    Yeah this program DESPERATELY needs a procedural way to select lots of small objects because man if you accidently click when you're like 90% through selecting a gazillion faces... I have never wanted to harm others more

      Yea that would be useful 😂 so far the best way I have found is to group things in folders, then you can select them all at once.

      Seriously, shapr is incredible but some of the things that would be the simplest in other cad programs become the hardest thing to even figure out how to do.

      Considering it’s the only decent CAD available for a tablet I don’t judge too harshly. If I were on my PC i’d probably be using Blender far more often instead. But the UI on Shapr3D for iPad is really nice.

    Can’t see how you did the smooth transition. Could you explain plsz?

    • @JLake3D
      @JLake3D  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I used the replace face tool to match the face on one side, that requires upfront setup to make sure you have separate faces to work with, otherwise your whole model will be the same. Does that help explain it?

      @@JLake3D thanks a lot, will try that!

    When deleting the sketch, the body also gets deleted. Why yours stays?

    • @JLake3D
      @JLake3D  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      With the new parametric update, you have to keep sketches or hide them. To get rid of sketches you have to go to the history module and “merge history” while selecting the “delete sketches” option.
