[The two killing parts of this video]
    1. (05:59)
"For a product to succeed, it needs to be great at something.
It's fine if it's not very good in a lot of other things,
but it needs to be really sharply great at something.
At Evernote, we were really great at a couple of things."
    2. (10:54)
"Like, I don't I don't think I've ever taken someone from like no to yes.
I always take people from yes to yeah, definitely."
I'm looking forward to the next episode. FOREVER EO👍.

As a founder of productivity SaaS startup, who also wants to solve the problems of knowledge management, my journey would naver have been possible without Phil and Evernote. I still vividly remember the moment I first knew about Evernote in early 2010, which then completely changed my life.
Ever since this eye-opening, life-changing moment, I have always been desiring to build something valuable like Evernote, which ultimately led to the current product our team and I are building, Typed.
Thank you Phil, for changing people’s lives. Not only your product but your journey has truly inspired millions of entrepreneurs all over the world.
Thanks EO for sharing such inspiring stories behind the scenes, which we cannot hear elsewhere.

Even Instagram was not the first photo-sharing app. The Facebooks and Flickres of the world existed.

Thanks EO for sharing this great talk by Phil.
    Key takeaways:
    1. Build the product for yourself or a community you already know well
    2. Focus on being better than the competition in some very specific ways rather than everything
    3. Side with users rather than payers during conflicts
    4. Focus on exciting users who like you rather than change everyone's mind

Evernote is most certainly responsible for cool producitivty apps that we take for granted nowadays. Thank you Phil, for paving the way and never stopping to build products of value.

The most fundamental lessons and should be applied in every first entrepreneurial venture [9:14 to 10:49]. I may also add that entrepreneurial success is in part the compounding effects of acquiring and applying knowledge in an iterative process and to do it confidently. If you're doing something that is intuitive to you, you'll start with the confidence in following through. Good luck everyone!
