Thank you again Sean! I find your videos a good reference as I try to figure out how to use 6mm units with Team Yankee. Please continue your labors Sir!
Beautiful work...I'm looking to buy these models. Are they good quality miniatures? In the video they are too small to judge. Is this an old h&r range or a recent one?
Thank you for the kind words. I think they are pretty good quality, but that is a little subjective. I do have some close up photos on my blog that you can look at to judge for yourself. gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2017/03/cold-war-era-in-6mm-painting-russian.html I'm not sure if these are a newer or older range. I'm pretty sure I bought them sometime in 2016 if that makes a difference.
Thank you very much for the kind words. I just trimmed and primed some US infantry models last night. They will be on my paint table soon, but they do take some time to finish. It might be a few weeks before you see a video for them, but it is on the way.
I made them in a MS Word document. I just found a flag image on the internet and sized it appropriately, then typed out the unit names and printed them on label paper.
What a minutius and great job for this scale, very impressive!
Thanks.

I'm glad you find them useful.
Simple but effective breakdown, cheers for that. I do think you are missing out by not painting the wooden furniture on their weapons, though.
You are probably right about the wood on the guns. I'm not going back to add that at this point though. :)
Those came out great. I will have to get some model air colour for my 6mm.
Thanks!
I am starting to really like the model air color paints.
very nice work and also a fine presentation video, very inspiring, well done mate.
I'm glad you liked it.

Hello, very nice work, I'm waiting to receive my H&R soviets. Just a question, why did you paint red shoulders?
Where did you buy the metal bases?
I get them from www.wargameaccessories.com/.
Very nice and clean job with these, and they look very nice for 6 mm. Any chance to do this with US troops as well?
Thank you very much for the kind words.

Sean Gewecke hoping we see these at some point.
Where'd you get the stickers?
