About to visit with a renal doctor today.
My biggest concerns are about what to eat? Diabedes and CKD are what I am dealing with concerning a love one. Can you give me some insight to help me gain knowledge to know what I am doing is right.

Hi Angela! We highly recommend asking for a referral to a dietitian. There are dietitians that specialize in CKD, diabetes, and both! It's not mandatory to get a doctor's referral to see a dietitian in general, but some insurances do require it for coverage. A dietitian can also help with that once you reach out. If you'd like to see about working with one of our dietitians, you can check out www.plantpoweredkidneys.com/meet-the-team/
Working privately with a dietitian will allow us to give that detailed insight as to what is good and what can be improved on a diet. Hope this helps!
