I didn’t know that that’s what dragged me in so much when I first watched it, but now I’m seeing how much I still have in common with my 13-14 year old self, and how little but how much everything changed. Well, no shit. Another person is another vector. A bleeding, adrenaline-fueled monster that'll beat your head in, mate. To survive *that* you go straight monastic, isolated fortress and all.
Yes. I remember watching this at a young age alone in the evening. It was actually a school day and the following day I needed to go to school. My mother was telling me to go to sleep. After this, my life just warped but I remember how this movie left a mark on me and I watched then years later. I also think this way, how different was years back and whether I am the same person or another person, whether those memories were true or not.

ngl imagining that shit with this song blasting in your ear and thinking " if i look back, there is 50 zombies behind me running the exact same speed as me , i can't stop " is fucking terrifying.
This reminds me of the final campaign mission of Halo: Reach. It has that bleak, solem vibe the mission has with the only objective being "survive" as Noble Six decides to make his last stand against the onslaught of The Covenant before eventually being overwhelmed but if he's going down,he'll go down fighting and take as many of them as he can with him.
I love halo reach but that game has a sad but badass ending. This song leaves no room for hope. No super soldier fighting to death vibes here, just the inevitable gruesome death by rage induced zombies.
Don't be scared when being alone, be scared when you're not being alone. Don't be scared of monsters, demons, angels, ghosts; Be scared of suspicious people, humans, or even yourself
this song is such a good mix, the tension, the rising, you can really feel it. this is incredible. the crashing of all the instruments at a time after a build up just sounds so damn good.

I wouldn’t go that far, to be honest. So, your saying that people can’t help each other out, when there is an apocalypse? It’s a possibility, you know?
@@AdamRee-lx8uh I think thats exactly what their saying. Look around the world today. Even right now we lack the ability to help each other, so what makes you think most people would even think about helping people during a zombie apocalypse. @@comprehensivefailure3886 and an apocalypse where a single zombie is arguably more than capable of taking down a human through sheer rage and adrenaline

I haven't seen this movie in years, bumped into this music and damn, I'd forgotten how good it was.. The music makes you want to RUN, RUN, and keep RUNNING, from the horror that is trying to break into your house, perfect encapsulation of horror, I don't know who the composer was but BRAVO!
Besides H1N1 I don't think in this modern age had we had to deal with such an infectious and extremely scary disease. It's terrifying for the people who are bringing children into this world at this moment 💔
Its inverted first we went crazy then the virus hit us while we were in a state of mass confusion. Our enemies will pose as our saviours and enact their plan for complete domination. Fight now or die later.
I think we're all forgetting about 1962 and that as well. I mean, living in the UK, if the nukes had started flying, you'd receive absolutely no warning as the flight time was 2-5 minutes fir cruise missiles. So just imagine living with the knowledge your life could end at any moment, for circumstances beyond your control, rather than this where people can take precautions.

Millennia?
This reminds me of the final campaign mission of Halo: Reach. It has that bleak, solem vibe the mission has with the only objective being "survive" as Noble Six decides to make his last stand against the onslaught of The Covenant before eventually being overwhelmed but if he's going down,he'll go down fighting and take as many of them as he can with him.
Gives me the same vibe too
Yes 💯% yes!
i love this one
I love halo reach but that game has a sad but badass ending. This song leaves no room for hope. No super soldier fighting to death vibes here, just the inevitable gruesome death by rage induced zombies.
Bro me and my buddy used to play halo reach and put this song on if we were the last men standing in infection lol goood times
"They thought a general lockdown of 40 days would help fight the pandemic."

this song is such a good mix, the tension, the rising, you can really feel it. this is incredible. the crashing of all the instruments at a time after a build up just sounds so damn good.
Isn't it ironic? The composer's name is John Murphy...

@Etcetera Jesus fucking Christ, what if you eventually spark the mind of the man who will create the zombie virus?
Dude, the butterfly effect is real. Don't contribute to it, oh shit
@Etcetera True, are you prepared for the apocalipse, bro?
To add to that, the main character's actor's name in the movie this song was featured in is Cllian Murphy.
It's actually anything that can happen, will happen but it's close enough I guess.

Don't know why whenever I hear this song, i feel an another level of energy inside me....
that would be your fight or flight instinct
I would recommend flight if I'm being honest
Because music.. is palpable magic. :-)
Its telling you to run
Nah it's telling me to fight to be the one who's scaring people instead of getting scared it's telling me that i should fight back it's telling me heh that whatever anyone says they know i don't care cause in the end I'll always be better than them
To the people saying to run and hide and stay quiet, nah. Be the fear, make them run, make them hide, make them know what they did.

But everyone would want to forget about it.

I think we're all forgetting about 1962 and that as well. So just imagine living with the knowledge your life could end at any moment, for circumstances beyond your control, rather than this where people can take precautions.
