    So proud of you! I always donate to people like you who offer services for free and do not paywall. I have used your product since the first version and I was impressed then and now.
    I encourage everyone to donate even if you don't need the executable file.

      this comment sounds like it could be posted on millions of videos. like nothing about it convinces me that this person even watched this video or knows what the 'product' is. who the heck calls it 'the executable file'. you are definitely a bot.

      @@danwake4431Did you even watch the video? He says that you can get an executable file by donating. This guy is encouraging you to donate even if you don't need the executable file. You know, like he literally says in the video where he explicitly calls it an executable wrapper.

      @@danwake4431The tool in the video that he runs is a script and not a program. He offers this script 100% free for everyone, HOWEVER, this script is offered as an executable file as well for $10. They are both the exact same thing, the. exe file is just a shortcut that enters the free script for you and can be saved on the computer. This is essentially a way for him to get donations for the product from people who want to support the project.

    Microwin is so much easier than NTLite. I just used it yesterday to make a new Windows 11 iso for my Ventoy stick. I'd love a longer video on NTLite that kinda dives into it and shows us how to use it, what things to remove, and what things to leave in place, but there's a LOT of stuff in there, so I realize a video like that would take a while to make. The addition of Microwin to WinUtil is really convenient. Currently running my best install of Win11 because of it. Thanks for helping us make Windows suck less.

    • @ChrisTitusTech
      @ChrisTitusTech  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +45

      Yeah, one other thing I noticed is NTlite does sequential processing, where mine utilizes runspaces so it can do multiple processes at once. You'll notice the mounting, extracting, and cleanup is quite a bit faster than NTlite.
      I still love NTLite, but it isn't geared for normal users and wanted to make something that would be easy for everyone to use.

    You're Utility now need a services configurator.
    I like it to be part of MicroWin at least.
    This way, someone can use MicroWin to create an .Iso of Windows but with ALL services already reviewed and tweaked. (Disabled or Manual if needed.)
    This at the moment is really Great already , but i look for enhancements. 😁😁😀😀
    I want to create a Windows ISO that literally is trimmed from any non-essentials , services reviewed and Disabled ( For less process) , and unattented Microsoft Question already answered at installation.
    The last problem is Internet Connection...
    You need internet to reach the script , and at the second Windows detect internet , its start trying to update with Windows Update and install anything.
    I really like to be able to ShutDown Windows Updates BEFORE connecting the NET and using the script to prevent any change by Windows.

    1. Is it possible so that the Export feature doesn't only export the current selected tab, but instead exporting all selected options across all tabs? Is it possible to fix that issue so that you only have to export 1 time instead of multiple times?
    2. So far this tool does not seem to work with Windows 10 normally. When downloading the ISO from M$, it creates a Windows.iso file. When the tool creates the microwin folder you get an error stating "Winutil "install wim file doesn't exist in the image, are you sure you used Windows image??"" I have been able to get around it by tricking my browser and M$ into thinking I am on mobile to get the genuine ISO in which the MicroWin tool will then work.

      Sophia has a lot of options, but not the most user friendly and a layman can easily mess their system up with it.
      It is a great script, but you have to already have a good knowledge set of what each service does to use it properly.
      My tool is really geared for the everyday person. It has sensible settings that gets you in and out quickly. Both scripts are good, but different use cases.

    I used the tweaks on a newly issued work laptop. I suspect "set services to manual" set netlogon to manual, as the menu-item says. Could not login afterwards. Easy to fix though, but I wonder if you recommend using it on work laptops? Mine has a staggering 270 processes running (Windows 11).

    Has anyone had any issues with removing edge. In your experience what does it break?

    • @TigerGreene
      @TigerGreene 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I just found your comment. Not sure if you're still having trouble. YES - removing edge prevents some Windows updates from installing. It was actually about December, I believe - update KB5034441. It took me weeks of troubleshooting to figure out it was caused by me removing Edge completely and Microsoft requires it for some reason. Windows Update doesn't explain why the update failed, and certainly doesn't mention that you need Edge.
      This must be a new change to force Edge down peoples' throats, because I removed it a year ago and done dozens of updates without issue. Now I just leave Edge alone and block it in my firewall. If an update fails to install, that's the first thing I check; I allow access and then block it again after. Good luck.
