Win, Lose, or Draw Airdate: February 11, 1988 (I win!)
Finally transferred this from VHS! My appearance and win on Win, Lose, or Draw in 1988 at age 22. I absolutely killed it at the audition and was selected for the show. Not long after the show, Burt and Burt productions called and asked me to come to a group meeting to discuss changes that could be made to show to freshen it as it had been on the air with the same format for over a year. I should have hit them up for a job, but I was young and dumb and just wanted to be an actor and writer. Michele and I had known each other for less than 3 years at this point and we were married in 1990, and we are still together. It was a fun experience even though my hair is hilarious and my drawings aren't perfect. I still dominate Pictionary, so watch out!

Hey what's that's Darth Vader's Buick G.N & G.N.X 😊❤ & I'll always subscribe to your channel and support it too 😊❤😊
😊❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
The commercials confirm when the other game show hosts week of 𝘚𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘣𝘭𝘦 aired. It's been said that the first one aired during November 9, 1987. I'm not sure where that was established from.
Kudos to you, and kudos to your lasting marriage.
Pretty cool ! Hint of 240Z in it. Near find !!
How much?
What’s this bullshit about not being able to buy an 87 t type. I bought mine. Ordered it from Buick. It wasn’t called a turbo t. It was a t type.
"Pee green" 😂😂
Any updates on the truck?
Thanks. Not really. I gutted interior to remove smoke, ash, and doghair when I got it, replaced carpet and seat. Great truck that I use only occasionally and always when I need a bed to haul stuff.
@@carsmartsmedia2324 I hear ya I actually just got one for $6500 with 130k miles About to put it on the road
Used to buy from Kirban Performance no more! Can't believe what the did to his business. What a insult to his name
I JUST BOUGHT A 1989 LA FORZA 5.0L V8 4x4 WITH 39,000 ORIGINAL MILES ON IT. I AM SO EXCITED TO OWN ONE OF THESE BEAUTIFUL MACHINES
Awesome. Are you in the Facebook group? Would def recommend. (Laforza SUV Owners Group) Also, please register the truck at carsmartsrado.com/lf-reg I'm trying to track all existing trucks, roadworthy or not. thx
Mega cool 80’s iconic car.
Dude you're in PA!!! I just found one and thinking about picking it up!!!
NOT a forklift engine… its a Ford v4 used in many other saabs and fords from 1966 to 1981 ish
Forklift engine
Hello what are you want for this olds?
Just found out about Shawn. He is truly an ambassador for Elvis
Picked one up one 7 months ago…a barn find since 2011!
Congrats. So nice.
Bought our GN Jan 23 1988, had 12 miles on it! Drove it from Johnson City Tn(They had 44 GNs then) to Waynesboro VA! Averaged 28 mpg alternating engine rpms! Car still runs and drives like new! Put a 3.73 in rear, 2 1/2 inch with flowmasters! ADS superchip and now has a TA66 turbo with green stripe injectors! Also own my first car-'67 SS350 Camaro 4 speed 4.11 posi! Still drive both cars every week! Also own '68 Mercury Cougar 428 cobra jet with C6 and nine inch 3.51 posi! Cougar is original GT with ram air! I love the old school cars, easy to work on and maintain!
Or save your arm and get Lightening Fast Stain Extractor from Chemical Guys. That stuff is amazing. Spray and wipe off, with little rubbing needed. Either way, this turned out great.
Also got a "brand new" OEM front bumper since then.
❤❤😊😊 hey what's happening now that's classic muscle Buick G.N & there's the Buick G.N.X fast and quick thanks for sharing your videos with me 🖐👍😮
Espectacular en Chile 2023❤❤❤❤
These were supposedly a GNX motor with revised heads. Seriously underrated at 250/340 running at mid to low 13 meant it was making at least 300.
Interestingly, the subtle cosmetic changes from the regular GTA's hurt sales...it didn't look much different but priced much higher. Today, those subtle differences make these more of a unicorn and that amazing drivetrain makes them very desirable, along with their rarity.
Lamex
Looks so much better with Euro-Spec Bumpers and headlights.
Not long after this video, Matt installed a NOS European front bumper. It's just a small piece of rubberized plastic...very subtle...and probably not all that effective in a "bump."
use this chemical with a drill brush way faster
Cool 1989 my friend's dad had this. Beautiful. We smoked all local 5.0 rustamgs and corvette were weak vs this beast . He had 150 shot and he regualarly ran 10s for years at mission. Raceway. Coool car. Turbo trans am with that supercharged V6 is a beautiful car
I believe it. Stock these ran low 13s. It easy to see 10s with some work.
If if was stock it had a turbo not a supercharger.
This is awesome! I've been driving my first car to this day, a 9-3. My dad used to have a 900 turbo and I was absolutely obsessed with it. I became a Saab guy, I'm currently trying to find a 9-3 wagon and a 900 with minimal rust (I live in the midwest, most 900s are rotted out😢)
What a great story...so did I hear that right - The 2nd owner drove the car 2000 miles in 30 years? Nice video. Here is a similar story in case you are interested. th-cam.com/video/DP7flrFfJYM/w-d-xo.html
Yes, exactly...second owner put 2k in 30 years and didn't change a thing on the car. Astounding. Love the video! Did you produce that? We're working on better graphics and transitions and I like what they did here.
my dad has had his ‘89 since ‘93, but with the cloth interior. absolute beautiful car
Omg I love this book!!!!
Rare 😮
Yep, one of 1,555
I picked up 2 Purple Haze 25th Anniversary heritage Edition camaros a RS and a Z28 which I’m the second owner of and only has 90,000
Great Video! I too have a 1971 Sonett III. Mine also being in about the same original condition... Same color too! They're great little cars. They're not a performance car by any means but sure are up to par with a very nice 70s sports car! The attention they get is incredible!
LOVE OLDSMOBILE
Hi all, Matt the owner here. many thanks to CarSmarts! I fixed the floating hood since that video was shot!
What a fantastic car! That thing is a dream come true!
Wow I’m a detailer and I never thought about using this bullshit lol
Detailers generally have extractors which would probably work just as well or better here. I didn't have access to one. Turns out, most of what was coming off was dog hair that floated up there with cigar smoke and stuck to the felt headliner (over years).
@@carsmartsmedia2324did the smoke stains come out ?? That’s what I’m after
@@Natethegreat200c the mix of dog hair and smoke soot came off with the method shown. The "fuzzies" turned out be loose dog hair. The rest of the interior (seats, carpet) were gutted and changed so no sign of previous smoker anywhere. thx
Actually extractors are not a good idea neither is your technique no disrespect.. when cleaning a headliner you should try and use as little moisture as possible as the glue residue to hold the headliner will start to fall apart and the headliner will start caving in on you. I hope this doesn’t happen to you.. but the way i do it is spray a little bit of upholstery cleaner or shampoo than scrub like your doing I do it with a drill brush or a microfiber rag… than wipe off excess… pretty much extractors or steamers will melt the glue
Im not saying what you were doing is really wrong I mean I did but I didn’t mean disrespect by it just was trying to show you a safer way.. ik this is more of a DIY but for a professional detailer if you fuck up on a clients car it’s on you.
HI I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH DENNIS AND HE AND I WORKED ON MANY CARS TOGETHER.HE WENT IN THE ARMY AND I WENT IN THE USAF SINCE THAT TIME 1966 WE HAVE NEVER SEEN EACH OTHER..I KNOW HIS WIFE AS SHE WAS IN MY CLASS.HOPE ALL IS WELL DENNY YOUR LONG LOST FRIEND RON
Nice. I'll pass this on to him but if want to contact him directly, simply go to Kirban Performance dot com. ~Steve
There was a guy that had 2 of these one was silver blue and the other was white...he sold the white
Many owners have two. I'll be looking for a nicer one soon but don't have plans to sell this beater one. It might be good for (some) parts.
@@carsmartsmedia2324 I would love to own one
@@donnelleeustache4549 Be sure to join the Facebook page (Laforza SUV Owners Group) if you haven't already. That's where some end up for sale.
@@carsmartsmedia2324 thanks I appreciate that 🙏💯
With 3,000 miles this car is condemned to live in a car collection. Too pretty.
Fav cars all time has a grand sport Buick and firebird but Trans- Am. Is my best car all time in the world***
How much??
Are those fenders badges correct
Yep!
@@carsmartsmedia2324 I 🤔 it was GTA with turbo under it. Mandela effect. Or this for pace car package only?
Those are an icon of the 80s.
A very sweet Trans Am!! You are right on the value of these cars. A few years back, approximately $10-$15K got you an example in good shape. Now they are getting close to $30K!! Also, these cars were later called American Supras in the early 2000s.
30+ if low mileage...and many of them are.
I just pushing it deeper in bro.
Dude, fantastic truck and even dirty like that, she still have a great look. And that interior must the the nastiest I've ever seen before. But..., that's a great starting point to giving her a renewed lease on life. Great score!
Elbow grease what parts store do you get that?
Pure oldsmobile luxury.
Very cool. I have a 1971 Sonett here in L.A. that I drive once or twice a week. Can't take it out without a conversation or three from people wondering what the heck it is, even though the license plate is "SAAB 71"
Honestly, before I met Matt (about 5 years ago), I had never seen one (even after living in L.A. for 20 years!). Now I'm a fan!
@@carsmartsmedia2324 I also have a ‘69 Saab 96 in very good shape if you ever get the hankering to shoot another video.
Beautiful!
