Firas just went too hard and had a stance where you can't see shots that are coming, but the tradeoff is that you have no guard and can be knocked out with a heavy hook - a stance that only works in sparring when you're trolling and know the opponent won't try to actually knock you out. It was actually kinda disrespectful.
@The Forms: you know, i have to respectfully disagree. First, i would say that Firas is a world class coach and he knows exactly how much pressure to put on someone. Edit: Don't forget in my original comment, I am talking about online teaching about fighting. Channels that are fight analytics oriented do not count.
@@HulkVahkiin u would say the past vids firas has done on technique are more valuable than all of Shane's combined. Check my channel subs if you wanna find quality mma channels. You will notice Shane's and the weasle and mindsmash are absent.
I've never been in a boxing class, but these videos made me buy a bag and put in practice what I learn from them, especially the basic stuff ones.
Shane after sparring: Hey Yo Adrian!
I did it
Sparring and meeting high levels fighters is the best way to learn. Nothing is better than experience.
Its so difficult to find an open space to hit on Firas, with his deffence. I wish you can make a video anout how to break that defense Shane. Great sparring to you both, you are both champs. Cheers brothers.
Body shots, dutch hand traps to strip the gloves. And light taping triple jabs to blind while you hook around the guard.

Firas is an intriguing guy, his knowledge of Mma, science and philosophy, he is a guy I could sit and listen to for hours
Firas “TJ Dillishaw” Zahabi
😂😂😂😂
Firas is the best mma coach ever . So calm , so smart ,so wise and skillful .
I love this collaboration. You guys are great together.
Yah,they should marry each other and call their channel THE FIGHTING COUPLES
Wow! Shane you are the man for posting this. Truly humble.
You both have great channels thanks for the vids and everything I hope you keep them coming
Mad respect! Unedited just straight up raw videos and honest questions and answers. Thanks for sharing
watched this whole vid with a smile on my face, simply amazing
This was a good sparring session. I think both really enjoyed and learned a lot. I liked the footwork and angling from Firas that made Shane a little too late to respond and was more focussing on defence instead of offence. But I also like Shane never giving up in the pocket and get his defence tight and focused. Like sparring. Very nice!
"CTE bro its CTE"
Don’t know how to thank !! It’s like a treat to the eyes seeing two of my favorite teachers sparring and Shane having a huge respect for firas zahabi which he deserves rightfully so ❤️
This Spar reminds me of the saying "the Master has failed more times than the student has ever tried" ...coach Firas has immense experience and knowledge about all possible situations. Although I feel Shane went a little easy on him since he was his Guest!! Great learning session though 👍🏻💥
Shane didn't go easy for once. This is Firaz Zahabi not your average mma trainee
Shane could have messed him up
@@michaelmagallanes3382 lmao no
Firas & shane go insane! Best team up video ever!😮
Yoooo this is EPIC!!!! Right on man 👊
I love listening to Firas talk about fighting and technique so much
God this guy has knowledge
Just amazing how Coach Firas uses space to his advantage, doesn’t leave out any opportunity.
Let’s light spar,
Stops mid spar yes wonderful day today isn’t it Shane.
Anyway *jab*
When sparring someone way above you, there is a definite mixture of demoralization and intimidation that can arise, but it's ultimately a worthwhile and educational experience.
The good ones learn the others make excuses
Princess bride is a classic! He is right you MUST watch it!
Thanks this is such a treat to watch
We need video on firas's shufle and that quick rush he does, it is so perfect

He's litterally just changing is lead leg
Firas is one of the most real guys in mixed martial arts. If I was doing MMA and I could choose to do so, I would train with that guy.
It's easy, I see Firas, I instantly like. also, the tristar slap with the gangster walkoff 2:07
It's a thing of beauty, eh?
Also I have been trained to be a pilot, so not only can I relate with that analogy, but it is also very true and helpful. I will start working on my home base more.
Stfu
Shane your the best!👊🦁
Shane and Firas. You guys are awesome. Much respect to the both of you.
"If you're confused just go home"
I see Firas and I can only imagine how hard he is to spar, never once stood still or came in on a normal angle, superb...
Wow I didn't know he was that good
Gsp said he wouldve been a ufc champion
Paul C anyone know why he didnt went for a mma career instead of coaching?
@@AkamapD wasnt around in his physical prime
Beautiful to watch Firas footwork
Firas could EASILY have been a UFC fighter!!!!! EASILY!
100%, but his true calling was coaching!
GSP swears he would of been world champion
But he wasn't cuz he's a pussy, Conor said it best
Андрей Илья Робертович Блейков Shut up dude I’d like to see you say that to his face keyboard warrior.
He can still fight someone around his age. I'd like to see him in a super fight vs Ali AbdelAziz
Great stuff here! very organic ,relaxed yet precise....Firas comes in at crazy angles and can do so in an explosive manner..
great control from both, a blast to watch!
Shane: sparring light
Zahabi: need.... to... win... this... fight!
he was chillin
Firas took total control. But what a lesson in humility from Shane, he showed us that you can never know too much and that you can never be so arrogant not to learn from someone with more skill and experience. Your TH-cam success is well deserved Shane.
I watched the I'm not left handed clip and it's great
i love princess bride for that scene alone! its so good and all boxers should. mad props to the sparr session awesome content got my sub for sure
Shane,go watch princess bride right now!
Its a order
"an"
Great video. Both fighters are awesome.
Firas... he said light sparring... 😂😂😂
Yeah, light(ning fast) sparring 😳
crazy how you can be humbled so easy in this sport, you never stop to learn ever
The mad scientist vs the youtuber. The difference in experience is 😳
It would be fun to see them roll too. Firas' insights on the fly are gold.
Me: Expects Shane to talk about sparring
Shane: Actually spars
Me: :O
HOLLYYYYY SHITTT! You guys are amazing bro. Firas is amazing and shane is just a step below. And thats saying a lot cuz Firas is a legend.
