Porky Shoulda learned that when he stripped Bugs and Daffy from their clothes in the end, ok Bugs, Daffy practically stole porky's money, but why Bugs? he bought em.
It started off kind of mediocre but got increasingly better. I think Season 2 improved incredibly, not only in actual writing but also the animation. Lola became a lot more "secure" of a character, so to speak, for example. I also like her design better. Characters were able to be more fleshed out, and the jokes hit better.
The most memorable moment of Daffy in this show for me we was when he signs up for the marine corp thinking it was about marine biology. I still remember Daffy saving bugs in a rescue operation and just unloading with his rifle. After looking back in that episode, it all started with Bugs not wanting to go to the peach festival with Porky and Daffy accidentally become a marine instead of a marine biologist.
I can kind of see Bugs's issue with how he acts when he doesn't have his gloves. I wear my backpack EVERYWHERE outside and on days when I forget it, shit feels weird and I start acting odd and more distracted. The feeling of something not being there on your body can really mess with your brain.
Ok, let me get this straight, Daffy Duck is a fully qualified academic professor with both doctorate and PhD. degrees and certified to teach at college, plus fully trained combat veteran of the USMC MARSOC that saved countless lives while taking down a huge nr. of bad guys,....while at one point in time he a wizard that rivalled Nagash & Teclis!
I, in many ways, fit the stereotypical definition of a Looney Tunes purist, but I was OBSESSED with this reboot when it first aired. Didn't miss an episode. I wish there'd been a third season, but Rabbit's Run has its moments as a movie.
I hate how people hate on this show just because it's "not like the original show!" But personally, I think it's ok. I mean sure, the dialogue isn't the best and sometimes the jokes don't hit but what matters is that they kept the slapstick and that's what Looney toons is all about! Also, lola...HOLY CRAP LOLA! SHE KEEPS THIS SHOW FROM BEING AVERAGE TO ABOVE AVERAGE! Still, just my opinion! I love your reviews. They are so *ahem* F R E S H And I respect your opinion on this show. i cant be the only one who sees the whole "biker in the desert" scene with bugs as a nod to fritz the cat (had a similar scene in one of the movies, i would suggest not looking it up if youre in a crowded house and under the age of 18 lol)
9:04 if I were to be over analyze the scene, the lesson was "checks and balances". Both daffy and bugs' personalities actually help them keep each other in check, and their personality swapped (more or less), but since they still care about each other, bugs showed up to class and they're still in balance with each other.
This was a fun reboot but I could do without the merry melodies at every episode. They were too mediocre and bland for me. A lot of the episodes including this one were pretty fun to watch though.

I love Tanner's channel but he has a very niche audience. The only people who watch his videos are people who already like NInjago. We need people who review animated shows at large to talk about Ninjago. This will give Ninjago more exposure to fans of animation in general and grow its audience.
Daffy's classroom is 222 which is a reference to a TV show from the late 60s early 70s. It was sort of a dramedy about a history class set in a diverse school in Los Angeles.

I have a theory about the gloves! Bugs is a character that's commonly shifted disguises before and every time he changed his look he took on a new persona. The gloves being changed and Bugs reacting differently may be both a joke and a throwback to the old cartoons!

You know, it might be kind if fun to do a comparison between the more modern versions of bugs bunny and Mickey Mouse in wabbit and those online shorts that Disney has been putting out. It's kind of interesting to see how they have changed such as Mickey acting more over the top while bugs has become more of an everyman that isn't confidant all of the time. Just a thought if you ever have the time or interest.
What I like about the flashback is that daffy always wears the pearls so he either really greedy and want to show it off or he actually cares a lot about his grandma

I just realized: in this show, Daffy is basically just Roger from American Dad. In fact, I think the characters all borrowed a lot from American Dad. That's probably not intentional, but I think that's a big reason why I liked Looney Tunes Show so much. Of course it's a cartoon, it's the Looney Tunes, so obviously it gets ridiculous as hell, but is Bugs's reaction to not having his trademark gloves really that crazy? Some people have a routine, they have something that makes them feel complete, and if they don't have it then it causes them to break down. I know that's usually applied to "security" items like blankets, hats, toys, and stuff like that and because he has so many pairs, that seems to throw that idea out of the window, but what if has some severe form of OCD? I remember seeing episodes where he loses his shit because people borrow his stuff, usually without asking, so it's understandable, but people who have to have everything in a certain order or placed in a certain spot, that would drive them up the wall even more. Say the gloves aren't just gloves and he feels that they are part of him; like they are a part of his personality as he sees it. You take away the gloves, you've taken away a major part of Bugs (they're like the only clothes he wears) so you change the gloves, you change Bugs. He sees that they're biker gloves, so while he feels more like himself, he naturally changes with the style of gloves to the Bugs who would wear them. That's just my two cents on the gloves bit. I really like the references in this story, I loved when Bugs was with Wile E. Coyote, they had the "Easy Rider" thing going.
This episode kinda reminded me a lot of the old Looney Tunes episode "Bugs Bonnets" where Bugs and Elmer fudd's personalities would change whenever a hat would land on their heads.

Yep, it comes down to whether the change is written intentionally and purposefully vs if it's simple laziness/ignorance from writers.

I remember ths show as a kid after i watched the old 1900s cartoons
The Looney tunes Show is an example of a remake that can be named better than the original
my whole FAMILY loved this show, we still talk about it. That's how you know it's amazing
Lola: “But daddy I love him!”
Walter: “Go to your room!”
Lola: “...I DON’T EVEN LIVE HERE ANYMORE!”
Walter: “Well then go to your old room that your mother turned into a scrapbooking room!”
*after Lola leaves and Bugs is scolded by Walter (Lola’s dad) *
Patricia (Lola’s mom): “...You know, we’re young once.”
Loved the review, but that scene was too funny to leave out.
