bf1 is actually one of the best battlefield games in my opinion.

It doesn't keep me as long as BF4... But it sure is the better game.
BF4 has just more ways to play it. That's what I love about BF4.
@@Alex-K94 Pretty sure I'm just bad, but I have a much better experience with BF1. BF4 feels like it could be a good game, but on pc at least, it feels like I just constantly get stomped by campers and vehicle users when I hop on. Maybe console is better, but my Xbox broke so I can't check it out.
I confess that I'm happy, because the BF community is very faithful to the game, as much as we distanced ourselves for a while, we always come back sometime, I even went back to playing BF4 and BF1 together often too, because they are two timeless titles for us fans.
Battlefield 1 is my favourite game from all Battlefield games on PS4.
Just can't really enjoy it since I moved to Battlefield V and from there to hell let loose. Feels way too casual, even compared to bfv is the gunplay awful. And the atmosphere isn't that great if you have just the slightest knowledge about ww1. Was a great game back in the day but today it's just absolutely overhyped by people who didn't even played it in 2016.
@@meerpirat508 in my opinion, BF1 atmosphere and immersion hasn't been matched by any other BF game I played. I know it is not realistic, but it does an amazing job. (I only have played BF3, 4, 1 and V)
@@Aphexion it's a well made game but the fact that everyone is running around with full auto guns, all factions use the same vehicles and literal tank battles just ruin the atmosphere. It's more like a ww2 game. Because of the same reason I bought Verdun back then, to have a realistic ww1. Of course if you ignore all of that its great but I can't. Things like that kill the atmosphere for me that's why bfv was even better. Not just gameplay wise. Germans were driving German tanks and British were driving British tanks.
@@meerpirat508 I get your point and you are right. Thankfully I dont pay too much attention on that because I don't know about WW1 as much as I do about WW2 in terms of weaponry. It would be weird for me to see a Sherman on the German side, for example, so I understand your point.
The only game where I take a LMG and use it for its intended role... suppressing fire. This game is THAT cinematic.
Edit: I should have said the only game I play. I'm not too big on FPS games or gaming in general anymore so I usually don't play the hardcore shooters and milsims I own. I do know about Insurgency, HLL, Post Scriptum, Squad, Tannenberg and Verdun though. All good games in my book
I use the M1917 MG Telescopic to just annoy planes.

Ever since 2, 3, and MAYBE 4, Battlefield has turned into a piece of shit franchise . BF1 and 5 are no exception. People just have no taste anymore, anyone born after 2000 has no fucking clue what a good game is. I promise.

During this one game on Passchendaele, my entire team was attacking the B Objective, there were 32 of us, I was the only one who survived, I had to hide in a crater on the edge of the map and I lied there for a while, my heart beating, watching the enemy pass by and eventually my team eventually came for me and took the objective. It was one of the most stressful moments of my life
Battlefield 1 might not be perfect but damn, the soundtrack, the atmosphere, the animations and the voice acting were amazing, why battlefield 2042 couldn't be like this but in modren day ?

@@mohamednail1707 I think overall the game is actually decent, I like battlefield 1 a lot more, but I think the gameplay and the shooting is quite nice in BF5, I dare say one of the best. The maps were fun, and there wasn't inherently really overpowered. The only issue I think everyone had with the game were the characters and how the game was marketed, especially with the campaign.
Though what made it so mid tier was that it wasn't exceptional. It wasn't battlefield 3 or 4 where modern conflict allows more creative freedom and more insanity, along with more tools of war in comparison to a world war 2 game, and it wasn't battlefield 1 where the atmosphere made it feel like you were some nameless bloke in the heat of world war 1.

I keep coming back to this game. No other fps game is as satisfying but it sucks that its losing players daily.
It’s gaining players actually. Everyone is quitting the monstrosity’s known as vanguard and bf 2042 to head back to bf1 or play he’ll let loose on console.
Some even going back to bf5 too actually they got hella players now
Seeing the lebel and martini Henry in action brings back so many memories. Especially in hardcore servers.

This was my first Battlefield game. Had an absolute blast with it, and I still go back to it every now and again. This game has a special place in my heart, the atmosphere was like no other
I remember watching your worst to best videos after school and being so excited to get on 😊. This game's just so awesome. I've had so many cool memories just firing down range in the distance with an lmg ducking behind exploding cover and pushing the trenches. I love bf1. I hope you hit 500k soon :)

i love this game so much and i have almost 1500 hours in the game. but i see so much cheaters every day on pc...this makes me very sad because dice is doing nothing against cheaters since 2016

I play on pc and rarely if ever encounter a cheater. I suppose it has to do with geographical location, we south americans are too poor to buy cheats n_n
Funny thing : I found a Lebel Cartrige in my garden, the bullet was produced in 1896, and i found it somewhere close to a Kar-98k bullet from 1941, And i live in Cergy-Pontoise, in the suburbs of Paris ;)

One of the best games ever made in my opinion. The graphics were such an amazing accomplishment in this time. The step up from what was previously done is astounding. The soundtrack and sound design is perfect. And to think a WW1 era game could have been adapted to fit a modern gaming experience with a respect towards the history of WW1, is an accomplishment that we overlook.
Lighting in this game is just spectacular.

I don’t remember the map name but it’s the one where the British spawn on a ship, we held the objectives for a few minutes before snipers and one push broke our defence. It was so cool and it’s not impossible to take the objectives but it can be hard I wish battle field did that more

Nivelle Nights is such, such a well crafted map. just astonishing
I reinstalled the game maybe a year ago and had a couple of rushes where Nivelle Nights was frequent. Man, this map is annoying when the enemy has the upper hand. They can spawn camp you so hard, because you cant poke your head out of the trenches, but they can run around on the fields.
