Dude, fantastic truck and even dirty like that, she still have a great look. And that interior must the the nastiest I've ever seen before. But..., that's a great starting point to giving her a renewed lease on life. Great score!
177k when I bought it but the engine was replaced about 60k miles ago. There is a decent amount of rust underneath (radiator support, spare tire assembly is gone, any thin metal in back.) but still worth the price. I just re-did the interior...I should do a video but I'm pretty busy. Follow @carsmarts on TikTok for some Lightning restoration short videos.
@@bluetruck53 Yessir...pretty much what was done. Video soon. It's like night and day, but there are still cigar burns in carpet so I'll be changing it out eventually.

I’m sure a good professional detail could give thing beast a lot of life back. 🔥
Great video keep up the good content can't wait to see the progress on your truck
Nice find , I’m on the hunt for a stock lightning as well!
Less than 5 grand? Steal!
How many miles on it? I’ve seen work trucks (regular F150s) that look worse than that go for slightly more these days!

At least we now know he loved his cigars, his dog and flossing his teeth….good find steve
HA! Yep. And those floss things came in handy when it was time to scrape compacted ash off the carpet. Necessity is the mother of invention.
@@carsmartsmedia2324 Make sure you wear a mask, vacuum, scrape, vacuum, brush, vacuum, carpet cleaner, dry, vacuum again.
