I love Firas Zahabi and Jazzakallah Khair Brother Moutasem for bringing him in and enlightening us in this fantastic video; however, I have to disagree with Brother Firas regarding the October 7th incident. I totally agree 100% that killing any innocent human being (no matter which race, sect, or religion) is forbidden, and Haram in Islam, but taking Biden's word for granted and believing him in regards to the beheaded babies, especially since Brother Firas is well educated and knowledgable on the West propaganda and dirty techniques and lies that they follow to ruin the image of their enemies. Another thing that also needs to be considered is that in Israel, everyone is a soldier. It's by law that all citizens are trained and work in the army at some point, Every household has weapons, and those civilians were, at some point, Soldiers, if not currently, who killed so many from the Palestinians and will keep doing so. Most of the footage that was released by the resistance shows the fights that took place against soldiers carrying guns and fighting back; if they run, that doesn't mean they are civilians because they are just scared to fight, and that's well known of this Absurd army, the resistance also posted many videos of their fantastic treatment with the hostages. It's all over the internet, even in press conferences where the hostages say how great of a treatment they had with them and were treated Islamically. Mercifully, they smiled and waved goodbye to their wardens from the resistance. Brother Firas is a genius. I am a big follower and lover of him. He changed my life and mentality in so many ways. May Allah bless him and you, brother Moutasem!

6:05 While I’m usually impressed with Firas this part was misinformed. All he needs is to speak to an informed Palestinian to understand why he’s wrong here.

Surprised he’d also say he believed straight away what the president of the US was saying. Seriously? It’s so easy for people to wax poetic behind a computer. La hawla wala quwatta illa billah.

I didn’t like the way Firas kept discrediting our brave Mujahideen. Yes, let’s condemn what is haram but what we know is that a bunch of thugs escaped Gaza and it did some terrible things. They weren’t Hamas. Also, let’s not paint “innocent” Israelis as citizens at they are combatants all of them because they are reserves and have served in the army

I love firas and his work but with all due respect i disagree with him on the necessity of resistance. Palestinians in refugee camps outside of historical palestine are doing just as bad if not worse. Its a matter of survival. Leaving means no return. Nobody recognises them outside anyway. Its a matter of survival brother. Anyway much love from Australia

To help muslims return to this type of critical thinking, Scholars and Firas together should create courses and guided educational content inshALLAH. That would be really beneficial. JazakALLAH khair.

Let me briefly introduce myself. I am Irish and was brought up
Catholic. I am now agnostic and follow no religion.
I do not necessarily agree with everything Firaz believes but.
he has made a number of comments which I wholeheartedly
    agree with.
In my country of Ireland. Catholics and Protestant have butchered
and massacred each other. They now embrace peace and sit down
with each other. And i wholeheartedly believe if this can happen in
Ireland then there is no reason why cant sit down with each other
    as brothers and sisters.
In my youth, i recall seeing a schoolfriend of mine collecting money
for the I.R.A. Being a lover of peace and justice for all human beimgs,
I was shocked. I later said to him that the money he was collecting
was going to kill innocent men, women and children on the streets of
of England. He angerilly said to me "" British iimperialists killed innocent
men, women and chilren in Ireland."" I said to him that i agreed with he
said. I added. that it was and is not morally right to kill innocent men
    women and children.
And indeed. Firaz pointed out that it is against the teaching the teaching of
Islam to kill innocent men, women and children. And so to conclude i call for
an immediate cease fire to avoid the further deaths of innocent men, women
and children. I wish for peace and justice from the river to the sea..

It’s super sad watching this. I’ve always held Firas in high regard, but I strongly disagree with him on this. October 7th is not solely the work of Hamas. While Hamas is a political party with a militia wing, the events on October 7th represent the combined resistance efforts of all Palestinians resistance, that's a fact. These actions were driven by the constant terror, bombings, systematic hunger, and oppression they faced, they are predominantly targeting military personnel, and some more "controversial" operation they've done it in illegally occupied territory and focus more on inheriting hostages of peoples that's illegal to be there in the first place. Chasing a retreat soldier is not haram, that's part of the warfare, but idk Firas is very adamant I think he'll hardly change his view especially this is already an ingrained reaction to him as a Muslim living as minority in Canada, whenever there's a "violence" or "resistance" done by Muslims the initial reaction is to disown them and throw them under the bus, and mark my words these resistance that many peoples condemn in the future will be celeberated as freedom-fighters for just cause, and it's sad to see Firas will goes down in history as someone who against them, this will be remembered.

I disagree with coach firas on the topic of hijrah. It is not correct to make an analogy between the hijrah of the Prophet Sallallahu 3alaihi wa sallam and the Palestinians. It is indeed a fact that the Prophet Sallallahu 3alaihi wa sallam immigrated, but before that they lived for 3 years in exile. After divine revelation he got the command to immigrate to build up and strengthen the people to eventually conquer Mekkah. That was Allah's plan all along. Islam is a completed religion now, so you can not use a specific event that happened in the past to the situation that is happening now, because the situation now is very different.

A potential objection to Firas's argument about Christians basing their theology on a historical event could be that, similar to how Firas believes in the historicity of Noah's story but knows God exists through personal experience, Christians may argue that they have direct experiences with Jesus that lead them to trust in the reliability of the Gospel accounts. Just as a Muslim might claim to experience the divinity of Allah, Christians could assert that their encounters with Jesus affirm his divinity as portrayed in the Gospels.
Could someone suggest any flaws in my objection?
