I’m in the market for an OBW and from the OFFROAD and other vehicles I’ve owned the CVT does have me scratching my head but at the same time it’s purpose is family camping and your general Greta outdoors trips so with that being said and also the X mode option for different terrain to help get over and around certain obstacles you can’t really go wrong with it. They also have a pretty good off road parts support so where improvements can be made for what you want to do it is financially possible.

The only feature the OBW has that I wish the Onyx had, is the full size spare. I also care nothing about the sunroof, that it does have.
I’m glad that you found the right trim level that covers basically everything you wanted! That’s the benefit to there being like 8 different trim levels of the Outback, lol. 🙂

@@sarge1231 In case you are interested, there are TH-cam videos that demonstrate how to modify the spare tire storage area to fit a full size wheel and tire as per the Wilderness trim. It's pretty easy, actually. However, it's not inexpensive to purchase the full size wheel/tire/pressure sensor combo.
@@jwix00 Not worth the expense, plus...it would require me to then do 5 wheel rotations. Even though the symmetrical AWD system in a Subaru is great, it does have one drawback. In order to keep it working properly, you must replace all 4 tires together, if you have 1 tire that is destroyed. If the other 3 tires are half worn, having 1 new tire can cause issues, from what I have read. All 4 tires need to be within 2/32 of tire depth of each other, and of the same tread pattern. Finding a used tire that meets the criteria is an option some mention, as well as having a new one shaved down. Running a new tire with the other significantly more worn tires can cause traction control issues, or even drive train wear. I hope that I never encounter the dreaded 1 tire failure issue. Those with the Wilderness model should incorporate the fifth tire into their rotations.
I clicked on this as fast as I could! I had been waiting on the CTW ever since the OBW was announced. Unfortunately, timing worked against me so I ended up getting a 2024 OBW because I needed a car and the CTW wasn't yet available. Now that they are, I'm contemplating switching to one. I realize the OBW bests the CTW in both HP and torque but would love to know how the CTW handles a "white-knuckle" situation like passing a semi on a two-lane highway. I'm also interested to know how the CTW climbs steep highway mountain grades and if it'll be able to maintain 75-80 MPH up those grades. I know the OBW can do those things with ease so I'm looking to find out if the CTW can adequately do them. You've already answered some of my questions in the past regarding this subject and I really appreciated it. I'm constantly scouring the Internet (forums, Reddit, YT, etc) trying to get owners' real world experiences. As more and more CTW's make it into people's hands, I hope to get some good information so I can make an informed decision. I really love my OBW but I just miss the size of the Crosstrek. Thanks for the video.
I’m so glad it could be helpful to you! Yes, definitely search the forums before making a big financial decision, and drive one before committing to one. It’s a very cool vehicle, but after having owned an OBW, in my opinion the CW doesn’t feel like as good of a value, even for a 20% lower base price. Best of luck in whatever you decide! 🙂
Your talking about 182 HP (naturally aspirated) compared to 260 HP Turbo. So assuming you're loaded with 3 people and gear, while passing a semi on a steep mountain interstate road, then the OBW will do it easy-peasy, while the CTW will really scream and have to work that much harder. And if you're talking taller mountains and impactful altitude, the turbo wins hands down as it won't be affected by the altitude the way the CTW would be. Also, keep in mind how much cargo space you'll need, as the OBW has more of it.
Absolutely bonkers that Subaru didn't think the Crosstrek Wilderness needed a front facing camera. With only 20 degrees of approach angle, I've already snapped some of my front plastic bumper clips on small trail impacts when approaching steep ditches and hills off-road. Front trail cam would've cost like $10 from their parts bin and made the Crosstrek truly deserving of its Wilderness badge.
I am a big fan of the Impreza/Crosstrek. I have an Impreza hatch, which has lower step in height for my wife, who cant step up easily into a crossover. As for the two cars tested, I actually think the Outback Wilderness is a better deal. The Crosstrek Wilderness is way to expensive; it can reach 35k with the moonroof/upgraded stereo, and you still get a mediocre engine. To me for a few thousand more, the Outback is worth it. The upgraded engine is the determining factor. For normal driving, the 2.5L is fine in the Crosstrek. However, the Wilderness models are marketed for camping/exploring off road, loaded up with lots of gear and probably in hilly, elevated terrain. In those circumstances, the turbo of the Outback is a huge plus. Ultimately, though it just comes down to whether you want a larger vehicle with more power and carrying capacity, or a smaller, more nimble vehicle for mainly congested city driving. Actually, IMO, the Wilderness package is kind of lame in either model. They should add some sort of clutch based rear locker if they are going to market them as "Wilderness" models.
I traded in a 16 year old Outback for a new 2024 Crosstrek because I actually wanted a smaller vehicle and I don't do that much off road anymore. 80% of the time I'm just zipping around town and it's perfect for that.
I own an Outback. Currently driving a loaner Crosstrek. I like the size of the Crosstrek for daily solo driving and better fuel economy... but i prefer the Outback in every other way. Interior quality, cargo space, smoother ride... Crosstrek is cheaper, which is nice. Depends on individual priorities. Both are great cars! But i can't wait to get my car back...
It's crazy how popular Subarus have become in just a few short years. It's also no coincidence how expensive they have become along with that popularity. I currently own a 2021 Outback Onyx with the turbo engine but the Crosstrek for ergonomics and economics works better in my favour. That said, trading in the Outback for the Crosstrek with some amenities similar to the Outback would put their pricing parity much too close.
I have a question… When Subaru redesigned the CrossTrex, how well does it hold up if it’s broadsided? The 22 and older models got a Poor rating on side impact. Are the new ones better? I was T-boned in a Toyota when I was only 21 years old. I was hit on the passenger side. When I got stopped I was up against my door, my passenger was against me and his door was against him. I had to learn how to walk again. It was a horrible accident. That was 37 years ago and at times I have to use my wheelchair to get around.
I doubt the third generation is much better than the last. From what I’ve heard the crash test systems have recently become more modernized and many vehicles don’t “score” as well as they use to under these new and more realistic simulated crash tests.
Man, I’m 36 and just finished doing my morning physical therapy. I hit a telephone pole at 80 when I was 17 and broke my legs in 11 places. That was 19 years ago and boy it still hurts

Thanks for the review! I'm figuring out if I should trade in my 2017 WRX STI 52,000 Miles that's something more practical for family and snowboarding. the crosstrek alone and price point makes it really attractive. I tried the outback it felt like a boat when parking haha
I traded in my 2019 STI originally for a 2022 OBW. I did not regret it. Especially as it was for our growing family. We had been making due with the STI, but as my son got older creative packing no longer led to enough room for all things (bikes, rock climbing gear, skis, paddle board, etc.). The size difference of moving up to the OBW takes some getting used to, but you'll surely miss the turbo in any other model. I also reused my winter STI 19" wheels (Niche Vosso ET30) and upgraded to 255/55r18 Toyo Open country AT3 tires which improve handling, off road ability, and look way better. I now have a 2024 OBW, and the harmon kardon upgrade along with wireless Android auto/car play makes all the difference. Just get the dealer to throw in the skid plates as a term of sale! I did. I also upgraded my springs all around to Ralitek 3/4" lift/overlad springs. They make the car handle soooo much better and allow for loading a ton of extra weight with no sag. I still miss rowing my own gears, but downshifting with the paddles is very useful and lowers the lament a bit. Also, putting the car into deep snow and mud will allow you to do awesome snow donuts and even break loose the rear tires on pavement from time to time (it's not just an off road mode). Good luck with your choice!
I agree with him that you’ll miss the power going from an STI to a non turbo. Also guys, I finally road in a heavily modified STI last week. Has a build closed deck IAG block and all that stuff to be like 500HP, holy cow, that’s a fun STI spinning all 4 lol. If you guys watched my Outback wilderness vs. my other friends supercharged C6, this STILL actually had a fast launch time and 0-30. 😛
I like all the specs that the outback has but at the same time I still love the Crosstrek. I just got my first one recently. I don't know. It's a very tough pick
I'm going to be getting a Crosstrek Wilderness soon. At some point, I'll likely buy a full size wheel and tire, and lock it down on a roof basket for road trips (yeah, it's gonna mess with my MPG, but oh well, better than trying to get back down a mountain with the donut). My only other gripe is the yellow accents on the roof rails. Pretty gaudy. I'm going to be blacking out the tow hook caps, but blacking out the yellow on the roof rails is gonna be a pain. I'm all about function over form, so the cladding doesn't bother me like it does a lot of people, but the accents do (which are purely for aesthetics and serve no actual purpose other than drawing attention). The roof rail accenting is super low priority for me though.
Unless you prefer the look of the Wilderness and need it to be ~10% more off road capable I don’t see the purpose to buying one over a Limited XT. I choose the Wilderness just because it appealed to me more, but its slightly increased functionality hasn’t ever been needed (yet). Best of luck in what you decide! 🙂
Thanks for the review. The OBW is too big for me and the CrossTrex is too small, but the Forester is the perfect size for me. If the redesigned Forester is offered with the RAV4 hybrid system, then we’ll wait for the 26 or 27 to get the bugs worked out and then sell my wife’s Outback and buy her the Forester Touring Hybrid, so she can drive it as her commuter car. After I bought my Forester Touring, my wife decided that she likes it more than her Outback. She too likes the size and the seating height. Her Outback currently has only 28K miles and my Forester has just under 13K miles. Both of our Subie’s are 2019 year models. I now drive only about 6K - 7K miles a year, so I’ll have my Forester, probably until I die. I know that we’ll be driving our 11 Ford Ranger XLT super cab 4WD until we die as it has only 36K miles. My sister and mom came up last month for a visit and my sister fell in love with my Forester. She told me that she’ll wait for the new Forester hybrid to come out and then buy one. They’re selling out of Southern California and moving to Kalisbell MT and she’ll need the AWD to get around in. Her finance is 6’-4” and he sits good on my Forester. He drives a F250 diesel 4WD. I personally don’t think I’ll ever get a Wilderness, as we have the pickup for our off road needs. IF I ever decide to sell my Forester, I’ll buy another Touring as I LOVE the Saddle Brown Leather interior. If Subaru would have offered the Limited Forester with Ivory leather interior, I would have bought it instead, but the limited only comes with boring, drab, depressing Black Leather.
Good to hear your leather is holding up well, heard about some people complaint of cracking. Had a 2012 mustang with terrible leather cracking, rips. My lincoln mkx leather is great thru 122,000 miles. We have been retired for six years and just recently got our first subie, a 24 crosstrek premium unexpectedly. My wife’s camaro was totaled in July when she was t-boned by another car. I am leaning towards a forester wilderness for the towing capacity? Had a terrible experience with our crosstrek subaru dealer.
I want to get a crosstrek or outback Wilderness for my next year adventure, it will be my dad and me, I am planning on shipping the car from Port Everglades in Florida to Cartagena Port in Colombia, and drive from Colombia to Argentina ( Col, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, and on the way back Arg, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Peru and Colombia, after a break I would love to ship it from Cartagena Port to Colon Port in Panama, and drive all the way back to Long Island NY, which car do you think will be better for this adventure, Crosstrek or Outback ?????
I think it sounds like a really fun trip! The Outback is basically just a larger and slightly nicer Crosstrek, but with the price premium. So it’s just personal preference if you want the bigger or smaller wagon! Best of luck!!
You could Google that. I would think some people have done it aftermarket. I know one ship engine swapped a turbo ascent engine into a Crosstrek. As much as I would love to see that, I’d imagine the price to do it reliably just isn’t worth it, unless that’s your dream vehicle. Just my 2 cents. 🙂
Imma keep ot straight up bc mamma aint raise a liar. I like to go fast and be an “asshole” on occasion but respectfully, so the crosstrek was a no brainer for me being much smaller and easier to maneuver especially when i go into chicago to visit family
like the Wilderness. However, the things I do not like is the Touch Screen and no Manual Transmission Option. Give me normal buttons that do not move and change like they do with a Touch Screen and give me a Manual Transmission Option.
I'm intrigued by exactly these two cars, but also the future EV outback rumored to come in for the 2025 model year. I'm 6'2" and need to tote skis very often, so I'm tempted to choose the outback. But I live in downtown Minneapolis, so the Crosstrek would make parking a real breeze and is so much cheaper. Very tempted by the outback turbo. I'll probably wait until the outback EV comes out and compare. EV Wilderness outback would be the dream.
Be cautious buying ANY brand's first run of a new model like the EV Outback will be. The 1st run is the one that will go thru the most safety recalls, as the gremlins are worked out. I recommend you test a Crosstrek, make sure it's large enough inside for you. And remember, sun/moonroof steals headroom. For a city car, the CT sounds up your alley, but if you load up with a lot of gear, as well as skis, the larger cargo of the OBW will suit those needs better. Also keep in mind, that the turbo makes long climbs up mountain highways a breeze, because the turbo isn't impaired by higher altitudes the same way a naturally aspirated engine can be.
I'd really love to see some real data as to what percentage of Wilderness trim Subaru owners actually put the 12% more offroad capabilty to use, and how many drive it like any other Subaru, and just got the Wilderness trim because it looks tougher. 🤔
Yeah, that would be interesting to know, lol! I fall in the 88% lol. I bought mine in 9/21 as one of the first OBW owners, and had it not been for the Wilderness trim level I would have likely considered an OB. I use mine just as a reliable daily, especially to go through the snow to get to my real job. And having a more capable vehicle is nice, especially when I’m out before the snow plows some mornings.
That’s a great question! I’ve not yet drive an Audi All-road or any other current generations, but making an Audi connection would be fun. Due to their poor or questionable German reliability I don’t drive them if they’re out of powertrain warranty. I once drove a friend’s Audi while in college and the engine failed while we were just casually going down the street. I’ve been hesitant to want to drive those, BMWs, Porsche, or VWs ever since then…. 😂
I would not want to be towing anything with a CVT. If you have to tow, get something else. That being said, I have a Crosstrek Onyx on order and it is due in January. It looks plenty durable enough for daily driver use.
unless that 40 degree grade is a sand dune it can climb... im not impressed... are we talking paved road? it should be able to climb at least a 50+ degree grade of paved with asphalt....
Lol. Just to let people know that their comments have been seen and that I appreciate them for adding their input, even if it may be off base. Liking comments doesn’t show that I’ve seen them. And my channel isn’t too big that I can’t keep up with most of the comments for now. 🤷♂️😜
When our Subie’s start leaking oil, we’ll fix that problem and sell it ASAP because soon we’ll have to replace ALL of the silicone “gaskets” with real gaskets in the engines. If Subaru would put normal gaskets in their engines from factory, then more people would buy them. No one wants to spend $1,500-$2K to put normal gaskets into their engines when their Subaru’s have 140K miles. But if you’re going to spend that amount of money, then it’ll last another 150K miles. If Subaru would put normal gaskets in their engines, then Toyota owners would flock to them. Likewise if Toyota would put Subaru’s Symmetrical AWD systems in their vehicles, I’d sell our Subie’s and go back to Toyota in a heartbeat.
wilderness is stupid, kneecapped performance and fuel economy, only a half inch higher, mostly because of bigger tires (which you could add to any trim) and hideously ugly on all models... Crosstrek Sport or Outback XT Touring for the win.
no the total wheel and tyre diameter is not bigger. it's a suspension lift with longer travel suspension. very surprised that your comment was hearted by the channel because it's wrong and he should know better
Lol, my neighbor use to have a Tribeca 😂. There’s also a really nice third gen Outback in the neighborhood, it looks brand new! I’m assuming it’s along the lines of those older generations the original post was referring to?
"So essentially they only make 140 horsepower equivalent if they were at sea level." They make 140 hp at your altitude. Period. No "equivalent" and no need to reference sea level, where they would make more. The Crosstrek makes 140 hp at your altitude. Simple.

Yes I’ve waited for this for awhile
I hope it doesn’t disappoint! 🙂
💯 👆
Very well said, I appreciate you sharing your perspective and disappointments with these vehicle trim levels! 🙂
I traded in a 16 year old Outback for a new 2024 Crosstrek because I actually wanted a smaller vehicle and I don't do that much off road anymore. 80% of the time I'm just zipping around town and it's perfect for that.
I’m glad you’re enjoying yours! I miss my old 19. 🙂
I get that! I overall really liked my 19 Crosstrek as it was a good car. But after having my OBW I wouldn’t want to go back. Thanks for watching! 🙂
Great review! Looking forward to the Forester review.
Thanks! I’ll make my 24 Forester Wilderness review public likely in the next few days. 🙂
I prefer the Crosstrek’s blue. Wish it had a heated steering wheel. What’s up with that?
Most cars do not have heated steering wheels. That's what's up with that.
Great review. Does the Outback Wilderness come in a non turbo version?
No, at least in the United States it only comes with the turbo engine. Thanks for watching! 🙂
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 I’ve read that too
Man, I’m 36 and just finished doing my morning physical therapy. I hit a telephone pole at 80 when I was 17 and broke my legs in 11 places. That was 19 years ago and boy it still hurts
@@celticsfaninthedesert4778 Sadly you’ll probably have pain the rest of your life and it’ll get worse as arthritis settles in.
I’m in my late 50s now and am having to live on Oxycodone and Morphine. It’s not fun, but I’m still above ground and any day above ground is a good day.
If you start getting depressed because of the pain you deal with, find a good therapist and also have your MD set you up at your local Pain Clinic.
I never wanted to go to a pain clinic, but I got to a point where my MD recommended me. I’m thankful that she pointed me in the right direction. My pain issues are treatable now and I have a lot more understanding of how to manage my pain.
My pain clinic Drs know that I’m not seeking drugs to “get high”, but rather I only take my pain medication when I absolutely need to take the edge off.
When you drop the back seats in the crosstrek, is there enough space to sleep in there? (Without sleeping diagonally)
Depends on your individual size and expectations I’m sure, but I’d personally much rather be in an Outback for that.
Thank you for making this video...trying to decide which one to pick is hard lol
You’re welcome! It’s definitely a tough decision because they’re both great options! 🙂
Very impressive reivew. Things I never would have thought about you covered so nicely!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Can you remove the door cladding on crosstrek? Or are there holes for clips to hold on the trim?
That’s a great question and I hope someone can answer it for you! I’m unsure how the cladding is attached…🙃
What's different in the Crosstrek Wilderness that gives it a 3,500-lb tow rating that the lower Crosstrek trims do not have? Thanks for the video!
The upgrades that it has, likely mostly due to the mildly upgraded CVT with the oil cooler. 🙂
More cooling, more body strengthening, higher capacity alternator.
Transmission cooler
@@MrPalamarek Thank you!
This is great information, thank you for sharing your experience! 🙂
I'm leaning towards the Subaru Outback
Test drive them both! But I know I sure enjoy my outback and have lots of recent videos about it. 🙂
Absolutely love this video 👍🏾
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
That’s exciting, it sounds like you have a great plan! Thanks for watching. 🙂
If it's all function over form, why do you care about the detail colors so much? Seems like you're over obsessing about the things that don't matter.
I wish they would make a wilderness sport on the crosstrek!!
There are a couple of “overland” OBW guys that can fit an aired down full size matching spare into the spare tire bucket lol
You are the Subaru expert, im thinking of the Outback limited xt in Canada for better gas milage over the wilderness which is better?
Unless you prefer the look of the Wilderness and need it to be ~10% more off road capable I don’t see the purpose to buying one over a Limited XT. I choose the Wilderness just because it appealed to me more, but its slightly increased functionality hasn’t ever been needed (yet). Best of luck in what you decide! 🙂
thanks or should i go top of the line called premier up here.. @@AutomotiveAnonymous208
Outback. No contest.
Comfort aside, while the Outback Wilderness has a turbo, the Crosstrek Wilderness has a better transmission and crawl ratio.
They each have their pros and cons! 🙂
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 Absolutely
Is there a quality turbo kit that can be added to the Crosstrek, to get better power ?
You could Google that. I would think some people have done it aftermarket. I know one ship engine swapped a turbo ascent engine into a Crosstrek. As much as I would love to see that, I’d imagine the price to do it reliably just isn’t worth it, unless that’s your dream vehicle. Just my 2 cents. 🙂
Outback for sure
Imma keep ot straight up bc mamma aint raise a liar. I like to go fast and be an “asshole” on occasion but respectfully, so the crosstrek was a no brainer for me being much smaller and easier to maneuver especially when i go into chicago to visit family
like the Wilderness. However, the things I do not like is the Touch Screen and no Manual Transmission Option. Give me normal buttons that do not move and change like they do with a Touch Screen and give me a Manual Transmission Option.
A manual transmission would be so awesome on this car!
No charging stations in the country. Just not realistic, I think.
Well done !!
I might convert to a Subaru if they come out with a Crosstrek Wilderness XT version. 0-60 in ten seconds is ridiculously slow 🐌
Hmmm I would like to known how this OBW compares to the 2024 audi quattro ?
That’s a great question! I’ve not yet drive an Audi All-road or any other current generations, but making an Audi connection would be fun. Due to their poor or questionable German reliability I don’t drive them if they’re out of powertrain warranty. I once drove a friend’s Audi while in college and the engine failed while we were just casually going down the street. I’ve been hesitant to want to drive those, BMWs, Porsche, or VWs ever since then…. 😂
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 I wonder if the Quattro All wheel drive would stand up to a Colorado winter or if the Subaru is the better bet.
How do u get the lights to flash like that
It’s just how the camera pics it up! 😅
Ummm actually the crosstrek wilderness only has front heated seats
I really want a manual transmission in the outback.
That would be awesome! But after driving a few of the new 6 speed WRXs I know MPG would suffer over what the CVT can deliver lol.
Crazy seeing this video when I live in the same town it was filmed 🤣 was like that area looks familiar then you said twin falls Subaru
Lol, that’s awesome! 🤩
👍🏻👍🏻
At 9200ft I think the choice has to be turbo!
Yeah, I can’t even imagine what the DA is on a hot day at that elevation lol.
I would not want to be towing anything with a CVT. If you have to tow, get something else.
That being said, I have a Crosstrek Onyx on order and it is due in January. It looks plenty durable enough for daily driver use.
You must be in Canada if it’s trim level is the Onyx! Very cool, I hope you love it! 🙂
Are we going to ignore him saying outback “cargo space is 75 feet so you can car camp” hahah it’s a semi incognito
Haha 😂
unless that 40 degree grade is a sand dune it can climb... im not impressed... are we talking paved road? it should be able to climb at least a 50+ degree grade of paved with asphalt....
Terrible fuel economy 😢
Menu system infuriating 🤬
Love the Microsoft Windows background 🌎
I find the outbacks are ugly as hell ,I have the crosstrek. it looks sporty ,elegant in my opinion
The outback looks like it was designed first than forced to have last made minute changes. Crosstrek looks complete.
Give me a manual, AWD, 300hp + that isn't a wrx.
Nardwuar is that you?!?
Haha, not sure who that is.
@AutomotiveAnonymous208 you do sound just like him haha. It's a compliment. Nardwuar the human serviette!
Why do you ❤comments that I would assume you know are technically wrong and you ought to know are wrong. This damages your credibility significantly
Lol. Just to let people know that their comments have been seen and that I appreciate them for adding their input, even if it may be off base. Liking comments doesn’t show that I’ve seen them. And my channel isn’t too big that I can’t keep up with most of the comments for now. 🤷♂️😜
😂 I hope you find the comment I was referring to (it's at the top with one reply from me)
When our Subie’s start leaking oil, we’ll fix that problem and sell it ASAP because soon we’ll have to replace ALL of the silicone “gaskets” with real gaskets in the engines.
I agree! Toyota with Symmetrical AWD would be awesome.
Too much plastic on them especcially this crosstrek
My god man buy a better microphone.
😅
geezer blue or geyser blue?? wtf? hahaha.... its geyser, not geezer...
😛
wilderness is stupid, kneecapped performance and fuel economy, only a half inch higher, mostly because of bigger tires (which you could add to any trim) and hideously ugly on all models... Crosstrek Sport or Outback XT Touring for the win.
no the total wheel and tyre diameter is not bigger. it's a suspension lift with longer travel suspension.
very surprised that your comment was hearted by the channel because it's wrong and he should know better
So ugly. No thanks. I remember when the Impreza and Outback looked good. Now they look like an absolute disaster.
They definitely don’t look like they use to, lol.
I think they all look good. I remember when Subarus looked like they sucked a lemon. The Tribeca era. Ugly line they had then.
Lol, my neighbor use to have a Tribeca 😂. There’s also a really nice third gen Outback in the neighborhood, it looks brand new! I’m assuming it’s along the lines of those older generations the original post was referring to?
Looks like crap quite honestly
Still looks like Grandma’s car
"So essentially they only make 140 horsepower equivalent if they were at sea level."
They make 140 hp at your altitude. Period. No "equivalent" and no need to reference sea level, where they would make more. The Crosstrek makes 140 hp at your altitude. Simple.
Ummm actually the crosstrek wilderness only has front heated seats
