They constantly introduce new characters to the audience, then they let them die and you dont give a fuck about it, because you have no affection to them. Season 1-5 was primesteak after that its just reheated tv dinner trash , in comparison. The makers try something new( thematicly), the new concept is in its roots interesting, but the execution is mediocre.
Negan was so well written Imo the only character to genuinely make me feel so on edge and fearful, but still see him as dark and funny the theme reflects him and the feeling of fear so well
You guys forgot about Beta? XD I think Jesus and Mercer are the only ones (in my opinion) who can give Beta a fight. Daryl won his fight by a surprise attack

Gives the perfect tense feel that his intro scene put on so well. It's dark, quiet, and ominous. Like something that you'd hear during a thriller type movie when the murderer is hiding the body
I really like when certain instruments and music styles are tied to certain characters. It's nice because when you listen in the creator might leave in a music cue for something. Saviors and Negan have their bike gang style guitar riffs :D
Bro when they used this piece on the line up it made me so nervous along with knowing the fact that one of our loved characters were going to die. This made me feel like I was going to accept my fate and prepare to say goodbye to one of the group members. The music played a part in giving you a massive chill, they did great on this since it fit so will with the line up scene

Quietly playing in the background because that is partly who he is, a leader who don't take crap from anybody. I think it showed his battle between him trying to keep his new friends alive and him losing himself to his anger.
God damn they did such a great job. Bear McCreary litterally never disappoints. The governor theme song is amazing, negan's theme song is amazing, the whisperer theme song is amazing, the intro theme is amazing, god, McCreary is a legend!
it's been a while since i've seen the lineup but if this didn't play during it i mean negan was literally the final boss with the most fucking badass cutscene and was still perfect as a playable character
