Testing the 65 piece $89.99 Set vs grade 8 bolts. Will the socket break? Will the bolt break? Will the bolt round off?

Awesome set for the price. You can't beat it unless you must have a genuine name which to me. I don't really care. I make the same amount of money if it's a tool from Walmart and gets the job done ✅
Great points!
That goat test is pretty novel! Nicely done.
lol
I still have a Mac Tools impact socket set I got when I was an apprentice in '88 or so. They're still going strong. I thought they were expensive back then but were a bargain compared to today lol.
What’s crazy is they haven’t gotten any better. So there’s no reason to “upgrade“. It was definitely an investment.
I watch your video because I’m thinking of getting of getting that same set and was concerned about the quality. Thank you. I will be ordering a set soon.
Awesome! Best of luck!
I spotted this set on Aliexpress for $60. No way to beat that. My last impact socket set I picked up about 25 years ago at Harbor Freight, and I never broke any, just lost pieces over the years. Now with great brushless electric impact tools, I need the sockets much more often.
Nioce!
Just ordered, thank you for the vid and the discount code!
Right on!!!
Probably should be using a bigger air hose for that 3/4 drive impact I know you had the required pressure but the volume does make a difference too I've noticed a difference going from a 3/8 to a 1/2-in hose on the bigger impacts
Probably. I do use hf fittings that make a huge difference in flow though. It would be a good test to test all the different scenarios though.
That's a well made ratchet. Great test.
Thanks!

Good testing. I have a grandson who just graduated collage-(rocket engineer-for real), and I'm thinking he might need some starter tools. I just want something that will hold up and have tools at hand when needed. I am talking home use, but I guess he could use these on making rockets (I for sure don't know). As we all know, sometimes top brand tools are not always top quality. These look to be good tools at a good price. I myself have some tools from the 50's and later that are still good. Even in my mid 70's I still want good tools, always hated havening to borrow anything, want my own!
I’m the same way!
Gotta say, of the hardware breaks before the tools that's usually a good thing
Agreed!
Is that wall covered in Washington state plates?
lol. Mostly. I'm always looking to trade...
Spokane local too??
yes sir
Next buy should be a good vise.
100%. I need a fireball vise!
