Written by Steven Moffat and starring Pearl Mackie as Bill Potts and Matt Lucas as Nardole, this video was home-produced remotely during the 'lockdown' period of the COVID-19 outbreak in June 2020.

13 is totally the girl in the mask. bill saying she'd recognize the doctor if she saw him again with a new face feels similar to 12 saying he'd know if he met clara again despite not remembering her. feels like a call back so i reckon thats what stephan is hinting at. regardless i love these lockdown shorts. its been really nice to explore the doctor who universe and its characters in a way we haven't in a while.
Now we really need to see it as a full story 13 Is trying to get Bill's help but bill thinks 13 is a girl trying to date her
@David Blythpretty sure shes talking about someone wearing a mask due to carona. she talks about people keeping their distance later so thats likely what she means when she mentions only being able to see the top half of her face. if she was a muslim she would literally only be able to see the eyes and area of skin around the eyes but the fact she says something along the lines of "bottom of her face is probably good looking too" implies she can see the full top of her face but not the botom. she wouldn't be able to see the full top of the face if it was a muslim hence shes talking about a carono mask.

I hope these side stories continue after lockdown... they're an excellent idea! And to me, it wets my appetite as we're awaiting for the new series to come out.

I don’t know how, but this just hits so hard, watching this brings back so many memories. Again, how is that possible to feel so many emotions just in 5 minutes: the joy, the pain, the happiness, that nostalgic vibes we had been getting during this whole DW Lockdown - all of these brought together in this short clip. I love Moffat so much for his writing it’s so special I can’t. Thank you so much for this. All of you, especially Emily and the fans, who made this possible!
I suppose this is probably the last bit of music Murray Gold will ever compose for Doctor Who - I'll really miss him! Amazing performances, amazing writing, and a powerful message.

@@jordanvalentine7114 Ah I didn't realise! Hopefully the S10 soundtrack will be out one day, as it's fantastic music.
Some of it is reused from S10 (first track is new!), but all of it has been done for this by Gold - so all things considered, this is (for now) his last work for Who!
The music from the ending is actually ninth doctor theme!
Head canon - The Girl with the nice eyes that Bill fancies is Thirteen checking in on her during these hard times.
And if things don't go differently, this really is Moffat's final writing for the Doctor Who universe. Thanks for the return, Steven. Much appreciate it. We will miss you...again.
Never say never again. We didn't think we'd see Davies ever return to the show, yet here we are.

The first thing I ever said after watching The Woman who fell to Earth was; "I miss Bill and Nardole". Series 10 was the first Modern Doctor Who season that I actually ever had truly fun with, mostly because I was speculating as to how Capaldi would regenerate, but the chemistry between Matt and Pearl was great.
I feel the same way, it felt ecstatic watching the whole series.
Series 11 could have benefitted from having such well-defined companion characters, as well. Bill especially would have been so fun to watch and easier to write for than the blank slates that Ryan and Yaz kinda still are after 2 series.
I thought the Monk trilogy was somewhat crappy but everything else in Series 10 was great.
I thought quite a lot of the one off episodes werent great and the ending of the monk trilogy was really shit (including the stuff with the vault) but i really do miss that era and Bill and Nardole, they are really underrated companions. I honestly think Doctor Who could have ended with season 10 and i would be happy with it. The season finale is one of the best ever and would have been 100x more amazing had BBC not spoiled the surprise of the mondasian cybermen and the multi master story. Season 10 looking back is actually pretty solid.

Oh my god please bring Bill back she’s SO GOOD. But in general...there was something really special about this particular Tardis Team. Frankly what DWL has done for me is make me want a multi-companion story. Maybe even a doctor-lite one. But goddamn do I wanna see Bill and 13. Even with the often sub-par writing 13 is straddled with I feel like there would be such a magnetic feeling to every scene they had together.
We need her to come back and the first thing she does is KISS THE DOCTOR.

Basically, in the episode there are 6 sections rather than 8 and they are separated by indented sections (this is where the windows are) rather than raised, and there are no fins on the back.
The music in this by Murray Gold is beautiful and this whole thing felt like a close to what we’ve had for the Moffat era but we a door to return!

At first I wasn’t sure about Bill, but I liked Nardole early on. At their final episode I basically said to the tv, something along the lines of “that’s it? It can’t end like that. Bill Potts needs a better ending. She’s so underrated wtf do people don’t like her for?!”
Bill barricks for Meghan and Nardole barricks for Harry of Sussexes respectively.
To Steven, Matt, Pearl, Ben, Murray, Rachel, Benji, and most especially Emily: Thank you for this wonderful, parting, gift. #DoctorWhoLockdown has been a beacon of light in the darkness cast by the Pandemic, that deepened with the death of George Floyd. This final story is a fitting reminder about Hope, as we close this chapter (though I sincerely hope we, as a community, can come back, in the future, and do more of these events).

Murray Gold was the heart and soul of the show. Without him series 11 and 12 just doesn’t feel like Doctor Who. For me, personally, Segun’s music doesn’t work at all.
