McCULLOCH Chainsaws, Episode 1

Today I share my growing collection of McCulloch chainsaws and try to get one running. I've always thought the McCulloch's were neat old saws but had never owned one until recently, and now they are multiplying like Gremlins in a rain storm.

A little trick I came up with to help start these old saws that have been sitting a while, fill a squirt bottle with your 2-stroke mix and shoot it down the carb. That way you aren't running the cylinder dry and you won't pull your guts out. Good luck with those old Macs!

I don't know what it is about these McCulloch saws but I've always been intrigued with them. I'm really looking forward to getting a couple going and putting them back to work.

They are the hot rods of the chainsaw world if you don't know what a BP-1 is you should look it up McCulloch where definitely innovators. I've had a few over the years and I just decided to start collecting
