DCS:A-10C Warthog - Sturmovik Campaign Mission 07: Dangerous Neighbours (Trimmed Walkthrough)

This campaign revolves around two A-10C stolen by the Russians, and is used for testing, evaluation, and later in combat. Originally made for Russian local language, but is subtitled for English. This is a trimmed playthrough, and will only show key events, mission dialogues, aircraft systems setups, and particular tasks for the missions.
We're back in action again in this mission. A Special Forces camp was located north of the border, which threatened the upcoming counteroffensive operation. Our job is to perform an interdiction mission to destroy all enemy helicopters, vehicles, and infantry (excluding the helipad, it is indestructible). The few IR SAM threats in the area were spotted and eliminated early, and with a couple of attack runs the camp was out of action. However as we RTB'd Sukhumi came under attack by two flights of Georgian/Turkish F-16s, and was told to hold at the waypoint. I didn't and as friendly fighters and SAMs engaged the F-16s I sneaked behind one and shot it down [18:25]. F/A-10C ftw!
Some tips for this mission:
- Use AGM-65s at standoff range against SAM threats
- Drop the Mk84s early; those are damn heavy!
- CCIP not accurate in high-elevation terrain
- Maintain decent altitude/speed to help perform re-attacks
- Gain speed before engaging enemy fighters
