Hi, I just bought aftermarket crankshaft for my Honda Winner 150, the problem is it come with bearing preinstalled on the crankshaft (magnet side). The bearing is a bit bigger compare to original bearing so I cannot fit it onto the crankcase. Original bearing will just slide onto the crankcase. Do you have any idea how can I install the crankshaft?
Pushing the rod journal/crank pin through the web sure doesn't do the journal's surface any good, even though you tried to put some lube on it, it didn't do much. Then again, im surprised so many press in piston wrist pins don't damage their surface & score up the piston's bore.
What a ridiculous construction! The crankshaft is basically part of the water pump? Never seen that before, usually there is some kind of coupler in between

Shaft insertion overlap is correct.
Might have been safer to loctite it in and use a looser fit.
This video is for masters of shaft pressing.
I normally use Loctite :)

@@nepicness cutting the pin in half through the rod and pressing the two half pins inward causes much less damage to the webs.
Are you using Iscar tooling?
4140 or 4340
