    One of the other differences between Tom Brady ad Lebron James is Lebron tells people he spends millions on his body, and there's no evidence of it. Tom has created an entire fitness organization where he shares the exercise and foods he eats. He is very open about what he does; especially when he is directly asked.
    Lebron is monetizing everything he can to make money. If his training for longevity is real, why hasn't he monetized that? I'll tell you why. It's because it doesn't exist. My support for that is missing so many games per year, having to take breaks mid play, being questionable every night, and having injuries with no known mechanism of injury all mean his longevity is non-existent.

    There's a lot of factors coming to a head right now (in addition to the Darvin Ham situation):
    1. This year the physical decline was more pronounced;
    2. Multiple years in a row (post season) with highlight reels of 4th quarter buffoonery leading to losses;
    3. The pressure on the Lakers or any other team to sign both LeBron AND draft Bronny (I don't think any organization wants to swallow that poison pill);
    4. The rise of younger players who are much more exciting to watch;
    5. With all the excitement about the Timberwolve's aggressive defense, it's getting hard to deny that fans actually DO like to watch aggressive defense. Maybe the NBA can see that it might be smart to promote something else.
    6. The repeated steroid accusations ...
    There's definitely more things, but just off the top. Stuff like this is shifting the energy.

    I think McCantz has always been pretty skeptical about Lebron. I think he just feels more comfortable with not cushioning his opinions on him. I do also agree, however, that it is really weird that the media magically all became fed up with Lebron at the exact same moment. There is probably a lot going on behind the scenes that we don't know about... I just reall wonder what it could be

    • @mitchell7309
      @mitchell7309 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Agreed, I noticed it as well. The all of a sudden 180° turn from Kendrick Perkins knob slobbing over the past five years is proof. Shannon Sharp once he got his own podcast and hooked up with Stephen a Smith has softened his LeBron stance a lot as well. The only ones still going is annoying ass jock sniffing self loathing white man Nick Wrong. I don’t know maybe those Klutch sports checks abruptly stopped going out to paid members of the media. The one thing I disagree with AOH, There was no excuses made for LeBron in his first stint in Cleveland. There really was no need to. There was however, negativity starting to become kind of thrown his way after he visibly quit with a fake elbow injury in the still winnable 2010 Eastern conference semi finals against Boston. Where he probably pretty much already made his mind up he was leaving to Miami by game for a couple months before he called it on national television, if you notice every time he’s going into a free agency when he leaves, his last game, he takes his jersey off before he even gets to the locker room. Classic Witness LeQuitness. Iconic pout jobs. But the excuse making from the media didn’t really start until The summer of 2011 win the league and it’s marketing partners had to protect LeBron for his very visible poor character and poor showing in his free agency choice in the summer of 2010. That’s when they started excusing this abhorrent behavior. It only got when he briefly returned home in 2014, when he said he was going to stay in Cleveland the rest of his career in his letter, but after that 2016 championship, the media rolled out the red carpet of excuses for this guy at every turn because they had a vested interest in pushing the agenda that he was the best player ever right there with Michael Jordan. Also, I’m pretty sure with him recently oddly showing up to a Cleveland game, where his fans were acting like why can’t players go to games, which I get, it is kind of weird to me to go to a competitors playoff game when you’re still actively playing in the NBA. I definitely think that was a shot across the bow to the Lakers in his typical passive aggressive ways. But I definitely suspect something is going on behind-the-scenes in the NBA that everybody is all of a sudden fed up. Maybe they’re realizing his juice isn’t worth the squeeze at this point given the diminished abilities, but with the ever rising drama. Like I’ve never seen him throw more temper tantrum and child like pout sessions visibly on the court than I have the past 2 to 3 seasons, even when he was a much younger man and had more at stake to play for before he built his legacy. I think his level of narcissism and entitlement has ballooned up to levels that are intolerable now. And the league probably feels a little more secure now that they have a new electrifying young American superstar with a baby face and a super charismatic personality in Anthony Edwards. I can sense that the league is very quickly getting ready to move on from LeBron and gearing up for his departure, and now they might be more disgusted by the way he is manipulating and throwing his weight around to get his son drafted purely on nepotism and manipulation, when it’s clear as day, even if he ultimately is an NBA talent down the line, it’s definitely not deserving right now after he averaged four points per game as a freshman. At minimum, he probably needs another two years. They embellished his size 3 and scouts who actually watch the game or saying he’s the size of a point guard, but doesn’t have the ability to create an initiate offense and control the game, and has trouble creating separation from defenders at his size. That’s going to cause nothing but problems at the next level , he’s not an actual NBA player and his dad is manipulating him into the league forcing a team to draft him by promising that’s the team he’s going to go to. If I was his son, I would feel so embarrassed, especially once I got in that locker room. I do think LeBron should go back to Cleveland even if it’s taking a massive pay cut, he’s got more than enough money, he should finish his last 2 to 3 seasons in Cleveland, where it started, and where he spent the vast majority of his career, and the only franchise where he deserves a statue. I think it’s pathetic. He has spent 10 years of his career in uniform. I think it’s even more pathetic Cleveland fans cheer him when he’s left them high and dry, twice. Cleveland Cuckolds should be their name.

    With as obsessed with money as Lebron is and how hard he tries to market himself, if he had a diet/training/health regiment that he could actually point to for his longevity he would 100% be selling that shit. Hell, they used Tom Brady as an example and his trainer and diet was one of the most talked about things in the NFL and he markets the shit out of the TB12 method. And we all know that young NBA fans are way easier to manipulate into buying products than football fans. They will buy any trash shoe because their favorite player wears it, drink any sports drink because their favorite player drinks it. If he had a method to sell it would be worth millions. Michael smoked cigars. Lebron does steroids. Michael on Wizards played like a 40 year old, mid ranger-shooter crafty. Lebron plays like the strongest guy on the court with men half his age by driving the lane and pushing people. It doesn’t add up. Lance Armstrong. Barry Bonds. That is who to compare and even they were not doing anything near this at 40. It is not normal. And I think Lebron will play 1 more year with his son who he named after him like a doggy and then disappear hoping no one will investigate. No elite player can play the same style after 20 plus years.

    First point: Tom Brady managed to play as long as he did, because just as he was getting older, the rules got changed so much that QB's can't even be threatened with a harsh look. Two results (actually three): he didn't get hit as hard nor as often as older generation quarterbacks. This lead to the second result: he was less likely to flinch or brace for impact while making a pass, which helped his completion rate immensely. Look at old film of Montana. He didn't brace for impact as he made throws, which made his follow through so smooth, helping his accuracy and clutch play. But he got nailed, without protecting himself. This led to severe injuries and a limit to career longevity, as compared to today's quarterbacks...which brings us to the third result: a new era of overrated pampered QB's like Patrick Mahome. Maybe he would thrive in the days when football was football. I don't know. But Montana not getting destroyed under the old rules would undoubtedly have led to an even more stellar and longer career.
    Second point: NO FUCKING WAY is it close to necessary to spend a million dollars a year to be fit...not even close. Yes, I speak from experience, as an ex-athlete, coach and current fitness-centric middle age man. I keep in beyond fantastic shape all while battling age related realities and a full time physically demanding job. One can pay ridiculous money to stay in professional shape...but not a million dollars, unless they are getting completely ripped off. Of course, I don't take, nor recommend PED's (actually completely unnecessary and not worth the harm they cause), but even still. Only steroids can bring a bill that high. And steroids are the lazy and dangerous way out.
    One final point: I'm an endurance athlete all my life. But there was a time when I was just lifting weights and going to fighting classes. My endurance was TERRIBLE. So, I went back to my running and refocussed my weight training to enhance strength endurance. I wouldn't one-rep max ever, but I cut my recoveries to near zero. It helped me immensely in practical strength for athletic endeavors. It's kind of similar to Jerry Rice's philosophy. He wasn't the fastest athlete, but he never took a play off, and he wore out the DB's. Their top end speed was nowhere to be found after the first quarter. Endurance for speed and strength and toughness are not just underrated...they are the most important variables in professional sports. Old school NBA players knew that. They were far better basketball athletes than what we have today.

    It's really interesting, as one is able to listen and analyse LeBron, you will realise that he has taken so much time and effort to ape Mr. Jordan.. when the Goat won his first ring, he said to the multitude in Chicago " this is for you"..James aped that that and told Cleveland the same.. Jordan cried he did too... now, when you listen to early copious goats imitation of Jordan, he tries to be Jordan and I believe, that it goes farther than that, the man just simply can't help himself per his fraudulent spirit...

    I'm curious to know if it is true or not that Lebron is actually paying $1-2 million to maintain and improve his body. Has anyone seen what he does, or who trains him? I'm not knocking it. I'm really asking. I came across one celebrity trainer shown on Men's Health, who claims to train Lebron, but Lebron was not in the workout demonstration, and the workout he showed wouldn't do much to improve the performance of a basketball player at any level.
    So as of right now, based on Lebron's actions on the court, or lack thereof, I'm thinking that $1-2 million is paid to the league to allow him to stand around, and that is how he maintains his youth.

    The funniest comment I ever saw a Balco fanboy ever say in relation to his steroid use is “there is no steroid in the world that could pass a drug test”, as if in this day and age of medical science, nobody can concoct in a lab some sort of new drug that can’t pass a simple piss and blood test (because that’s all the NBA does to test for it). Also, if y’all really think this drug testing method the NBA uses is so iron-clad, then I have some beach front property in Phoenix I’d like to sell you.

    The reality is LeBron‘s résumé, he is the second greatest player of all time. Like with a bullet. Nobody else has argument over him. Résumé wise now when you take into context, nuance, tapestry, play style, rule sets, eye test And pure testimony. Most people have cover band Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant as the second greatest player of all time I do that interesting. Kobe Bryant’s first two seasons off his career, where he came out of high school and came off the bench behind a perennial All-Star shooting guard. His career averages aren’t that far off from LeBron. 27/5/5 to Bron’s 27/7/7. And that came with Kobe Bryant being a career long better defender. And probably got hosed out of one or two more MVPs due to the media, not liking him for a variety of reasons for a certain length of time and all that new resumes are virtually equal. Kobe Bryant has four championships where he was an alpha or alpha level player with Shaquille O’Neal and then when Gasol was his sidekick. And given nuance and context, two of LeBron’s championships are suspect because they were either lockout shortened season The meaningless bubble championship was a glorified AAU tournament or the majority of the players as this video stated didn’t care and didn’t even want to be there, and LeBron went all out as an opportunist to grab a cheap meaningless championship to put on his résumé. He was one of the main players besides Chris Paul, also his age,that were one of the few players really pushing to go back to play when I believe the rest of the league really didn’t want to. And then his other two legitimate 82 game season and playoff championships, one of them is tainted by a super suspect suspension in the middle of the finals, from a confrontation, instigated by LeBron himself that he should’ve been punished for. And very suspect officiating in game 6 To remove a blistering hot Stephen Curry with ticky tack fouls from the game. Causing him to throw his mouthpiece into the stands and for his wife to take to Twitter with a meltdown, claiming the league is rigged. And then the 2013, gets a lucky ass rebound and miracle shot from Ray Allen to save him from elimination. Poor coaching from Greg Popovich. And Tim Duncan blowing a wide-open layup that would’ve sealed the series. He has four rings and if you look at them in detail, they are all super suspect. Never mind the fact that he had to form teams to get there consistently in the weakest conference in basketball in 20 years. Where is Kobe’s rings, and I’m going to exclude the 2000 championship, because he was clearly a sidekick. The four of them that he won as an alpha caliber player, much more valuable context, not all championship wins are created equal. And if we’re being even more, Anthony Davis was the Lakers player from the year they got him in 2020 going forward. He was the best player on both sides of the ball for the Lakers and hit the most clutch shot of that postseason for them. And even in the finals LeBron put up great numbers But his opponent, Jimmy Butler, also put up great numbers on him and almost matched his numbers to a complete standstill. It was a team missing their second and third best player and they were a six to an eighth seed during the main portion of the real NBA season that year. The only person with more meaningless championships than those LeBron rings … Are the ones that go on Steph Curry and Kevin Durant’s in 2017 and 2018 with that absolutely loaded and totally fucking ridiculous Golden State Warriors super team that cowardly Kevin Durant for literally no reason. So much excess power it didn’t even matter. And dumbass Steph Curry shot his own legacy in the foot by allowing that guy on the team
