No need to shout about it
Haven't heard this yet, but i LOVE when Firas is on. I listened to the last one like 72 times.
well thats excessive
Downloaded it along with gsp and mighty mouse jre
Lmao
Firas is a wise man in so many things besides BJJ. Love it when he's on here.
Saw this and went to bed 3 hours later than I wanted to.
Same here 😄✌🏽
I got 4hours sleep last night, soon as i started listening im now wide awake even tho i promised myself "an early night" 😂
Date me I want free stuff and to be driven around.
@@graciegjj? 😂
@@chrischatwin4478 lmfao jfc what the fuck is that even 🤣
Firas articulation of the current generation and essentially that good times can create weaker/entitled people was on point.
Fact: Firas Zahabi is one of the top MMA coaches and brilliant minds in the game. Another fact: Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself.
-Prince Andrew
"I can confirm thats me in the photograph, but to the origin of the hand on her waist I am unaware" 🤔
This podcast was as amazing, as that prisons surveillance system was terrible.
@Usama Fayyaz in an interview he is shown a photo of him beside a young girl and his hand around her waste sexually, he literally just says, I don't know whos hand that is.
@Usama Fayyaz bitch shut up
@Usama Fayyaz The prison that Epstein killed himself in.
I would like Goggins and Firas to be one day in the same JRE to hear them debate about optimal physical training, they are so different and parts of what they both say rings so true to me. I would love them to talk for a while.
I think they have very different styles in training because A) they train for different things but also B) the mindset to train those different ways are very opposite
Low key one of the best JRE podcast's ever recorded!!!
This is something else, Firas is a genius
I see why Joe speaks so highly of this man, boss, MMA scholar
I really appreciated joe perspective on finding peace through martial arts. I do hear joe say some questionably unintelligent stuff. But his philosophical point about being able to cope and find peace through martial arts is absolutely beautiful! Love it!
Zahabi masterclass incoming, dude gonna drop so much knowledge
Purely subjective based on my own enjoyment: Firas is in my top 10 all-time JRE guests.
I haven't watched a ton of these, so I'd say Firas is like, top 3 easy, I really enjoy when graham hancock is on there too. Any recommendations?
@@Merrick yeah the first one with Firas was one that I still think about. Agreed on Graham Hancock. It would actually be interesting to make a top 10. Off the top of my head, some recent ones that are memorable for me: Ross Edgely, Fred Morin+David Mcmillan, Adam Greentree, Ed Calderon, the black keys
@@martyridds1 Thanks so much, I'll check them out
cheers
Him and Danaher were the best of the mma podcasts for me. GSP was also good.
@@dominickschrute3084 totally agree. Danaher's commentary of Gordon vs Cyborg was a big reason I became interested in following the bjj scene.
Firas literally an MMA genius
Firas after airplane story: "When I'm in public, the last thing I wanna do is fight. The LAST THING I WANNA DO is fight."
Firas during very next story: "I opened my car door. I was like, 'Let's go. You wanna go?"
LOL love firas
You didnt understand his point
The best guest on jre needs to become a regular
Rogan and Firas talking about MMA is like Obi-Wan Kenobi talking to Yoda about light saber duels
Hickson is Yoda.
One of the best guests to come on the show.
"You need to be perfect for 12 rounds. I just need to be perfect for one second." - Wilder
Tyson fury wrecked that kid
that's still doesn't take any thing from wilder power
@@mohamed-od3be sure it did you dosser! Wilder didnt fought any realy champ until fury came and he got bashed! Rogans even comparing him to Ali haha seems like Rogans not such an expert.
The main thing is you believed in the promo yells of a bum fighter 😂
Hey man, I've been a fan of Fury since the first Chisora fight and have rooted for him everytime even in his fight against Klitschko. I just think that quote form wilder is 🔥 but that doesn't mean I'm a fan of Wilder. Dude just has insane power.
One of the BEST MMA podcasts if NOT the BEST!! brilliant.
Hearing Firas talk about technique is so sweet
Tony Ferguson the type of guy to see holes in Firas Zahabi's coaching.
Gamebred Masvidal 😂
Lol.
Love that they talked about Saenchai. He's an underappreciated wizard.
He is a legend lol. Hardly under appreciated.
Saenchai is widely regarded as one of the greats- he's like the Muhammad Ali of muay thai
@@jaygormley6845 no that would be samart payakroon
Great guest...I usually ignore MMA podcast but this was a gem....
I'm someone who only watches JRE non-MA podcasts, but the one exception I make is for Mr. Zahabi. Respect.
Same here..
Hi Geert... I watched the didgerydont videos on your channel.. so badass!
Also~perused your music list, and I think you would like the soundtrack from the movie "Bad Batch"... I LOVE the movie, and the soundtrack...
Sorry to randomly intrude. ..
"annnnd for no apparent reason, from way out of left field , its Tracy Bush! "
@@tracybush1970 no probs, I liked your puppy videos too
the moment i saw firas zahabis name and a 3h podcast... it felt like heaven
I was hoping they touched on philosophy again. Great podcast but anybody else disappointed about that? :(
2 guys who love fighting sports and know there shit
Man i love this podcast
Just starting this but ridiculously excited as I loved Firas's last episode.
Same here, this dude is light years ahead of his time.
@@thebrownbaldy the training philosophy discussion (avoiding soreness) last time literally changed my life... Dude is a GENIUS, the amount of consideration and research he puts into his thinking is unparalleled.
Honestly think he’s of the calibre of Cus D’amato, the way they intertwine philosophy and fighting.
Last one was better. Firas went on too many tangents filled with illogical fallacies. Had some alt-right talking points at times (SJW, PC culture, raising kids w/ old school mentality, knocking universal healthcare, etc). But I enjoyed the parts where he stuck to his lane.
@@w.h.1940 not as much as a roomful of white men watching bbc
I’m 10 minutes in and I love his approach to training...such a genius
Genuine and humble - Firas is such a legend

The best thing about Firas and something I think alot of people should take away from his podcasts is that even though he is wise and smart, he never is egotistical about it. He is always willing to listen and gain knowledge from others and is never acting like a know it all.
Jaideep Bura facts very humble guy that’s slow to speak but quick to listen
Hes not that smart, perhaps by MMA standards, but not really.
Gsp has the best coaches in the game by far
Gabriel Tribuzy masvidal ? Tony ? Khabib ?
Gsp has the best TEAM of coaches
Daire Purcell John, Freddie and Firas are unmatched so far.
The best, who are humble, usually seek out the best. That way they become better. Just a thought.
I feel enlightened whenever I listen to these two powerful dudes , wether it’s mma, or not .
Best one yet joe!!
Foreeal though when is Derrick Lewis coming on
He's to busy still trying to find out where Rhonda's fine ass is at🤭
Lewis, D.C. and Max Holloway was all supposed to come on the show
When his baawllss cool down
Who cares.
James why u mad
Firas is a true modern day philosopher warrior. A fountain of wisdom and knowledge. Watch his individual videos. So much more to offer.
"He's got four aces, and he puts them right in your face... BOOOOOM!" - Joe Rogan
Joe: Why can't I use my head to deal damage?
Firas: Concussions...
Joe: ... I don't know ...
Im so disappointed that there was no philosophy part 2
Lol. I think they both realize that it's a debate that goes nowhere in the end.
same here.. was expecting to hear "I'll tell you why" at least couple hundred times :(
@@irtazaazam2573 and that makes it any less relevant ? Joe just knew he'd get schooled on his own show again
@@itzvirt just no use making a mountain out of a molehill. Was just a simple point.

Firas is so unassuming, imagine walking up to him aggressively with bad intentions
Joe has been lacking on the mma content way to pivot back
Huge Firas fan. Very intelligent and admiring individual.
