Great job on this video and review! Yes, I totally agree that John Lusk, Lusk Outdoor Adventures is the premiere broad head tester on TH-cam today! Despite much success with RAGE this season, it was John who finally convinced me to try some SEVR!
I watch every John lusk broadhead video as well. I won't buy a broadhead before I watch a video by him on it. I bought these 1.75s after watching his video on it.
My issue I had with the 2.0 is the tip bend and pretty much the ferrule to now it was out of a Ravin crossbow r29x at 455 fps and it was a hard spine shot but the whole tip and into ferrule just bent
I shoot the Sevr Robusto. Still 2 inch cut but its 150g which i way prefer. Im still a fixed head guy, came to compounds from Trad Boys so guy thats why lol. But the Sevr Robustos are my does/meat deer broadhead of choice. If a buck pops up then obviously they'll do the job i just prefer my 150g Jager points for bigger, heavier build deer/Elk/Boar etc. Nice upload as usual mate.
I shot a 10pt this year with the 2.0. Perfect broadside double lung with a 400fps Ravin. Only got 6” of penetration. Not a drop of blood but I found the deer 120 yards away. I like the Sevr broadhead so now I switched to the 1.5 to ensure penetration
Never been fan of those types of broadheads but got the 1.75 and dont shoot alot of poundage but my shots are under 25 and i do prefer a arrow around that 460 total weight
Im giving the 150 rubusto a try shooting it from my hoyt vtm 31 at 81#@28" toatle arrow weight with head is 600 grains that includes a 75 grain brass insert oh and arrows are a 200 spine easton axis 5mm . Cant wait to draw some blood with them so far they shoot great
Did you notice any difference between 2.0 vs 1.75 with your shot grouping? I would assume they would be pretty close to identical in accuracy but just curious? Thanks
@@s.g.holmes have you tried the new 1.5 hybrid broadhead yet? I’m liking the bleeder blades! I might need to try them! I have a few 2.0 heads that I’m planning to use this year! Thanks
@@tbarto100 Yes, I have them! They look great. My first hunt is September mule deer, I'll most likely do a review on them after I've put them through the ringer.
Shot my bow buck with the 1.7" last year. I wish i would have looked more for blood to see how it opened him up, but he ran 50 yards and died. I also shot a pig with the 1.5 in the head and it did the job.
I just jumped into the mechanical word after shooting fixed for forever. Bought the 1.75’s. So far. Just target grouping them they fly just like field tips. Excited to try them on a deer here in ohio here shortly.
I just shot a doe with one got a complete pass through arrow was buried to the fletching in the dirt and the broadhead had no damage just a little dull
Matthews DXT with a 27" DL at 65# GT Hunter XT 300 spine cut 28" carbon to carbon 100 grain brass insert with a Nocturnal lit nock puts me about 509 grains of total arrow grain weight with about 13-15% FOC with this set up generate energy to deploy the 2.0 and have a good chance at a complete pass threw? West Texas white tail and feral hogs. Thank you
I've been using the 1.5 and have killed a dozen deer with them. Only one has made it out of sight. Every time I see them I say "Don't EVER CHANGE them".
SEVR 1.75 best broadhead for any NA game!
Absolutely! It's a hard one to beat!

Totally agree, he's awesome!!

He's super thorough and one I think you can trust for sure! Good luck this season and thanks for stopping by the channel!
Exact same thing here! Ordered immediately after watching Lusk’s review of the 1.75’s
You too buddy! headed to kansas In a couple weeks.

Can’t go wrong with any of those really! I appreciate it 🙏🏼

The 1.5 will definitely help if you’re having penetration issues.
I’ve thrown every head away and Sevr for me is the best head on the market. Iv never seen arrows blow thru as fast as the 1.5.
That 1.5 is an amazing head - super versatile!!
I just ordered 6 Sevr 1.75s in 125gr and I cant wait to load them up and get out this year. Just found your channel today, and subbed.
Those are going to pound! Hope you fill your freezer this season!

Now, that's a meat missile! Hope you have a great season!
Where did the shirt come from?
It was from my friend, Joe's collab awhile back.

Even at longer distances, I have not experienced any change in group sizes - they fly great.

Would 1.75 be okay for a 65lb draw 438 total grain arrow weight? Or should I stick with 1.5 ? Will be hunting big (hopefully big lol) Muleys
I’d go for it!

Wow! Sounds like they are working out well for you this year! @@4mileoutdoors268
@@s.g.holmes Yes sir the entrance was massive the exit was a little smaller but a pass through none the less
Have you tested the 1.5 Hybrid Sevr yet?
Yes, I used them for mule deer a couple of weeks ago and the results were outstanding!

I’d probably go with the 1.5 in that case

I'm absolutely with you there!!
Great video! I'm checking them out 👍🏼
Awesome man! I appreciate you stopping by the channel!
Where is that shirt from?
You can grab one at haxenhunt.com
That shirt is fire 🔥
You already know bro!
Need me this shirt 🔨
Great review!
So you're basically saying sevr had a 9mm and a .45 and the 1.75 is their .40 cal😂😂
Haven’t thought about it that way 😂 Hope you have a great season! Thanks for checking out the channel
Weird way of saying Iron Will single bevel 125
Hahaha, those are some great heads for sure! Shot my bill last year with a solid 100.
