- For Subaru, most of its cars can handle the rough and tumble of a trail or almost any lifestyle that you throw at it. One of the bigger crossovers in its lineup is the Subaru Outback, and in its 2024 year model with a 2.5-liter boxer engine paired with the brand's famed EyeSight technology, it's a car that could be worthwhile to the right type of buyer. Check it out on this episode of Behind the Wheel and get in touch with many of its features.

Hi! Love the video but just want to comment on the montage music volume. it's a bit loud from the transition. It's been going on for the past videos and I find myself adjusting my volume every time.
Same observation. The dialogue volume is too low so I tend to increase the volume on the TV then bam! music will start blaring out from speakers.
Agreed. It's a pain to have to adjust the volume every few minutes.
Love my Subaru Outback! Great car. AWD for all their models is a huge plus. One of the best cars I've owned. (2018 Subaru Outback). The only reason I'm driving a different brand now is because my company gave me the car. I'd go back to Subaru in heartbeat. It handles slippery roads like a champ.
Dang, production is on another level. Props to you guys!
Thanks for the review, I have one expected to arrive Sept 17th and this made me feel a little bit better.
Currently own a 2023 Outback limited XT (2.4L turbo), very happy with its performance. Here in Canada its available in turbocharged engine in addition our Outbacks got the updated front fascia. For a place that gets tons of snow the all wheel drive system is perfect and if you are someone who does occasional camping or off-roading like me then this is the vehicle for you! not to mention it even has better ground clearance than other SUVs
Just got a 24. Coming from a 22 Outback Premium. Love the Limited XT.
nice!! a question, if you mind: are the back seats flat fold?
Would love to see more reviews for Subaru cars
Have my Subaru XV for almost 5 years now, it’s the best
@@NR63917does it feel underpowered? Even if awd?
just right.
2.0 NA subaro forester from 2017 can outrun a 2.4 fortuner but not the 2.8 ltd.
pretty good for a 2.0 naturally aspirated.@@nicolastan5817
All New Evoltis please!!
@@nicolastan5817no.but this outback is greater
When will the BTW Review of the VB WRX come out? I want to see the antics Caco will dream up 😁
Caco's mic volume is kinda low compared to the music. but great review!
I bought one, you sold me on that Balikbayan features! No other brand features that! LOL
How many cameras have eyesight in this 2024?
So switch do you think is better or recommend? Outback or rav4?
a brand with no issues. Durability as it's best. Very premium and recommended.
Engines of Subaru are known to be very expensive to maintain and some of them are unreliable 😂
Ride Comfort, Safety, Handling, Performance (when driving in Sport-Sharp mode) is why you would buy a Subaru for.
Love my 2024 outback
Me too!!
Are we getting a Subaru Forester 2023 GT?
Review the Forester next please 🎉 Rooting for more Subie content 🙏🙏🥳🙌
Basically, I would buy a Subaru Outback because of its safety features and it’s an all around vehicle. Matibay ang subie!
Subarus are known to be very reliable. My 2nd car was a 2009 WRX, but the boxer engines are difficult to work with and often require thorough maintenence to keep the oil inside the engine.
spare parts are very expensive
And the fact that there aren't many Subaru dealerships in the country is also a con
In the US they're very popular especially outback and forrester with a bigger engines. In the PI they are very expensive to maintain spare parts wise.
Spare parts are expensive here too, and even the insurance is a bit higher.
I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing this.
Whenever Caco is speaking, the volume is soft that I have to turn it up. Now, when the music in between segments come in, the volume is turned up so much that it ruins the viewing experience.
Can we please have a specific volume level and stick with it?
me too
Same. Even in the past vids.
Oh yeah I definitely have noticed this. Something about the volume/balancing sounds so off that I have to have my remote ready to adjust the volume once Caco stops talking. Had this too in the other videos in the past.
#Truelly your all around vehicle,. Specially when your planning your vacation #Outdoors like going camping or just simple a mountain bike ride
With your family,.And with your friends this OUTBACK! REALLY HAS GOT YOUR BACK 😄
And yeah,.It is definitely lays on the mpv and on the SUV lines of cars because of how it looks also 👍😉👍
Wilderness trim please!
I'm very happy with mine, and absolutely works both city and outdoorsy driving! Just that its way back ordered, got mine after 8 months but all worth it! Wireless Android Auto isnt exactly wireless ( but Apple Car Play works perfectly) , Subaru has yet to fix it.
Damn 8 months 😮💨 wanted to get that outback also or the wrx sedan as it is almost the same price last yr but the queue on getting it was indefinite as the agent said that they needed to import it
How's the fuel consumption?
Could you review the chery tiggo 8 pro 2.0 awd?
Looks nice.
I'm torn with this all new Outback or the outgoing Forester 2023 with ₱200k cash discount
@2:43 Caco looks like a kid beside this car ahahaah
Love the EBTG references 😅
another one for the book ganda
is that Jack pants?
Did subaru got 7 seater with gateway
Kaya pala konti lang outback sa pinas. It caters to a very specific type of car user as well as there are many alternatives that are more practical. For that price, id rather a zenix even the hybrid variant is a lot cheaper.
Meron parin kayang Outback 3.6R-S?
Where is that place??
Nice
I love watching reviews of cars that i can't afford 😢
Same dude.... 😭
Crosstrek next
Gx3 pro please !
Bakit wala pading e-boxer sa pinas.. with that price id rather get a full size SUV like next gen everest 4x4 has the same tech as eyesight and have panoramic roof.. subaru fanatic at mayamang crossover x wagon lover target market nito..
Gotta love the Pinoy Richard Hammond
Sa may camping site sa may tagaytay haha
If money was no object I'd definitely get one 😵💫
Dont buy cars out of want. Buy one out of what really is needed. Cars are a dead end investment. Your better off buying investment grade gold which will be a sure winner for you and your family's foreseeable future.
@@euphegeniadoubtfire1364 I did not ask for unsolicited advice
It’s Ben Watt and Tracy Thorne! 😅
No off road driving review ☹️
That was lengthy!...but in a good way albeit...i just love SUBARO more.
"Longer, not taller!" Will say yes to that!!!
Finally bring Turbo back they lost a lot removing the turbo from their line up
2.4 L turbo engine is available in the United States
The lack of wireless charging for the phone is a huge minus.
🤩🤩🤩
Bring the 2.4L Turbo
Eeeeeyy it's Earl!
The old cross-country vehicle. ☺
If speaker JBL l waiting outback 2024
the back of outback its look like an old santa fe.,
Sir Caco, you really remind me of my late father. Keep being quirky and corny (sometimes) 🙏❤️
Dear Caco, pls share your driving routes so we can also follow your driving experience and make your reviews more relatable :)
Unnecessary
Exterior design of it looks really old now
Bakit ayaw nyu ipa download para e watch offline? Damot
nado-download naman po sa mobile. sa mga laptop or computer di po talaga pwede sa youtube (maliban lang kung gagamit ng ibang app)
This country sell more cars but very little car brand put factory in the philipines thats kind sad hahahahaha
Cargo space? Car no do that.
It's a crosswagon :D
Too bad the car is not available with a manual transmission 🪰
👌❣❣❣👌
first
definitely a wagon
Absolutely love my Turbo AWD Wagon.
Subaru cars, like that one, have evolved in the American market. That's why it's big. Unfortunately, it's still using the antique 2.5 L engine. You think Subaru 2.5 L, you immediately think, head gaskets. All wheel drive, marketed to places where it snows. Not terribly useful here.
Judging from your comment, you seem to have little knowledge to what all wheel drive is for Subaru. For one subaru's sAWD system is often active and changes from one bias to another. Another is the variable front and rear axle differentials on off road and rugged terrain or X MODE for short. These systems are merely not exclusive for snow, but rather helpful on the ruggedness of phil streets
@@ParisWie19 whatever you say
yeah AWD is mostly for snow, not very useful in pinas. although subaru's awd does have some pretty good off-road capabilities it's let down by the very poor approach angle (there's a big overhang in front). that's why i got a jimny instead of crosstrek
@@ParisWie19 haha awd won't help you in the "rugged" phil streets
@@rondg2 replying to someone who picked a 1.5 liter Jimny who's center of gravity's way over at the back over a 2L base XV with active awd system is the lowest thing i can do all day 😂
Digital auto start/stop? 🤮🤮
You are asians!
The whole screen thing is a total dealbreaker. Don't buy one of these without spending some time playing with it ... ITS. TERRIBLE.
NAPAKAINGAY ng PRENO ng SUBARU. very annoying car..napakalakas pa sa gas
Nice
