At 5:14 when you searched On Beyonder, it said he's a Medical Officer in the Carnation Ward. He was probably trying to stop the bleeding, especially if they were buddies working in the same building.

The irony is in other cases he starts talking to every single random person in the area.. and in this one he has 1 running and the other reporting the murder.. passes in front of him and literally drops the toy in front of him and he never questions why is that person running.... the horse blinders were strong in this case.
I had a murder case in the game had went through my suspects and none of them matched the finger print from the crime scene. Was getting to the point I thought I would have to wait for them to strike again. Was heading into a building and a npc was running after me. Asked for name and prints and bam my killer.

AI: “I think I just got away with the perfect murder. I didn’t leave behind any evidence linking this to me”
Player: “Hey can I have your name & fingerprints?”
AI: “Sure!”
First tip is that On couldn't have shot lilangel because while he had a gun, he had no bullets (otherwise he would've capped Insym) and the 2nd tip is that On said he heard a gunshot, while Insym said the murder weapon was a silenced lazarus. Very cool game.

I recently got shadows of doubt because of this series and the one before it. I’m not very good at it and I’ve already died 3 times, but I still think I’ll keep trying. Glad you’ve kept making SOD content, I look forward to the notification every morning while I draw or study :)

I love how Insym doesn't realize the body got taken away because he closed the case and not because the city cleaned it up haha. The window being fixed, however, that was the city.

i think a feature where killers can buy and use gloves would be interesting, makes cases harder and makes you have to go off other things besides an obvious fingerprint on a item next to the body.
The last murder case I had I got there before the cops but the security door was down so I couldn't get in... when the cops got there the murderer was standing at the crime scene 😂 It was a 30 second murder investigation
Just finished a murder case where when I was arresting the killer they pulled out a sniper rifle and absolutely blasted me all to hell

This is one of my favorite games right now (and project zomboid) the best part is the devs are STILL working on it as a passion project and regularly expand the game.

When you saw that guy standing over the body, another person was running away who was wearing a red and white striped shirt. At the victim's apartment, you were created by their partner who was wearing the same shirt.
With a pile of corpses in the city hall from police carnage, sure you get cases fast 😂

The toy car killer was an intriguing case
Sometimes, it's rare, people do stumble onto murder scenes. Having a weapon and them being there would make anyone assume.

Insym's accusation of convenience right at the start is eerily similar to real stories about how innocent people end up with life in prison or on death row irl. Then decades later another detective gets actual forensics protocols done and proves those people innocent.
Thankfully in this game innocent people aren't being imprisoned like that.

you where there but you jumped down from above, so the shooting possibly shot when you where in the upper area as for seeing, you only seen the person standing on the body, not the actual murder
If you run the largest city and have 750 citizens, the fingerprint system would go all the way to BCV.

Hi Insym! I just want to share some tips that you may or may not remember from your first series, it may come in handy. You can take an object from the crime scene in your inventory and scan it for finger prints from the inventory tab (or any other object for that matter); if you turn off the lights and the flashlight the cams cant see you. This is all i can remember in this moment. Good luck with the cases

But you wasnt there when the Shots happened and if you watch at the time frame someone said you would see them leave the Crime scene

I know it’s difficult for our European friends to understand. However, simply having a gun does not mean you are guilty of a crime. Possession of a gun in most US jurisdictions is not even probable cause for a Police Officer to demand ID unless the officer has reasonable articulable suspicion that the person in question is a prohibited possessor. A sheriffs deputy pulled into my driveway just yesterday, looking for my neighbor, and we had a pleasant interaction and small conversation all with a full sized handgun with 2 spare magazines on my belt. He never even asked me my name.

I don't wanna be rude and I do realize you posted this 7 months ago. But every single GPU i have ever owned after buying a new one, I have sold on Ebay within 5 minutes of posting it for sale for NO LESS than half of what I originally paid. So you basically just asked Insym "Hey can you give me $500-$700 so I can play this video game?
Just something to think about my friend. Hope you ended up buying your own though so you could play.
