I dont know how anyone could be unsure about him. He's been in a million things as an actor and voice actor, and of course he was on SNL for so long. (And really is one of the greatest they've ever had.) He is absolutely brilliant in everything he does and im happy people are giving him the attention he deserves. Also, nobody in this world could have played a better Richie Tozier. Barry might just be the best thing he has ever done though. Im obsessed with it and him.

This show is genuinely one of the best shows I watched like ever, the way it balances its comedic and dark tones is pretty amazing, the ronny/lily episode is of the single best episodes of television I've ever seen.

This is so true. Henry Winkler kills his character, all the acting class people are minor but still are interesting. I mean hell, Marybeck had hardly any lines or scenes and he became such an interesting character that as this guy said, you truly wish the best for. Mayrbeck Is being trained to be an assassin for a mob that is selling drugs, stealing etc. but you truly wish the best for him and are hyped asf when he takes the reigns during bbq bus.

I wish more shows would use a half hour length it makes binging so much easier
binging is just as easy, but it just takes longer, which is better imo because i get to experience more of the story, like take for example breaking bad.
breaking bad is one of my favorite shows of all time, it’s absolutely genius. and it’s slow pacing is intentional, and makes the show what it is.
it makes the show more tense, as it builds up and up, slowly, and you wait for the payoff, as it gets closer and closer, and when it gets to that crazy show, it does not pull its punches, that show fucks shit up(in the good way).
you can’t do that with half hour episodes, you need more time to develop the characters.
Some shows work that way, and some would not. I think some are meant to be consumed week after week.
Jeremy Hopkins yeah, i agree, some shows do work better in a shorter format, such as “the end of the f***ing world” each episode is like 20 minutes but it feels like 45 minutes

I hate the notion that shows have to be 45 mins to an hour to "fit everything in" when shows like Barry and Bojack convey everything just fine in half an hour

Barry is probably the best show i have seen in a while. clever writing, directing, acting. it has the perfect balance between dramatic and comedic. the characters are so fleshed out that even if u don’t like one of them, there is always one point in the show where you can feel for them even if it’s just for a second. and also the premise alone is so bizarre that it’s brilliant

Anthony Carrigan's Hank is one of the funniest characters ever!!
I love that they just had a rabid semi-feral warrior girl who comes out of nowhere and goes back to nowhere for seemingly no reason, and that it somehow works so well. That's genius, and it's just 1 tiny part of the show.
Just finished season 1, and the characters feel so real, alive, and brutally honest.

Barry is genuinely my favorite TV show out there. Every shot is framed so perfectly, whether it be comedic, dramatic or action. It isn't just hilarious but genuinely compelling and makes me WANT to watch more ever episode.
I enjoyed the finale even more than ronny/lily
Last two episodes were amazing!
I'll always love the show since the "This arm is bullshit" line.

I have been watching Barry from day 1. Bill Hader is the best, Henry Winkler is the nicest dude ever and the show is full of great underrated actors! Love this show so much and glad you made a video about it.
It's like you went into my brain and my heart and put all my thoughts and feelings in to one (really well edited) video. Barry is the best and I'm so glad it's getting the hype it deserves!
I’ve watched every episode of Barry already and JUST NOW realized the episodes are 30 minutes long. I totally thought it was an hour. They fit so much of the story into their time in a way that I haven’t seen since Breaking Bad.

Watching season 3 I was surprised how much I could still relate to Barry, who by now is certainly a sociopath. I think it has something to do with the jarringly observant direction, which 1) makes the action way funnier, 2) puts us into Barry's emotionally distant headspace, even while all hell break loose.
after watching the very first episode of Barry I was obsessed!!!! this is a great and concise video that outlines every great aspect of this show :)
Finally I can convince people to watch Barry other than by saying, "Trust me. You'll like it." There aren't enough videos about Barry so thanks for making this!

This is one of the best shows out there and the sound design wasn’t talked about but it is amazing. I’m working on my degree in audio technology so I noticed how well done this show is in every aspect. It’s is truly incredible. Must watch for sure!!

This is on point! This is exactly what I've been saying since this show started. No one else balances genres the way Barry does. Bill Hader is brilliant in both his acting and writing in Barry. It has quickly become one of my fav shows. This is soo true, the characters, the story, the cold opens. All are so great and so key in why this is such an addictive show.
