After my TU250X sportbike video, I realized I never showed the beginner bike. In this video, I give a quick review and talk about basic modifications for appearance and horsepower. None of the modifications hurt reliability.
The Suzuki TU250X is an excellent motorcycle for all experience levels. My TUX gets more looks and comments than any of the other motorcycles I own.
This motorcycle is not underpowered.

I love my TUX Ive taken a 1400 mile round trip on it without a problem, even on the 4 lanes. I just recently put duel sport tires on it and it works like a charm off road.
Aside from your workout try eating only between 12 noon and 6/7 pm. all the water and coffee you want otherwise. melted it off me....
Which tires did you use? I still have the original. Thanks for the tip on eating.
@@MantisRacing Shinko 244's i think they are 3.50 and 4.10 ill look when i go out to the garage and repost if im wrong. The front fender works but is to low for mud. needs to be raised about an inch.

I've got the same one. What dual sport tires did you get for it? Brand? Did you replace the tires yourself?
@@estebanserrano1303 They are Shinkos 244s. Front 3.50 and rear 4.60 only about $30 if you remove the wheels yourself. I had to raise the front fender about an inch. I shaped a small rectangle, drilled and painted it black. You cant even tell they are there except for the more agressive look.
tu250x 2018 they put the snorkel looking upside. There is engraving on the cover it says to put it on the upside. wierd the 2012 is on the downside. Sorry for bad english.
I might have shown it wrong. I just placed it where the screws lined up. I would think down would be better because of water dripping, but I don't know the actual direction anymore. Thanls for the comment!
You said that you removed the snorkel to "let it breathe better". I'm not mechanically inclined - but what does letting the bike breathe better actually *do* ? Does it increase performance, or speed or something somehow? I'm just not clear on what it actually accomplishes. Thanks for the video!
Allows more air into the engine so it makes a “little” more power. If you’re satisfied with the bike right now. Don’t bother.
@@MantisRacing Thanks for letting me know! I'm extremely happy with my bike tbh. Getting up around 100 km/h is a bit dodgy tho, especially on a windy day. Lol. I think the only mod I'd like to do is take the passenger seat off for now.

I've got the fast red one. Does 75 easy. Had it up to 90 a few times.
90 is quick for a TU250X
I just bought one as a learner bike. Got it up to 50 mph yesterday. Felt like it was really flying 😂
