I LOVE OneRepublic! Ryan Tedder’s singing skills are amazing- 4.5 octaves! He also has written some of the biggest songs for other artists (Beyone, Jonas Bros, etc). More 1R please! They are only band I have traveled out of state to see. They helped me fulfill a 30+ yr bucket list item - a concert at Red Rocks and it was perfect!!! Look up Ryan’s discography! He sold his song catalog last year for over $200M!

Great song and great group. Video has a lot of metaphors in it. Kids power is break dancing. More powerful when his friends stand by him and stand up for him. Song itself is about always being there for someone no matter what. Would they rescue you from whatever life brings forth? Can you depend on them to always being there for you. The video is just his friends coming to his aid. He is stronger with their help. Together they conquer the bullies. Some videos don't have a set theme but use symbols (metaphors) throughout instead. Ratings should be based on the music and lyrics without video. Keep separate categories. Otherwise great reaction and channel! Keep em coming! One republic has very large discography but newest ones are West Coast, someday, better days, wanted, didn't I and recent collab with Gryffin called you were loved.. Great band live also just did concert in Malibu online which was awesome. Check em out

did no one wonder that the last bully was the singer itself trying to bully his own younger self, and in the end he takes his mask which means he will bully his younger self when he grows up, which could mean that he doesnt like how his life turned out or something, again just a thought.

I agree with you. I mean the song is fun and catchy and I love to listen to it while I’m cleaning or just chilling. But it doesn’t really have content. Their old music used to be a lot better. The first 3 albums were amazing in lyrics and concept in general. Then they started doing songs like these which is ok, not amazing but it’s ok.
I agree that the music doesn't match the video. But I have to disagree about the lyrics. Listen again without the distraction of the video. I personally don't watch videos. I do live performances and lyric videos. Keep the onerepublic going should have started with counting stars, to see the evolution of Ryan Tedder.
Counting stars I am already familiar with, so that is why I haven't done that one. But I will definitely go back and listen again without the distraction of the music video
@@SuffiReax thank you it just reminds me of the selena song you did "it ain't me" the video is so distracting that I, myself couldn't understand or comprehend the lyrics. With the exception of a few, music videos are becoming small movies that don't convey the message at all.
