      Yes, I don't understand it either why to use a 10 second empty loop!

    • @JakeSoffer
      @JakeSoffer 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@creapis It allows you to record overdubs continuously. When the silence is longer, perhaps 10 seconds or more, you give yourself more time to record individual drones on top of each other. You don’t *need* to start with an empty silent loop, as the same result can be achieved by starting with a drone or chord, but the silence serves as a nice sort of empty palette for your drones. It often sounds neater too. Hope this helps!

You are a talented player with great feeling and sensitivity. I LOVE ambience. There are so many variables out there its madly confusing, but you have slowed us ALL down by offering a highly effective, simple set up. Would you prefer the Zcat to the Boss VR6? Great Perry.
    when you say with "a single ambient sound" what is it exactly?

    • @PerryFrank
      @PerryFrank  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, it means that when you put the reverb after the looper in this way: guitar - looper - reverb - amps, the loop is precessed thru the reverb and you get only one ambience sound for all the loops you record. When you connect the looper after the reverb in this way: guitar - reverb - looper - amps you can change the ambience for each sound you record. So, you can record a loop with a short reverb then another one with a great ambience for example. Ok?

In the sense that if you use input A and B coming from a stereo panned delay the repeats in input A will come out only in output A, and the repeats in input B will come only output B?
