Let's be honest - that and cheaters are the only big issues of this game. It's overall the most solid, most climax BF made so far that only need more love during production/support. Maybe some maps would need some love too, but either that - yeah, I'd rather stick to BF1 than BF:V, BF4 or upcomming BF2042.

You would get screwed hard any time you dare to try and move across any given field. Look at the part of this video when TBAG had the selbslater(definitely butchered that) on Rupture when he had some longer range engagements and take a moment to think how it would almost be TOO easy to kill at range if there wasn’t a bit of deviation. I think it actually helps allow people to move along and push into objectives and closer combat situations which most guns are meant for, whilst scouts can still nail some long range shots. Yeah, it can suck being suppressed as a sniper and having a shot deviate because of that, but would any sniper (the individual not the rifle) really be able to hit a super accurate shot whilst being suppressed to hell by an mg? In most battlefield games, you could shoot like crazy at a sniper and just miss and get sniped by them, but the suppression in bf1 paired with deviation allows you to potentially counter a sniper in long distance open areas. It opened up a whole new avenue of legit tactics and I really can’t be mad at anyone smart enough to utilize them.

IMHO, bf 1 is the last good sounding battlefield. BF V guns sounds are kind of... idk, plastic'y? Hard to describe, but just not as good. BF2042 is a bit better but still not as distinct as bf1. I hope its only the beta thing, maybe they'll polish the sounds on the release
yeah that wasn't deviation, not that close with that type of gun, that was either something with the server or him shooting in between the fine lines of the enemies silhouette or his bullets getting caught on the bush or stone wall, or even just potato aim
The maps, sounds, animations, and overall atmosphere of this game are incredible. This is my favorite game of all time and I don't see it getting replaced anytime soon.
How convenient, I just played a round of Conquest in Rupture, I used the old trusty Martini Henry infantry variant. Haven't played BF1 for a while (due to warzone) so I thought I would be a little rusty but I managed to kill 24 guys, 9 headshots and six 90+ meters marksman kills. I felt like I did pretty good considering I haven't played it for months. I love BF1, it's one of my favorite BFs of all time, been playing since BF3.
Still wished they would have done more with trenchwarfare. Even a proper gamemode unique to the serie. While there were trenches, it never had the feeling other WW1 games had.
An underappreciated thing I like about tbag is whenever he goes out of bounds he makes the music sound like it’s coming through a wall or underwater or somethjng like that and then it goes back to normal when he comes in bounds again. I think that’s a cool detail
BF1 is still my favorite Battlefield game. This game actually required teamwork and tactical understanding of your weapons to win. Bullet deviation was intended to slow the gameplay down so you don't run and gun COD style. This is WWI. Could you imagine if this game had no bullet deviation/recoil? The atmosphere would be ruined by MG and automatic weapon users. There is also a reason why they made bolt action rifles very powerful. In my opinion, this game wouldn't have been successful without punishing players that want to be COD players. This makes every weapon viable and unique to use and forces you to understand the strengths and weaknesses of your gun. Skill is actually required to use weapons and teamwork is essential for players to use each others unique abilities to help out and win.
BF1 is a game where there were moments of "This is WW1". I still remember massive bayonette charge on Hills of Verdun and fightning in melee after that. It is a great game, and I'm excited to play it once more (after I redownload it, of course).

Cant wait to see what you have instore for us when 2042 finally drops!! Talking about 2042 a little story of my BF career! I've played Battlefield since 1942, even remember the day I bought the game. I was on holiday with family in Malaysia and I convinced them to buy a $5 pirate copy that I could only use offline. It was definitely enough though cause I knew instantly that this game would be a hit. Now after many sequels and a series that has almost hit 20 Years! We finally get a new instalment and while I know that everyone has their gripes with the beta and other issues lets just remember the legacy of this franchise! DICE are an amazing developer with many hardworking staff that have been working 15 hour days to bring us this new game. I have been part of the BF2, BC2, BF3, BFH, BF4, MOH (im including this cause DICE made the MP),BF1, BFV betas and all of them have been absolute shitshows. But we all know the amazing game they have under the rough edge, we know the potential. And while it may seem we are just buying into a glorified development cycle (which we are lets not get it twisted) we ultimately know DICE will pull through and deliver another incredible entry ! BRING ON NOVEMBER BABY!
After using a laptop with a GTX 950M, barely able to get 60 fps on extremely low graphics and resolutions, I am now buying a desktop with an i5 10600K and a 3060Ti. Finally. After all these years, I will at last witness this masterpiece in its true glory. I never got to play BFV either, because that was already too much for my machine. Not anymore, though! HELL YEAH!

BFV was leagues better in terms of features than BF1 or BF4 ever were and I hate to see that dove is reverting to the old shit because a couple old crybaby’s wanna see weak vehicles and meat grinder infantry combat instead of highly mobile, tactically advanced gameplay. BFV was the most Battlefield that battlefield has been in years.

I've played most of the battlefield lineup including project reality and bf2 for a long time. This one in particular is by far the best when it comes to immersion even after playing the beta for 2042 nothing compares to this one. It's a masterpiece

I prefer the paired animation system from BFV. Especially for squad revives. It felt so much more like “cmon lad get up you aren’t finished yet!”
