    Is this brand coconut flakes good for making flour for gaps recipes that calls for coconut flour

    Will it be okay to have them in the oven for that length of time with no silpat? Sorry if that’s a silly question. Very new to all of this! And a little nervous about leaving the oven on that long since I never have 😄

    Looked at the cashews from the link to azure you provided but it had a warning about raw nuts needing to do a kill step for safety, can you please explain what that means or if there's a way to keep the nuts raw but yet safe for gaps. Thanks

      Great question! No cashews are available raw, because they have to be heated in order to be edible. The ones I get from Azure haven't been roasted. Hope that helps!

    Must the nuts be raw? I also love to bake my coconut with a sprinkle of salt. Super tasty.

      roasted nuts release a lot of oils which go rancid fairly quickly so if you use roasted be prepared for it to go off in about two months
