I don't know if its a type but sometimes you have a player that only goes for forest moons just to gather beehives. And the one that goes in with a shovel just to hunt the monsters. (Also all hail Jerald the goldfish. He is my only friend when im at that damn monitor 5 runs in a row) (If you have an overwatch without mic but with a transmission thing they can still be useful.)
Great video! I really liked the way you handled this difficult level. Your high level playing skills are impressive! I'm looking forward to the next video to see what happens next. Keep up the good work!
The last resort. Someone who relies on others in order to win, and will typically grab one or two pieces of loot and then call it a day. They don't feel much rush or importance in gathering loot, and will often act more silly, yet wont continue to be goofy when playing with those who dislike it like a troll would. They usually care more about having fun than winning, and rarely reach high moons. These players, however, have the ability to do great in the game if they so choose, and will probably carry your team when absolutely needed, like if everybody else dies.
I would like to add another type of player "Spender" He spends all the crews money on the most useless things if you have that suit for 900 available he will buy it, just because he can... Whenever you start the game as host, choose the moon beforehand, you might not have the money to go to titan very soon
my favourite moment in lethal me- "oh its rainy" friend- "a little more than rainy" me- "ooh its flooded" firend- "a little more than flooded" me- "huh what does tha-" gets struck by lightning my friends stays as overwatch on harder moons but this happened on experimentation
one time me and my friend were playing on stormy, i picked up a bee hive from the back of the ship. when he was dead he said that lightning would strike me. less than a tenth of a second later im struck by lightning and the run was lost.
My best moment so far was playing with new players. > main door was a bust, so we went to fire exit >(nearby activity detected) >"I'll check it out guys, if I'm not back in five seconds, I'm probably dead, so head back to the ship" >immediately get my neck snapped inside the door >spectating them >"...uhhh" >"I think... I think that went badly" >"this is my first time playing, he said head back, right?.." They made me proud by remembering my instructions on how to collect the hive I got on the ship before leaving 🥲
I’m a carrier but the reason I take things back to the ship the whole mission is because often what happens is players get ahead of themselves and focus more on exploring and finding new loot than carrying it to the ship, 9/10 most die in the facility or have to be teleported back at night time when it’s risky to go back to main or fire exit for the loot , I make it soo that in a pinch if everyone needs to get teleported out late at night , all the loot is already collected and my team can leave the planet if it’s become too dangerous, and also I’m scared of going inside.
@@PurtyPurple if I had a nickel everytime I went to the backrooms in lethal Company, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice
I'm that person! I run in with nothing, favourite is inverse teleporter. And 9 times out of 10, I end up killing myself to save someone else or because I'm alone with 20 monsters or a troll kills me
@@dantehixrabbit1111 a pal and I discovered through extensive and thorough scientific research (hitting each other) that the Yield sign does more damage than the stop sign or shovel. So whatever gets me closer to one faster for more "testing" is always the right choice.
We also have the brave but dumb person. They tell you “let me cook”, bring 3 beehives back to base(which is nice) but also brings back 2 unfortunate souls caught in the crossfire. They attempt to kill anything they see including dogs and 9 times out of 10, they die. B tier they’re cool but will never learn to scan for mines and will incur tons of penalties if their bodies aren’t retrieved.
Oh my God, you literally described my average experience playing lethal company! Although I might be brave, I'm not a dumbo. But _constantly_ I bring bad luck to the team. I don't know what it is, but whoever goes with me will most likely die in a comedic way. Like, I remember yesterday I played on vow, we had some girl on the monitor, I found a stop sign and 2 other guys went into a large room (that big room with the ladder and huge hole) Anyways, I heard one guy yell muffled, I sprint towards him and I *see that he was grabbed by the snare flee, I slap him with the stop sign, *But.* he went infront of me while I was hitting the flee, and I accidentally killed him. I spent a good minute grieving over his body, and the other guy just walks in and asks "the fuck did you 2 do?" I see the slime behind him, and I tried to call out to him that it was behind him, and he just walks back into it while saying "what OH-" and it cut off, which made me yell even more because I got 2 of my crew killed. Anyways, they get teleported, and I go out on my way to bring everything back to the ship, and I mean EVERYTHING. Their items, and the loot they found as a punishment. Anyways, it was 9pm before i made it back onto the ship, and I got everything from the main and fire exit. Somehow I didn't die while I was maneuvering the giants. Anyways we had a good laugh since I became a voice actor 3 times. 1st time when I killed the guy with a shovel, 2nd when the other guy died to the slime, and the 3rd when I was getting chased by the giant when I was out of sprint
I can usually get 3 hives back safely (as long as everyone is a mile away), and I do attempt to kill anything (learning experience) and why can dogs do 180s while they're sliding???
number one most frustrating moment in this game for me was when i CARRIED a whole team from the ship, saving them from turrets countless times, locking up monsters, and generally popping off. then at the end of the day, the guy who i saved the most had the GUAL to say "yall ever feel like this game is too easy sometimes"
Noob is totally S tier- 100% agree. I loved starting the game, walking in with zero idea how to play- getting destroyed each time. Now that I've played a bunch, it can get a little boring having everyone knowing how to survive. There's something refreshing going from a crack team that use code words, are extremely cautious, know how to survive- to a team with a few people getting more and more paranoid walking the halls, freaking out when the flashlight goes off then running into a mine in panic- killing us both.
Overwatch/Ship Duty main here. I absolutely love this job, the best part aside from being alive and keeping your teammates alive is hearing them scream over the phone when there’s no hope
@carsontodd2443 but also knowing that if you did hit the big red button and actually saved them, theyd ask why you did that and say they didn't need you to and then run off into the sunset only to die to the exact enemy you previously saved them from minutes later.
I believe one left behind that is kinda rare is the soundboard guy (AKA Human* Boombox) usually playing either morale boosting music or hilarious stuff. I just love it when I come across this type of player
had a player who sound boarded the whole jester winding song. It was scary, we ran out as fast as possible and he comes out the door laughing with the music playing off of his character.
You literally described me with the comedic relief. I will say “You reckon I can make this jump?” And then fall on purpose because funny. Then I’ll just pull up TikTok and hope my friend got a good clip for their video lol
I do that when im playing mods with my irl friends and they love it. we play with skin walker mod and they've said they heard me screaming the gummy bear song lyrics in a panic. makes my day
I like to occasionally use a fun mod that makes the game more funny (i.e Skinwalker mod as it makes every monster use a random voiceline youve said while on the moon, just makes it more terrifying knowing that you cant even trust hearing a voice anymore)
@@All_At_Once09 Thunderstore, it's under the same people who do CurseForge (one of the bigger Minecraft modding applications) All under the big name Overwolf. If you're just starting out getting new mods, I suggest just looking for QOL Client side (meaning the server owner doesn't need them for it to work for you) mods that'll help your experience be smoother and more enjoyable, and if you're wanting more than 4 people do MoreCompany (it's the mod you see with all the customizable stuff if you've seen it). Other than that you're just getting into personalizing for your own experience and honestly, while having all these mods can be fun, they'll slowly break what Lethal Company is as a game. Like having a personalized slot for a walkie and flashlight, part of the game's fun is the limited inventory. So my biggest suggestion is, pick what you think you need, not what "Is the best" or suggested by all your friends. And a small fun fact, I know of at least one mod right now that you don't even need downloaded to see, Mimics, won't say what they do if you haven't seen them, but they're... something.
As a early looter that flexes into Carrier when the pile gets too large, its good to have a diverse roster to keep actions grounded. 4 braves can do some crazy stuff, or just loose all the loot at the end of the day
i think you forgot the guy that talks once when they are on the ship and once you land they go into the facility. you will never hear them and they never make it back to the ship. (almost like brave without the skill)
My crew is surprisingly really different and here are some archetypes this video could/may have: (might cross into some already) The Leader archetype: No walkies, but gives team morale just overall gives pep talk. Even if it looks grim, will encourage verbally where/when to get in fire exists. Doesn't even need to be a pro The Silent type: Has a mic, doesn't talk, just walks around checking every corridor, acts like a NPC. a bit of a mystery bag The Hider: Runs at first sight, doesn't even tell anyone, often being back at the ship Horrible at directions: Gets lost consistently, despite 2 rooms away from spawn. When team wipe everyone watches them get lost. God forbid them on the walkie "go left, no your other left, go right no i mean left" There's also the fighter: shovel only and just fights monsters
this list is missing a very memorable teammate variant, the saboteur, they are like the troller but the second you land they either kill every teammate and take off or take off when everyone left the ship and then jump off the ship so that no items save. Their pure existence is to make your time worse and is by far the worst teammate you can encounter
We're funny SOMETIMES. I remember when I was with randoms and we were short 14 credits. I just murdered two others, then the last guy and I beat each other to death with shovels. We ended up dying at the same time and lost by 4 credits 💀
@@hehehuhu5680 i don't think you count since you guys were going to lose anyway, I'm talking about the people who intentionally do their best to ruin your run
might I introduce the concept of the confident noob. Barely knows how to play the game, ends up in a titan lobby, hilarity ensues. My favorite moment is from one of those kinds of players being chased by ghost girl around 6pm on outside titan. Dude starts screaming and runs outside. I watch on the monitor as he jukes 3 dogs, screams at a mimic to "help him" before running back to the ship and having his head explode before he can close the door. Fucking legend.
Meatshield type of player is also worth mentioning, they always take the damage on themselfs, they see beehive they distract the bees, they see a monster and teammate with weapon, they go and act like a shield or distraction, the only 2 downsides they have is they stick togheter and hardly go on their own and sometimes they manage to get hit themself by shovels and shotgun hits from their teammates.
oh I am like that when I am not the one with the shovel, like hey im gonna bait him so you get it done, or when no one has a weapon, I tell them to run and attempt my best to escape a chase
I speak from recent experience for a new E rank partner, the one who never teleports a snare flea caprive on the grounds of "He's Probably A Mimic." I have told him dozens of times they only spawn on paid moons. He continues ro ignore me.
our team has a warrior class the guys who will literally hit everything and everyone with the shovel in a blind rage including his own teammates he def last one standing for better or for worse
You forgot the AFK, stays on ship staring at wall whole day, ignores his walkie and the terminals because too complicated, locks you outside at night with 5 dogs after you struggled sneaking the whole way with 100lbs of loot.
It can range from A to C, D A - The one that safely get the bee hive to the side of the ship C - gets the hive back but sometimes also lure the bees into the ship D - somehow out run the bees and create an unstoppable death swarm
I think the "clumsy" would also be very much a real deal, the one employee who always falls to the pit, steps on mines, dies to turrets and hits other employees with the shovel when trying to kill monsters (that might just be me)
Brave + Looter Fusion is great, especially because they often just end up in a locked room without a key, or spawn in and fall to their death instantly. If they don't die though, they usually get a lot of the loot in the back of the facility.
S+ the jack of all trades. The one man crew. The guy who can do everything...including comedic relief. They are a ultra rare species, but after playing with one, you are now a pro
You've definitely forgotten about the "rich man" type. He fills all the slots with equipment, a walkie-talkie and a flashlight are his eternal companions. He will not enter the complex without these things, and you can easily determine his presence in the team when you open the red cabinet and see a stock of 10-20 flashlights and walkie-talkies. His unique feature is that he leaves all this equipment in the complex. Every time he finds a loot, he leaves a piece of his equipment on the floor. The Lootbags adore him. Honestly, it makes sense. You still get 500+ from every day on titan, why not spend it all? The company is not interested in your expenses, it is only interested in the loot you bring, and a guy with full equipment has a higher chance of finding loot than a guy without equipment. I think he's A tier. Oh, and that's me.
You forget about 1 player type Brave Shovel This guy takes shovel and shovel only, they run in and start to atack every monster they will find, they will keep the team safe or die trying. They downside is that they always needs a shovel, sometimes they will oder 4 shovels because they need the shovel and 3 more shovels in case they will die and lose thier shovel.
I am both the looter and decorator, ever since I had my 2000 quota stare moment I started decorating the ship and grinding Titan. Pray that I get to my 5000 goal 🙏
This made me feel better as a overwatch/carrier player since I ended up with a solid A tier teammate score. And yeah, the coward theory for the carrier definitely has some merit. But I also know if I go in, I'm likely going to die either from losing my way and ending up dying to a monster or by failing to complete one of those simple jumps. And the jumps mean a penalty if we don't have the teleporter and I feel bad about my terrible survival skils. That's why I turn to more 'support' roles. And it turns out, I am pretty good at relaying information as a 'man in the van,' chair guy, etc. If I'm not that person, then I am the carrier so others can focus on finding loot or not dying due to being over encumbered during the dogs time. I also like acting as a storage manager, making sure that the pile for quota and the back-up loot pile don't mix. (The back-up loot pile is for when we don't get enough loot during a quota week and the quota pile is so that we know when we have enough and what to bring to the counter more easily.)
I'm a mix of Overwatch, Walkie-Talkie, and Carrier. I make sure at least one other person has a walkie since I'm always on the console to control doors and kill turrets/mines. I'm always switching every 4-5 seconds and alerting whoever has a walkie the moment a spec of red even pops up on the screen. If I'm feeling confident in my team (roughly 300+ quota) I'll occasionally leave the ship to bring items back and forth since I know they'll spend most of the time inside to get loot out. Overall, one of the best ways to play the game!
Same. For me a big part is that if I get more than a couple rooms into the facility I am never finding my way back out. Also my spacial awareness and navigation skills take a nose dive whenever I'm scared. I am the Minimap, it is me.
I’d consider myself as a tunnel rat which is a cross of a brave and a looter, i run in as fast as possible with no flashlight, always using my sprint with no enemies around and usually die a horrific way by a flea
I feel like I am every player on this list, I always take shortcuts to get all the loot out, shovel to kill everything, mods to mod, funny by playing with dogs, walkie and ship player is my main, everything here is definitely me
The carrier and Brave can sometimes be the same person. Sometimes, the best part of the game is just experiencing the environment while you sneak past dogs and hide from giants as you transport stuff to the ship
as an overwatch and carryer i love to parody the voicelines of an administrator from Team Fortress 2 on my team "ALERT 5 MINUTES LEFT FOR THE MISSION. FIVE MINUTES LEFT FOR THE MISSION" or when everyone is dead or quota is ruined "YOU'VE FAILED." *blasting TF2 fail music when everyone thrown to the space*
EXACTLY but i prefer to be as an grumpy mission control from Deep Rock Galactic Shouting on my teammates about the quota goal or shutting them up if they starting to play along and yelling on some exspensive scrap "WE'RE RICH"
Few variants that also deserve recognition: -musicians. They use voice binds to play music through their mic, which is 50/50 funny and useful. Funny because it gives proper atmosphere and useful because they are loud so your teammates can find him and stick together in case of an Inversed teleporter. B-tier Because while they're mildly useful, they're also a death sentence near dogs -trolls: they wait until everyone leaves the ship, then they start it and leave the game, F-tier -the radar. Equipped with tons of mods to detect nearby entities. Very useful to warn people that something is near, but acts like a schizo in certain cases. They can however warn people if something serious has spawned like a ghost girl. A-tier
I would be Overwatch, but my friends never let me when I play with them. The problem is that when they’re dead and you’re still alive, it doesn’t matter how much you helped them or whose lives you saved. They will always tell you that somehow, if you had just gone in with them, you could have saved them.
security is close, but there’s actually a space between the Security and the Brave, the (what i call) duelist. They get a shovel, or really any melee weapon and just charge into the facility looking for a fight and most often or not, they somehow manage to come out on top. I would just so happen to fall under this category
Having just started playing this game with friends, I already found my spot on this list - Brave 100% described me. I wanna get in, find the cool shit (I might be a little Looter as well, but Brave clicked more), scanning lets you see well enough so why waste room with a flashlight? That won't help me with the quota, I don't have room for that. I LOVE the inverse tele, saves me having to run to the building. This isn't a horror game, it's a loot goblin rush for me. One of my perma teammates is an Overwatch though, and it's super handy. Tells us where to go, if there's items nearby, if there's ENEMIES nearby, if it's getting late, and deals with the map and body teleport recovery. Even when we don't currently have a walkie talkie, there's the short message signal thing (don't know the actual name, green text on screen) that he has to basically speak shorthand at us with. Best of all, we never fully wipe cuz he's in the ship. The other teammates haven't quite fallen into a role yet, but they spook easy and it's great. I've startled them before just by walking at them from the darkness or waiting for them to round the corner to me just standing in the hall waiting.
based on descriptions, I'm a looter. I get lost if I go much further. I fall often, once had a guy switch to my perspective as I said "I don't have to carry you" and just dumped his body on the ground. I've definitely came in clutch and other times stared directly at turrets. I enjoy lethal company
E tier: The hacker that joins the lobby, that doesn't take damage and has infinate stamina and u don't even realize it until you spectate them, and they be ruining all fun for the rest.
I would say im a mix of the mail man (carrier) and brave, the inverse teleporter is my favourite and I would rather go in with no items so I can hold more scrap :)
I haven't played Lethal Company yet(waiting for a sale), but if I'd be playing I'll probably be some other type of player - the "Scout" or "Boba Fett". My main item would be a Jetpack. Yeah, it's sucks at all things possible, but with that item I'll be able to see the danger that comes from a far to let my team know about it before they try going in there. Also, aside from that I'll be able to grab attention of Giants and Dogs, to make sure, Looters and Carriers would make it with all items without any issues. But that doesn't mean i would go and spend our money on jetpack right away, I'll go in with the team as well. And if something goes wrong, I would gladly give one of my teammate a Jetpack(let's say, if some crew is a higher rank than all the others) I really wish for Jetpack to be more useful or at least a good pick
Bruh guys there's like tons of guides on how to fly on a jetpack properly, for example, a guide by "Wurps" about that was pretty good. And despite that, nothing is supposed to be easy, right? I'm playing TF2 and Rocket Jumping is the most satisfying thing to do once you learn it the hard way. Same here, just make notes upon every mistake and get used to it.
I always want to go into the building but I have an irresistible urge to carry items back to the ship specifically on Titan because i know for a fact that if i don't we won't be able to bring half of it down by the time monsters spawn
Are there a lot of friendly players in Lethal Company? I'm a new player and I don't have any friends who want to play with me, so I'm playing alone. I heard that Lethal company is very enjoyable with crew and I will definitely try it. Unfortunately, I will have to play alone or with random people, and in a game where teamwork is key (drg, l4d, dbd, etc.), it would be nice to meet wholesome and nice players.
Lethal company has a great community as far as I've seen. People are usually laid back and don't mind as long as you aren't supper annoying. That's what I've noticed in my ~75 hours of playing anyway.
100 hours speaking, you'll find some jerks but that's the minority, I had many groups I got really attached to and played with for 5 hours straight while being all nice to each other, laughing around one thing I recommend is avoid doing steam contacts or discord, usually you'll add them, and barely ever speak to them ever again wich is more sad than anything overall playing with randoms is fun guaranteed almost doesn't matter who you fall onto
I'm definitely a looter and sometimes a brave. I don't always use the inverse teleporter or even buy it all the time but it is always fun to do it once in awhile :]
Don't forget the warrior class. Essentially a higher-skill bodyguard. The person who can kill most anything with a shovel, and only dies to giants and sneaky coilheads. Never played with one, but I have definitely seen them. Also, the decorator is a lot of fun if their spending is done in measure.
You should add a hero player category the dude that takes one for the team he'll stare at the coil head the entire game and not move an inch so nobody else has to deal with it or when they get attacked by a monster without a shovel they step on a landmine to take them down with him overall just a player that does anything for the company
i answered s at first question, because this game is so good and funny when you dont know anything about it, and when someone new plays it i just start to remember how much joy i had by playing it at first time, when everything was so mysterious and interesting, like, studying what around, collecting tapes with info and encounter monsters for first time, its just too cool.
Btw i feel like there is 1 more role, the scouter, dude is constantly checking surroundings to make sure some bracken doesn't kidnap someone, or something worse. They will 100% get haunted by the little girl, but atleast they'll tell you when something bad shows up
I am quite a mixing player. We have more or less changing roles (depending on the group i play with) I think i am a looter? Try to get in fast, usually use the fireexit , that the others wont use. try to speedrun the ever living shit out of it xD But still try not to hard, so i die sometimes. I kinda wanna have others hear my scream in the distance when i get wiped x,D
@@Basicx32i got my "the first loot must be out before anyone touches any door on of the facility" going for me already xD I think the way this game works is like pro=speedrunner 😂 Maybe try minimum quota 🤔
2:20 calm down man. I am not even interested in it. No need to call me out like that. Just doin my shovel 1v1s with everything. The comedian or troll usually gets it. But something is mixed up. The Brave one doesn't specify exist. It is just usually the looter
The opposite of Needs a Map is Compass head/Completionist. He remembers surface of each planet down to a little shrub and despite it being randomly generated you have a feeling that he knows the interior as well. Usually buys a spray can and marks dead ends. He brings good loot as he cleans every area that he explored. If you are lost he will always find you. He won't necessarily help you if you are attacked by monster though. Also usually he either dies to the monster or explores down to the last second.
You're the worst one of all. I have friends who are trolls and it's funny even if you're the victim, but it gets very repetitive to a degree is gets annoying especially if I want to get a high quota which makes the experience not very enjoyable.
@@rustar3362 yeah same issue here one of my friends do this its funny at first when they lure us to a mine and kill everybody but it just gets annoying when doing it more then once
"Where would you put a noob player on this tier list" me: S tier "That's incorrect, it's actually S tier" me: ... I don't make videos so I don't care about content but it's always a lot of fun playing with someone new.
As the Looter, I also can say, I say my team give me all stuff because I can bring all to the ship immediately, or just bring to the ship all stuff that was stayed in the exit. This always help my team stay alive and have quota because I and stuff in the ship. Also after 2-4 runs to base with full of items in every run I stay inside the ship and watching for my team.
"where would you rank a new player on this tierlist?" me: S TIER! S TIER! THEY ARE THE MOST FUN TO PLAY WITH "Thats incorrect." me: oh... "Its actually S TIER." me: OH!!
My playstyle is usually sprinting in, grab quick loot, bring it back to the ship, play the carrier and transport all the items left outside, then sit on the computer. It allows me to get in, get some loot, garuntee we make money, save people, etc. and then sometimes I just become one with the pack and get inside and have fun
I’m a carrier, honestly I AM SCARED OF MONSTERS. However, I do go in on the start of the game to help and then I just get the stuff to them ship and at endgame and I sit at the ship and in case anything happens I help or clutch and start the ship. ❤
My extent of decoratoring is religiously moving the terminal to the space where beds are at the start, so that it's right next to the main radar screen, cameras and teleporter buttons
This game is still a lot of fun, especially with mods. We've been playing it with a group of like 7 friends for a while now, and the game *STILL* is a blast. Such a low-cost game and yet so many hours of enjoyment.
One you forgot to mention was the teamkiller - using shotguns and shovels to kill other players, or ring the bell / make noise to cause the boss to eat the other player. F tier
There was this one guy who joined our game named Jtmoney he threw out EVERYTHING in our ship (thankfully just spare flashlights walkies and shovels) teleported me in while I was moving in stuff and told me to look at him. Then asked whats this? then started the ship. And immediately left But it doesnt end there. The host himself, has invincibility mod and he had some goldbars on him somehow. So despite being left behind he still had his loot and we still met quota.
I’m some kinda hybrid between the brave and the looter. I go in, pick a door and explore it all the way to the end grabbing everything, before moving on. I will be in there first, no items on hand, exploring the depths as soon as the ship touches the ground.
The savior (I am always this person): They will attract attention to them, so you can escape, they will get supplys you cant carry, they pick up your body, and your loot, they would die before you would (most of the time), and lastly, they give you their equitment when you lost yours.
Taking this video and part 2 into account, I'm a mixture of the looter, carrier, overwatch, beekeeper, and jack of all when in groups. If things get dicey or if solo, I bring out the Pro/EOTM side. I like being a carry, but not by assertion. I enjoy carrying when it comes down to the wire which is why I'll initially play the more supportive roles and only go tryhard if I have to.
I love the inverse teleporter 😭. Its more fun if you get someone else to inverse with you because its kinda a minigame to find eachother inside the building and is funny when you get inversed next to eachother
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had “the guy in the chair” just do nothing. Not too long ago, I was suffocating and when I was spectating, he’d just been watching
As the guy in the chair, I gotta bump Mr Walkie Talkie up because when the Looter team inverse teleports in, he’s the one who usually finds them and actually gives me a way to communicate with the team inside
Oh I’m 100% a looter here, I’ve just recently realized how much I don’t care about the equipment, whenever someone offers me to take a walk or talkie I’m always just like “nah I’m good I need more space for loot”. My first actions while the ship is landing is: jump off in the air -> leave everyone behind -> get like 5 close items from a fire exit -> come back for deep loot -> clear the missed items in main entrance -> carry everything back. And so when I play with my friends it just feels like I barely slip into the pro category, because they don’t play the game that much, so I can just carry them to higher quotas, which feels incredibly rewarding, but at the moments where I desperately need some help, because I don’t buy shovels, and especially if I die, I just know it’s over. So I also love finding high quota runs, where I can just play with better players than me, and just try to make as much of what I can as possible
I'm a mix of a looter and a carrier, I always head straight into the building and get as much stuff as i can and then take it back to the ship and then continue getting stuff from the front of the building to the ship
Part 2 is now out! Join the discord: discord.gg/cHn78QjwkW
I don't know if its a type but sometimes you have a player that only goes for forest moons just to gather beehives.
And the one that goes in with a shovel just to hunt the monsters.

I would like to add another type of player
"Spender" He spends all the crews money on the most useless things if you have that suit for 900 available he will buy it, just because he can... Whenever you start the game as host, choose the moon beforehand, you might not have the money to go to titan very soon

my favourite moment in lethal
me- "oh its rainy"
friend- "a little more than rainy"
me- "ooh its flooded"
firend- "a little more than flooded"
me- "huh what does tha-" gets struck by lightning
my friends stays as overwatch on harder moons but this happened on experimentation
Ur the bad weatherman
one time me and my friend were playing on stormy, i picked up a bee hive from the back of the ship. when he was dead he said that lightning would strike me. less than a tenth of a second later im struck by lightning and the run was lost.
My best moment so far was playing with new players.
> main door was a bust, so we went to fire exit
>(nearby activity detected)
>"I'll check it out guys, if I'm not back in five seconds, I'm probably dead, so head back to the ship"
>immediately get my neck snapped inside the door
>spectating them
>"...uhhh"
>"I think... I think that went badly"
>"this is my first time playing, he said head back, right?.."
They made me proud by remembering my instructions on how to collect the hive I got on the ship before leaving 🥲
You've been... Thunderstruck!
(sorry just had to)
How do you even beat stormy? Seems impossible.
Im either the looter or the brave, depending on the map....
im the terminal guy, and 90% of times I have to bring the loot to the ship bc everybody died
That's history of failure on Titan, as dog ate us all. Shame, as we had a lot of good loot.
Yes yes it’s always a scary thing to be on titan after 3pm 😂

Thanks king 👑
you're forgetting about the guy who jumps off the ship and dies before it's even landed
Haha that’s funny
Did that once, but instead of dying from fall damage I got pinned by the ship and sent through the map. It was strange.

I'm that person! I run in with nothing, favourite is inverse teleporter. And 9 times out of 10, I end up killing myself to save someone else or because I'm alone with 20 monsters or a troll kills me

@@Lunarcheese72 the yield sign also weighs the most out of any other weapon so you'll be moving slower with it
We also have the brave but dumb person. They tell you “let me cook”, bring 3 beehives back to base(which is nice) but also brings back 2 unfortunate souls caught in the crossfire. They attempt to kill anything they see including dogs and 9 times out of 10, they die. Oh that's me
They're S-tier to me, they're usually genuinely funny people from my experience
Oh my God, you literally described my average experience playing lethal company!
Although I might be brave, I'm not a dumbo. But _constantly_ I bring bad luck to the team. I don't know what it is, but whoever goes with me will most likely die in a comedic way.
Like, I remember yesterday I played on vow, we had some girl on the monitor, I found a stop sign and 2 other guys went into a large room
(that big room with the ladder and huge hole)
Anyways, I heard one guy yell muffled, I sprint towards him and I *see that he was grabbed by the snare flee, I slap him with the stop sign, *But.* he went infront of me while I was hitting the flee, and I accidentally killed him.
I spent a good minute grieving over his body, and the other guy just walks in and asks "the fuck did you 2 do?"
I see the slime behind him, and I tried to call out to him that it was behind him, and he just walks back into it while saying "what OH-" and it cut off, which made me yell even more because I got 2 of my crew killed.
Dont save him then
Let sonic swim, no floaties lol
Tp that guy in. See what happens to him unmonitored

I’ve got a banging video coming out from that mod 🫡
Where are people getting these mods (I haven’t checked myself)

4 braves can do some crazy stuff, or just loose all the loot at the end of the day
We play with 5-8 Brave ones with some crazy modes for difficulty and only use the inverse teleporter. It's a lot of fun!

Omg so true, just don’t see them for the whole run
My crew is surprisingly really different and here are some archetypes this video could/may have: (might cross into some already)
The Leader archetype: No walkies, but gives team morale just overall gives pep talk. Even if it looks grim, will encourage verbally where/when to get in fire exists. Doesn't even need to be a pro
The Silent type: Has a mic, doesn't talk, just walks around checking every corridor, acts like a NPC. a bit of a mystery bag
The Hider: Runs at first sight, doesn't even tell anyone, often being back at the ship
Horrible at directions: Gets lost consistently, despite 2 rooms away from spawn. When team wipe everyone watches them get lost. God forbid them on the walkie "go left, no your other left, go right no i mean left"
There's also the fighter: shovel only and just fights monsters
The Manager: makes sure everyone has walkies and flashlights. A bit pushy about it, but they usually have good intentions.

Dude starts screaming and runs outside. I watch on the monitor as he jukes 3 dogs, screams at a mimic to "help him" before running back to the ship and having his head explode before he can close the door. Fucking legend.
bro had the plot armor but dropped it last second
Meatshield type of player is also worth mentioning, they always take the damage on themselfs, they see beehive they distract the bees, they see a monster and teammate with weapon, they go and act like a shield or distraction, the only 2 downsides they have is they stick togheter and hardly go on their own and sometimes they manage to get hit themself by shovels and shotgun hits from their teammates.
oh I am like that when I am not the one with the shovel, like hey im gonna bait him so you get it done, or when no one has a weapon, I tell them to run and attempt my best to escape a chase

I speak from recent experience for a new E rank partner, the one who never teleports a snare flea caprive on the grounds of "He's Probably A Mimic."
I have told him dozens of times they only spawn on paid moons.
He continues ro ignore me.
our team has a warrior class the guys who will literally hit everything and everyone with the shovel in a blind rage including his own teammates he def last one standing for better or for worse
Honestly, the more decorations in the ship should increase item spawns that would be cool and could extend runs.
In my opinion they should do this and also make it so loot increases as quote increases but more monsters spawn aswell
@ThatOneKid5323 exactly. because as of now there's no ending so there's always gonna be a point when you cannot do anything.
You forgot the AFK, stays on ship staring at wall whole day, ignores his walkie and the terminals because too complicated, locks you outside at night with 5 dogs after you struggled sneaking the whole way with 100lbs of loot.

Gotta get the bees
It can range from A to C, D
A - The one that safely get the bee hive to the side of the ship
C - gets the hive back but sometimes also lure the bees into the ship
D - somehow out run the bees and create an unstoppable death swarm

I think the "clumsy" would also be very much a real deal, the one employee who always falls to the pit, steps on mines, dies to turrets and hits other employees with the shovel when trying to kill monsters (that might just be me)
You missed the “Hero”, where they sacrifice themselves to save others, even if others aren’t in real danger
Banger, defiantly missed that
Brave + Looter Fusion is great, especially because they often just end up in a locked room without a key, or spawn in and fall to their death instantly. If they don't die though, they usually get a lot of the loot in the back of the facility.
S+ the jack of all trades. The one man crew. The guy who can do everything...including comedic relief. They are a ultra rare species, but after playing with one, you are now a pro
Best of all i have two of those
the employee that's always appreciating the scenery on each moon (me)
The romantic employee
You forget about 1 player type
Brave Shovel
This guy takes shovel and shovel only, they run in and start to atack every monster they will find, they will keep the team safe or die trying.
The decorator section aged well!
Sometimes, the best part of the game is just experiencing the environment while you sneak past dogs and hide from giants as you transport stuff to the ship
as an overwatch and carryer i love to parody the voicelines of an administrator from Team Fortress 2 on my team
"ALERT 5 MINUTES LEFT FOR THE MISSION. FIVE MINUTES LEFT FOR THE MISSION"
or when everyone is dead or quota is ruined
"YOU'VE FAILED." *blasting TF2 fail music when everyone thrown to the space*
EXACTLY
but i prefer to be as an grumpy mission control from Deep Rock Galactic
Shouting on my teammates about the quota goal or shutting them up if they starting to play along and yelling on some exspensive scrap "WE'RE RICH"
You forgot "The killer" its the guy that hits anybody with a shovel and ends up killing someone which ruins the game.
Few variants that also deserve recognition:
-musicians. They use voice binds to play music through their mic, which is 50/50 funny and useful. Funny because it gives proper atmosphere and useful because they are loud so your teammates can find him and stick together in case of an Inversed teleporter. B-tier Because while they're mildly useful, they're also a death sentence near dogs
-trolls: they wait until everyone leaves the ship, then they start it and leave the game, F-tier
-the radar. Equipped with tons of mods to detect nearby entities. Very useful to warn people that something is near, but acts like a schizo in certain cases. They can however warn people if something serious has spawned like a ghost girl. A-tier
what about the encyclopedia player? the one who knows nearly everything about the game be it lore, monster facts or just general knowledge?
Banger idea.
I call them shovel warrior
I prefer to call us Shovel Knights or Krieger's
As a certified carrier, I am indeed terrified of dogs 😭

I would say im a mix of the mail man (carrier) and brave, the inverse teleporter is my favourite and I would rather go in with no items so I can hold more scrap :)
I was the chill one who went in with absolutely nothing, but played with dumbasses so my tag was always low
And if something goes wrong, I would gladly give one of my teammate a Jetpack(let's say, if some crew is a higher rank than all the others)
I really wish for Jetpack to be more useful or at least a good pick
I'm telling you right now, you're gonna be doing nothing but dying with that jetpack
bro think he can handle the jetpack
its $10? and it wasnt even on sale during the winter sale
it could actually be really useful if you are a carrier, you can carry small items to the ship extremelly quickly and safely wich saves a lot of time
Bruh guys there's like tons of guides on how to fly on a jetpack properly, for example, a guide by "Wurps" about that was pretty good.
It can be a mixed bag but usually it's pretty chill.
i can play w you sometime if you want
Come try joining the discord we got heaps of friendly people wanting to play
100 hours speaking, you'll find some jerks but that's the minority, I had many groups I got really attached to and played with for 5 hours straight while being all nice to each other, laughing around
one thing I recommend is avoid doing steam contacts or discord, usually you'll add them, and barely ever speak to them ever again wich is more sad than anything
overall playing with randoms is fun guaranteed almost doesn't matter who you fall onto
Playing with noobs is so fun, you can teach them and do a bit of trolling at the same time
I'm definitely a looter and sometimes a brave. I don't always use the inverse teleporter or even buy it all the time but it is always fun to do it once in awhile :]
Me and the gang shouls be called beekeepers, if there is a beehive we getting it. We once had like 6 beehives collected during one day

Facts
Btw i feel like there is 1 more role, the scouter, dude is constantly checking surroundings to make sure some bracken doesn't kidnap someone, or something worse. They will 100% get haunted by the little girl, but atleast they'll tell you when something bad shows up
I am quite a mixing player. We have more or less changing roles (depending on the group i play with)
I think i am a looter? Try to get in fast, usually use the fireexit , that the others wont use. try to speedrun the ever living shit out of it xD But still try not to hard, so i die sometimes. I kinda wanna have others hear my scream in the distance when i get wiped x,D
New role for you: the speedrunner
@@Basicx32i got my "the first loot must be out before anyone touches any door on of the facility" going for me already xD
I think the way this game works is like pro=speedrunner 😂
Maybe try minimum quota 🤔
Me and the gang are perfect. Me comms and aircraft carrier, guy1 looter and has huge balls, guy2 lootar has huge balls
"How would you rate a noob?"
S!
"That's incorrect, it's an S"
You see why I can't get behind the idea of love and existence?
I actually had another part discussing Why i’d move him down the list but it didn’t fit well so i removed it, kinda goofy but oh well 😂
as a guy that brings the items to the ship:
how dare you call me out in this way
2:20 calm down man. I am not even interested in it. No need to call me out like that. Just doin my shovel 1v1s with everything. The comedian or troll usually gets it.
But something is mixed up. The Brave one doesn't specify exist. It is just usually the looter
Haha sorry bro, someone’s gotta 1v1 everything
The opposite of Needs a Map is Compass head/Completionist. He remembers surface of each planet down to a little shrub and despite it being randomly generated you have a feeling that he knows the interior as well. Usually buys a spray can and marks dead ends. He brings good loot as he cleans every area that he explored. If you are lost he will always find you. He won't necessarily help you if you are attacked by monster though. Also usually he either dies to the monster or explores down to the last second.
i actually put noob in s tier, because they are really funny when they scream
Bro I ain't gonna lie I'm the troll 100% of the time.
Literally going to the ship just to put a mask on is my go to play.
Maybe I need to reform a little but if I can get the boys laughing I'm doing it. I didn't know quotas went past 1k tbh
@@harrycross7568 Nah bro play like u want to play if everybody enjoys it u do u
Feel like the "Split-Pusher" could be a type of lethal company player. Always goes to the fire exit, never follows the crowd.
"Where would you put a noob player on this tier list"
me: S tier
"That's incorrect, it's actually S tier"
me: ...
"where would you rank a new player on this tierlist?"
me: S TIER! S TIER! THEY ARE THE MOST FUN TO PLAY WITH
"Thats incorrect."
me: oh...
"Its actually S TIER."
me: OH!!
This is so relatable, you got yourself a new sub.
*I like to buy spray paint and make the ship look like sh*t*
And immediately left
But it doesnt end there.
You missed out "The Minesweeper" buys a stun grenade and proceeds to dispose of every landmine they can find.
