devvon" podcast bro please! 🙏🏻
As soon as he sends the invite I’m there 😄
You're a boss
Just use the chord track th-cam.com/video/wSFKyiF3gwo/w-d-xo.html
