Everytime I watch Insym play Shadows of Doubt it immediately makes me want to play. I'm actually stuck on a case very similar to the Beau Stalker right now, so it was extra fun to watch it. Edit: Couldn't remember the name of mine but knew it wasn't the Beau Stalker, so I checked. Mine is the Date Night Skinner!

The first video i watched of you playing this game, not even because i was your viewer but because it was on my youtube recommended, i immediately got hooked on this game 🤩 this is easily the best game ever made
What I did in this game. I opened the book with all contacts, found every place where people can work and then just broke there, found the employee files and inspected them :D It kinda broke the game because I had every information on everybody including fingerprints so every case was easy to solve from that point. The employee files are kinda too much OP. :D
Just want everyone who watches this episode to know that Insym's commentary regarding wanting to catch this stalker on cameras outside the house does work. I wish cases like this one generated more often but I have gotten one that actually had a stalker who visited the house regularly for several days beforehand. Took a lot of following leads but it did end up being one of my people who were outside the house alot. You do have to get kinda lucky though... that the camera actually points at the door. I suspect if the camera doesn't actually point properly at the door you might get this case generated without actually being able to see them on the camera. (No proof but a suspicion due to other quirky cases I have had with cameras)
I think it could be really cool if they added disguise mechanics, so the player could disguise themselves, and the killer could also be disguising themselves too e.g. a killer has short brown hair, they wear a wig that makes them look like they have long black hair for the duration of the murder. but in their apartment in their safe or in a drawer is the wig. but sometimes people will rarely just have a wig so there's a chance it's a coincidence etc. they could also add rare hair colors like purple and such which a killer is more likely to pick as their wig color. (because irl if a clown mugs you you're more likely to remember the rainbow wig and white face-paint than their real eye color or anything else that could point to them once they take the clown stuff off)

Kayleigh was cheating on her husband with Apple. her husband suspected she was cheating on her and hired someone to stalk her and tell him if she was or not. he discovered that she was and was incredibly upset, and even became abusive. Kayleigh and Apple made a plan, and Apple killed Kayleigh. Apple was arrested on suspicion of murder, and some time after being arrested, ended her own life. when questioned, she claimed her reasoning for Murdering Kayleigh was so that 'they could be together, even after death."
My brother in Christ, every single time you have arrested someone you ask the same question about it not counting and then it counts when you hand it in. EVERY SINGLE TIME.

I had a romantic killer in my playthrough, and every victim always had a Dove+ match with this same girl - yet it somehow WASN'T her??? I ended up figuring out an initial and just going through the whole city registry cause the game gave me zero leads and I had to brute force it. remember to always taste test the door knob for fingie prints and dance around the victim's corpse to look for evidence, a crumpled paper anagram is extremely easy, a business card with fingerprints gives the killer away, the heart ones tend to have lipstick on the floor, so you have a fingerprint to go off, but I find those the trickiest.
Stalker + lipstick killer is easy, you know their first initial, get their fingerprints from the writing or the lipstick, and search each and everyone on gov database who had that same first letter until you find a matching fingerprint
Also, a big tip is to reload the save if you can't find any evidence because sometimes key evidence does not generate but it will spawn in above the body if you restart
I think I've seen with another player that If the case says "unsolved" you can try again. So you could go back and confirm Piper's face and try again...
For shame, you skipped to the last day Kayleigh was alive, saw her arrive home and then went backwards in time to before she arrived home and decided she was lying...you need to go forwards in time.
You have to locate a Pawn shop in the city and speak to the clerk. Tell them you want to buy something, then in the menu to buy an item there will also be a tab for selling anything you are carrying. If you don't know where the Pawn shop is, have the city map pulled up while exploring, Pawn shops will be given a symbol that looks like a stack of books.
Twitch chat itself isn't playing, all that's happening is that the game takes the names of people and swapping them out with people that are in the twitch chat
you failed the brief case case because it specified who did your mark give the case to, your original mark was the guy you already has from the initial exchange. He gave it to another guy, who then gave it to piper, so the white guy who delivered the case to piper would have been the answer to solve the case, not piper
