I'm glad you shown how to replace the stock buttons, I was nervous about replacing them I'm glad u showed it. I wasn't sure that they came off.

Earlier today, I purchased a PS DualSense Edge controller. I have arthritis in my right hand so I'd like to remap the R2 to the right paddle. When I try I receive a message that R2 is assigned to multiple tasks so the remap will not work. Any suggestions?
So I've been thinking about this and what might be the issue. I haven't seen this happen myself and this is my daily use controller.
First, I would suggest try setting up multiple profiles outside of a game.
If that doesn't work, second, try to reset the existing profiles, then try the process again. This should allow you to set R2 to one of the back buttons with no issue.
I know it shouldn't have an issue, because in Hogwarts Legacy, I have R2 set to one of the back buttons.

Lay it on the table and use a plastic piece to slide to release your fingers is stopping it from coming off. I had the same problem.

Ouch. I haven't heard of anyone getting it yet. Contact Sony asap. The sticks can be replaced and it's still under warranty. They should take care of you.
Can u press the extra buttons on the back upside and down oder only down
They only press down like any other button or trigger.

But I have a follow up video to this after using it for more than a week.
SONY needs to:
1. Improve the battery life of DualSense Edge.
2. Remove the PlayStation logos embedded at the back of L2 and R2, my hands hurt after 2 hours of using the controller.
3. Remove the lock that locks the USB cable, that has to be the most useless thing included with a premium controller.
The glossy, removable, part in front of the controller is debatable, i personally don't like it, it looks cheap. Matte would have been a better solution.
240 Euros...overpriced. I paid 85 Euros for the stock DualSense controller and i use that controller more often than the Edge.
