J Turner My thoughts exactly. I haven't seen the show in a long time so I don't remember if this was actually the case but I thought it would have been perfect if Bug's profession in this series was as a stand up comedian like Jerry Seinfeld.
J Turner Very true. This show expires the idea that, there's a special somebody for everyone, even for people who are below average and are different from normal people.
Political Memes Funny story actually. They hated it cause a consistant argument was that it was too much like a sitcom instead of Looney tunes. HellRay Only thing I have to add is that the transition from cartoon violence to sitcom was what many like myself thought was a low budget marketing decision. It wasn't good at all, No matter how much you like it It was not good at all. Take a good look at Avatar the last airbender that aired on nickelodeon ...... now take a look at the one M night did. Because honestly the movie was there just to rake in money with low budget crap just like this reboot. Maybe if they added some backstory like Daffy and Bugs weren't working in the industry anymore so they're living together like Bigbang Theory and showed their true selves THEN yea I would cut this show slack. The fact one TH-camr likes this doesn't mean everyone hated it for a stupid reason. Low budget bullshit was obvious. Teen titans Go is a low budget bullshit show, I bet some edgy person in the future will just state how good that trash is.
Miss Kobe Yoshi I disagree on that one part about a transition. Looney Tunes can be a malleable IP. Comparing it to Avatar series and the last airbender movie isn't a good comparison. One took an IP and done something different with it, the other took an IP and Ripped it off, making it a pale lower quality imitation, squeezing all the heart out of the story to squeeze an entire season into a movie length. TLTS Started off rocky, but it ended up becoming its own thing and got better at it, especially compared to a previous take like Loonatics Unleashed.

geardog24 i’ll be honest, i loved this show growing up, along with the original, however i remember a lot of people hating on this show and i never understood why.

Y E E E S S S This show gets no publicity and was shut down from CN rather quickly and it didn't deserve to be taken off as early as it was. Sure there was a few meh things about the show, but it had a certain charm that I loved to watch, reminds me of a bit more of a more wacky King of the Hill, a show that I liked as well. We need more chill shows like this, with a bit more wackiness here and there, more often in animation and would be great if it would show up more. Great review, great show
I should go back and watch the show now that I’m older. It’s been a few years and I’m much older now I think I can appreciate it more. I already liked it but I think I would like it more now.
Alpha Jay Show I thought this show was a great show that is criminally underrated and I feel that people should not only give the show a shot, but also a fair chance. One of my personal favorite incarnations of the iconic Looney Tunes. Thanks for spreading some more love to this show and giving it it's fair due. Keep it Up man.
This show was so underrated. I can understand where people have issues with it, but despite it being a sitcom-styled LT show, it was mostly subtle and stayed true to the original character-wise. Miles better than Loonatics Unleashed that's for sure.

I loved the Looney Tunes Show. The animation was great and the veteran characters were actually in character. I remember back in 2011- 2012 where people were very divided on this show, though. There were people who loved it and people who absolutely hated it because "it wasn't like the original", despite the fact that it wasn't supposed to be like the original. To be honest, I don't think any incarnation of Looney Tunes will be as good as the Merrie Melodies, but I still think the Looney Tunes show was still very funny in its own way, being more of an animated sitcom. Yes, *some* of the jokes weren't written or delivered very well and had some bad timing, but I still think it's a good show. Not to mention what they did with Lola. Instead of being some eye candy who only existed to be a love interest for Bugs, she's now an actual CHARACTER.
I’m so happy you reviewed TLTS! it was one of my favorite shows to watch back when I was in middle school. I wish more people watched it, it was really great :(

It just feels like they really throttled Bugs. At least Mickey can be in other movies like The Brave Little Tailor. Bugs hardly even stars in the films he's in, like Mickey he's minor or a secondary character doing the same shtick you see him do in the old Looney Tunes.

Alpha Jay Show Most likely a reboot some right. Also I wanna ask a personal opinion. What makes a good show or movie? (I plan to start animating eventually)
I like this Looney tunes reboot. Its little different for usual looney toons classic but its okay And I enjoy Merrie Melodies segments My favorite Daffy Duck the Wizard song
As much as this is out of context I think they should reboot my life as a teen age robot it would work well on Netflix and would "fit" on the era that were in
My favorite Daffy/Tina moment is in the episode where Daffy accidentally sends his insulting email to everyone instead of deleting it and and she reads the part where he calls her a psychopath for actually putting up with him in front of him.
Ahead of it's time tbh when it was one I was quite young and simply got bored with it but now it's quite entertaining and funny now that I'm older, I think maybe with some more mature situations (not to mature )it would've fit greatly into the adult swim time slots
I wish they would have kept this show going. We need to have the Classic WB/Hanna Barbara/Time Warner cartoons have a foot in the animation space. Its like not having Jim Hensen Properties Like Sesame street not surface for next generation. I wonder if they're gonna reboot Tiny Toons?
This reboot is WAY better than Teen Titans GO, the Powerpuff Girls and the Ben 10 reboot. The show itself had so many admirable things that made it AWESOME • The Animation; Holy shit, I loved the fucking art style, the lines and color look so clean and smooth, the best part it's hand drawn which makes it better, it's pretty much self explanatory • The Jokes and Writing; Most Looney Tunes fans were bitching alot about Bugs becoming Daffy and Daffy becoming Bugs, even though they use less slapstick and more sitcom-like humor which I enjoyed, it was better than TTG's humor in general, when in terms of being said "Actually Funny" • The Designs; I REALLY loved the redesigns for the show, you can thank Jessica Borutski for making them look so wild and fabulous, its pretty much some good eye candy, to stare at. Overall, this reboot is more than fantastic, it's absolutely phenomenal, definitely better than any god awful reboot CN made in the past few years. It's a shame it ended in a few years for people to recognize it. Anyway amazing videos Alpha Jay! Keep up the good work, man!
I hated some episodes of this show but it was good the thing liked about Lola in this series was her personality and the thing I liked about Space Jam Lola was her design excpect her clothing design with that weird tanktop short shorts but loved her voice too.
ONG, I'm so glad that you're reviewing this series! I think I remember watching it while I was younger, I rediscovered it in the summer of 2016 on Boomerang. It easily became one of my favourite shows ever. I can't wait for more reviews.
This show needed better treatment from Cartoon Network. I know it’s a Warner Bros Show (obviously if you’re a fan of Looney Tunes like I am), and before Teen Titans Go no one at CN Gave two shits about Warner Bros shows, but really. This show was good, and it deserved better.
Was an enjoyable show, love standard Looney tunes, as a reboot it didn't make me hate it as it tries to stand true with characters while still making a branching story
Space Jam Lola didn't have much of a personality. I'll be the first to awkwardly admit that she's hot, like way too much so for a movie aimed at children, but this Lola is a genuinely well written and likable character who on many levels I can relate to. ...Not the stalkerish things, but just the bubbly personality.
This was great, and a nice example as to how to change a different formula of a well known series yet still respecting the core of the characters in the new setting.
The Looney Tunes Shows was good and I honestly think it deserves a longer run. It one of my favorite cartoons when I was younger and I absolutely love it. I think the show should have got more attention when it was airing on CN because it very fun and interesting to watch and the plot is brilliant.
I really enjoyed this show and was sad to see it stop airing. Compared to other reboots we see now, this was truly a reboot "done right". Great video as always, keep up the great work!
I was pissed that they cancelled this show. I loved how it was different than the other versions of it's characters and atmosphere. This has to be my favourite episode because it just makes me laugh that it isn't until Lola isn't crazy about Bugs that he actually starts to want her.
I never though someone would do a review on this show. It is one of my favorite shows from my late elementary too early high school years. Love your channel so far.
I nearly had a nerdgasm with the wizard music video. I was going around waving my hands saying "WIZARD" at modern technology for months after that episode.
Tina is my absolute favorite character in this show. I Didn't mind this show, i like it. The only bits i had to dislike are the random songs melodies that pop in from time to time.
For me I liked about every episode, and the songs were hit and miss. Some songs I really liked and found hilarious (such as Giant Robot Love) and others I found just cringy (Long-Eared Drifter)
I thought I was the only one who liked this show. This show was so funny and like you said, "down to earth". The humor worked, the melodies were catchy and nice, and Daffy's shenanigans were enjoyable.
i love how smooth the episodes feel and its this unique side of looney tunes you never see which makes this show really special. I like to go back and forth watching the old fast paced looney tunes we all know and love and then watch this slice of life version which is just as great.
Awesome video Jay! I remember watching this show a little bit as a kid, I was a Cartoon Network addict as a kid (15 now). I definitely remember watching this show a little as a kid but it really wasn't my taste during that age. This video certainly brought up a lot of memories and me watching this show during my winter, spring, and summer breaks. I definitely need to go back sometime and rewatch some of these episodes
I think the best show to compare it to today would be We Bare Bears, and I got to say I love both these shows, hope there are more down to earth animations in the future.
Ok, I'm willing to admit that I honestly didn't really care for the show in the beginning, thinking the old Looney Tunes was much better in comparison how it is in this iteration. Looking back at the old versions and watching this show again, I honestly can't even tell the difference anymore. Its interesting when you actually take note of the details when you compare something completely new with something old. I mean, I like how Lola is written, but some part of me misses that tomboyish, no nonsense version from Space Jam. I mean, she is a Looney Toon now, and they wrote her in as such for the show, but I kinda liked how she used to be the more 'down to earth' individual. Even still, they show her both with her flaws and with her upsides. She is a very upbeat, naive, and very child like how she views the world. I guess it comes down to the fact I was just looking through rose tinted glasses, so I never gave the show a fair shake when I tried to find reasons not to like it.
Nah, they definitely work better as friends! The later episodes show this as well, and it's quite brilliant whenever they go on misadventures with each other!
I never saw the show. When the thumbnail popped up in my recommends my intital reaction was to raise one eyebrow, turn to my girlfriend, and ask "when did Daffy hook up?". And I always thought Bugs' stalker was names Babs, not Lola, and then I remembered that Babs was from Tiny Toons.
The problem was that it came out in 2011, which was a different time and why it received backlash. The show was ahead of it’s time and is just now being well received. A lot of the humor is much relatable now. Idk if it’s cause I got older or just accepted the fact that it’s sitcom and delivered it real well looking back at it now. Really regret not enjoying the show while it lasted cus I was under the concept that they could only work as gag characters, which I was clearly proven wrong.
I do agree that it came out in the wrong year. It might have done better and lasted longer if it was made during the early 2000's era of cartoons. Half the haters would have been children or preteens so it would have been easier for them to accept it.
"If you're not doing anything tonight, which you probably are because you're not ugly..." That is a great line, and the best part is that it's actually sincere of him.
I really liked the Looney Tunes Show, because it felt like a fusion between classic Looney Tunes and Seinfeld.
J Turner My thoughts exactly. I haven't seen the show in a long time so I don't remember if this was actually the case but I thought it would have been perfect if Bug's profession in this series was as a stand up comedian like Jerry Seinfeld.
Matt Boy52 That might have been a bit too much, but I would have loved to see him try it out.
Yes that is true that was one reason why I liked it
Two great things rolled into one, managing to strike a great balance!
If Daffy can have a Girlfriend, I guess I have a chance as well.
J Turner Very true. This show expires the idea that, there's a special somebody for everyone, even for people who are below average and are different from normal people.
Unmeltable Dude That's is very brilliant mindset and I like it a lot. It's very agreeable and I like the message it's trying to send to the audience.
I still don´t
''Don't do that. Don't give me hope.''
it's been a year, no luck for me
It's a shame this show was barely acknowledged
Silver Blade Agreed
+Alpha Jay Show I watch the show too much
It seemed too good of a show to be underrated.
I only know about this show thanks to rips on dailymotion
i never understood why this show was so disliked
Ayy, glad to see ya back. Maybe I missed a comment or two lol

The Toho Society

Error0101 It was rarely aired on CN and was ultimately cancelled
Giggly Fox 2 short seasons
The Toho Society yeah
I always loved this reboot. I like that it changed things up but left in the elements that made the original great!
I have agreed with you I really enjoy watching in that I love more than the original and I really love the original so that’s saying a lot
Ehh... they didn't really left in the elements what made the originals great, and if they were really trying too, it's effortless.
Yea, it was fantastic loved seeing it on CN in bahrain
Agreed
It depends on the area pam.
Criminally underrated show
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought the looney tunes show was a good reboot(edit: thank you for the heart)

Alpha Jay Show Hello
Hindu Frappe why hello there
Hindu Frappe Same
My friends never gave the show a chance, this upset me immensely since it was fantastic
Yeah it was really fun
a late comment but its not like they have to watch it for hours, 5 minutes with daffy and i was hooked hook line and sinker hahah
4:22 Bugs is immortal. That’s why. He’s been around for almost 80 years now, and he is still alive. The average lifespan of a rabbit in the wild is 1-2 years! How is bugs alive!
Channel 821 he’s a cunning character
Cartoons live forever... I thought? Idk why people still ask this...
Oh I don’t know, maybe because it’s called a CARTOON!!!
He's Super rabbit
He not a rabbit he a hare

Minty milo Exactly.
It was a shit reboot because they strayed so far from what really made them popular, *cartoon violence and witty jokes*. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone in this comment section seriously!
The way they execute plot points is nowhere near witty, feels like any other sitcom.
...not even the jokes, big bang theory's jokes are way better than this. Already watched it still think its mediocre.
The originals were good, but lacked depth to their 1 dimensional characters. This show gave them a more expansive outlook.
Why oh why did this only have 2 seasons?!😢
geardog24 I know right?
geardog24
Guessing it was taken for granted.
because people are stupid and don't know how good something is until it's gone

To be honest this show should have last longer then it should and not be taken off to be on Boomerang.
Ryubi Blossoms Agreed. I would love another season.
And it could be on the Saturday morning block after all the Friday new episode reruns
I just want a Daffy Duck the Wizard spinoff.
If Duck Dodgers can get one, so can Daffy the Wizard. Even has it's own special style.
That'd be amazing.
Ursquidicuss the Great I love the wizard part😂
That would be bomb dot com

Bacun A wacky King of The Hill. Makes a lot of sense actually.
Alpha Jay Show Funny it reminded me more of Seinfeld.
Woohoo! Definitely one of more under-appreciated shows of this decade. Glad it's getting more attention!
I should go back and watch the show now that I’m older. It’s been a few years and I’m much older now I think I can appreciate it more. I already liked it but I think I would like it more now.
None of Your Business I would highly recommend.
Yes , I love that you're actually getting to a cartoon network reboot that actually isn't god awful, thank you man .😁👌
Nathaniel Foga No problem!
Justice League Action is another good one.
This was a good show.
*_too bad it's fucking dead, m8._*
Grandark Zephyrum Agreed, it was a good show.
Grandark Zephyrum
Even worse given what replaced it.
Alpha Jay Show they need to bring it back to life
What do you think of the Looney Tunes Show?
Alpha Jay Show I woke up at 4 every morning last year to watch this on boomerang.

It's good
I love it
It never should've ended.
My favorite episode is the one where daffy tries to be a hair dresser and disguises himself as Tina lol
Alpha Raxx I remember that episode lol.
And bugs is a woman to be Porky’s dance partner and then Speedy falls madly in love with him.

Finally, SOMEONE says it. This show is underrated as hell. My only gripe is that it isn't an Adult Swim show, as this concept would be perfect for it.
Some Kind of Democrat Huh, this is the second comment to say that.
Some Kind of Democrat I could have seen this on Adult Swim.
Some Kind of Democrat
I'm interested on how it will be on Adult Swim.
Probably a little more like smiling friends probably.
This show got me into Seinfeld.

Owl's Productions Yes.
It definitely has the same vibe.

I remember seeing a commercial for one more season but it never aired. I was so disappoint ed

I loved this show! They changed SOME elements but not TOO much. And the characters had more... "character" in my opinion.
Totally agree
Joann Jaison Particularly Lola.
How did the characters have more character? They were OUT of character. I mean, why is Witch Hazel black? Why is Gossamer a kid? That's not Looney Tunes or character development.

The Looney Toons Show I love Its modern comedy and smart jokes the characters has fantastic development!
Mizuki yeah, but the looney toons are always meant to be one dimensional.

• The Jokes and Writing; Most Looney Tunes fans were bitching alot about Bugs becoming Daffy and Daffy becoming Bugs, even though they use less slapstick and more sitcom-like humor which I enjoyed, it was better than TTG's humor in general, when in terms of being said "Actually Funny"
• The Designs; I REALLY loved the redesigns for the show, you can thank Jessica Borutski for making them look so wild and fabulous, its pretty much some good eye candy, to stare at.
Overall, this reboot is more than fantastic, it's absolutely phenomenal, definitely better than any god awful reboot CN made in the past few years. It's a shame it ended in a few years for people to recognize it. Anyway amazing videos Alpha Jay! Keep up the good work, man!
The Nicktoons Hero Really love the analysis here! Also, you're welcome
The Nicktoons Hero
They put a lot of love in this show and you can tell.
thgritic102 And effort too. Something the Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs series, TTG, PPG and Ben 10 2016 don't have.
The Nicktoons Hero
Yep.
Wizard Daffy is my favorite running gag, like, you saw the origin in one episode and "holy shit he's still going"
I hated some episodes of this show but it was good the thing liked about Lola in this series was her personality and the thing I liked about Space Jam Lola was her design excpect her clothing design with that weird tanktop short shorts but loved her voice too.
Winner Star I think you mean ‘Except ‘
One of the best reboots!
FINALLY SOMEONE TALKING ABOUT THIS SHOW!
Austin PaRz It's one of my favorites.
I was obsessed with this show. Lola was my favorite character and favorite parts of the show
I'm so glad you took time to review this show, it truly deserves more love 🐰💕
Keep up with the great job!~
Mili Ascencio Thank you! ^^
ONG, I'm so glad that you're reviewing this series! I think I remember watching it while I was younger, I rediscovered it in the summer of 2016 on Boomerang. It easily became one of my favourite shows ever. I can't wait for more reviews.
I remember watching this cartoon everyday after coming home from school, good memories!
THE W0LF B0Y Same!
Ser Smiles Thank you for commenting. ^^
It's a reboot that isn't boring, lazy, annoying to the audience , pandering or cracking unfunny jokes every 2 seconds.
This show has the best Lola.
StuffZ Better than Space Jam?
Space Jam Lola didn't have much of a personality. I'll be the first to awkwardly admit that she's hot, like way too much so for a movie aimed at children, but this Lola is a genuinely well written and likable character who on many levels I can relate to.
...Not the stalkerish things, but just the bubbly personality.
Alpha Jay Show Absolutely.
i like "the yacht" because it's daffy at his worst
K REAL [yes it is] 創造的な The yacht was amazing.
Alpha Jay Show I loved it especially when Porky tried to strangle him.
You murdered a lady! WITH A CHAINSAW. Wait was it that episode
And he didn’t buy a sail or life preservers because he decided instead to buy 2 hot tubs and fine bed sheets.
Alpha Jay Show Too bad we may never see the characters like this ever again.
I was disappointed when this show got cancelled. It was the first time I’ve cared about the Looney Tunes since the original content
A very underrated show. I really loved this show. Wouldn't mind to have seen a third season of it.
Omg I was just talking about this show with my friends a few days ago, it’s so underrated and deserved to go on longer than it did
Brandon Shover It truly did.
I really enjoyed this show! I really liked the more relaxed, mature tone of it. And Daffy is one of my favorite things about the show, he's a riot!
I'll have to see if this is still on Netflix. Good shtuff as usual.
This was great, and a nice example as to how to change a different formula of a well known series yet still respecting the core of the characters in the new setting.
Yes! I’ve always wanted you to make a video about this show!!
AF_1 Glad I could come around to it
Alpha Jay Show thank you very much for doing it! Can’t wait for your next video
The Looney Tunes Shows was good and I honestly think it deserves a longer run. It one of my favorite cartoons when I was younger and I absolutely love it. I think the show should have got more attention when it was airing on CN because it very fun and interesting to watch and the plot is brilliant.
I hope you do other episode of this show but then again I know you busy and all.
When daffy says am I that disgusting building and then saying that's the nicest thing someone ever said to me I thought it was really funny🤣
I loved this show! It never got the love it deserved, though.
Roman Keller I agree.
I loved this show so much I was so heart broken when it got canceled
xx silvermoonlight xx Same!
I nearly had a nerdgasm with the wizard music video. I was going around waving my hands saying "WIZARD" at modern technology for months after that episode.
Honestly, even back when I was 9 when this came out in my country..
Even I thought this was a good reboot :D
Ryeven Raven It was amazing!
Tina is my absolute favorite character in this show.
I Didn't mind this show, i like it. The only bits i had to dislike are the random songs melodies that pop in from time to time.
pichugirl6 Yeah, I can respect that.
Plus they at least didn't try make all the familiar characters unlikeable.
For me I liked about every episode, and the songs were hit and miss. Some songs I really liked and found hilarious (such as Giant Robot Love) and others I found just cringy (Long-Eared Drifter)
Man this show is so underrated. I liked it
Agreed.
I thought I was the only one who liked this show. This show was so funny and like you said, "down to earth". The humor worked, the melodies were catchy and nice, and Daffy's shenanigans were enjoyable.
Getting really close to 100.
Up Next - Phineas and Ferb (Community Voted) [91]
Also, video production will greatly speed up from here.
Tyler Wilson Yes.
i love how smooth the episodes feel and its this unique side of looney tunes you never see which makes this show really special. I like to go back and forth watching the old fast paced looney tunes we all know and love and then watch this slice of life version which is just as great.
a rare reboot that was ok
(still think ducktales is the best reboot )
Cubeman That's completely fine lol
I guess it comes down to the fact I was just looking through rose tinted glasses, so I never gave the show a fair shake when I tried to find reasons not to like it.
you know.....you don't have to compare all reboots to teen titans go
Factually incorrect. Did I do this in my DuckTales Reboot?
fair point
Daffy Duck having a business card declaring him a “Wizard” is unironically of of the funniest jokes in the show IMO.
Is it weird that I wanted Daffy and Lola to be together?
geardog24 Well it makes sense.
well i guess both of them have a same personality and it would be possible to be together
I'm gonna say yeah.
Nah, they definitely work better as friends! The later episodes show this as well, and it's quite brilliant whenever they go on misadventures with each other!
Jalen Monday like that one where they try to find Tosh the gopher (and do pretty bad at it)
I never saw the show.
I would love if you made a Star Wars the clone wars video on any episode on the series I would cry if you would make one
Sure GGGaming Clips! The links for requests are in the description below.
This show has always been my favorite LT incarnation outside of the original of course. The writing and characters were at their best.
"If you're not doing anything tonight, which you probably are because you're not ugly..."
That is a great line, and the best part is that it's actually sincere of him.
Man i loved this show, and damn, i wish that more people have it a chance
Zero II Same!
Honestly this was so under appreciated!
I like the show very much, they did a good job with this reboot.I love the new characters aswell.
Same!
Im glad to see someone talk about this show and Double Date is one of my favorite episodes
