Here are some of my favorite music by her : Tumpa,Montana,A MI palomita! ❤ Her songs are the only songs I listen too at a young age of 17 I find her music to be so powerful and it's just pure happiness that comes out of her music 🤍💐

Julie Andrews came close, with a four-octave vocal range, compared to Yma Sumac's five-octave range. However, she didn't employ the extremes of her range the way Ms. Sumac did.

I still have my parents' 78 rpm copies of 'Voice of the Xtabay' and 'Legend of the Sun Virgin'. I don't dare play them, even though I have a three-speed phonograph, in case I damage them. Thank goodness for the internet!!

@@DarlingReacts She created the role of Eliza Doolittle in 'My Fair Lady'. My father got to see it in London with the original cast, and loved it.
