I just got me a yellow 76' puch maxi s. Its been sitting outside under a tarp for 25 years and has spark, ccompression, and is going to run! Its not even rusted to shit yet! Got it for $100 as well.

@@RestoCycles I pissed off so many local guys when I got it before them. I only buy bikes with sentimental stories behind them- like the blue puch I dubbed "The Mad Maxi" was a guy's ride to his wedding, but slowly over time he lost interest and let it sit so I bought it in running and driving condition (albeit poorly) and clapped it out with a little too much money's worth of aftermarket parts. Now it does 45MPH and I race fat dudes on Harleys. As for this yellow one- I bought it from a nice old lady a few towns over and she was selling it because she was finally ready to let go of the sentimental value of it. She had bought it for her 14 year old son, and when he grew up he lost interest so it sat under a tarp for years. He's 40 now. Since its stock I'm going to keep it stock (aside from the forks, fuck the maxi stock forks I'm going EBR)

I’m sorry…. I tried to get a video out last week but when editing it I found that the audio switch I’ve to 1 sided so I ended up scraping the video. Been on 2 vacations in the last 3 weeks and have been dealing with other every day life challenges. I promise I’m still working on putting out more content. I also need to finish a customers bike so I can put my time back into my own projects like the Magnum X. forgive me
@@RestoCycles I would rather wait 2 weeks than have a video with only audio on one side. I understand you have a life too and you should go live it, don't worry. I am just all too excited about restoration videos, since I am doing a project on my own, which is taking forever and I am not motivated enough.
@@Jesper_SD thanks for understanding! Yeah I myself went through a moment of lack of motivation. I had a neighbor tell me how much he hated what I do and how annoying I am. Really took some wind out of my sale. However! I’m doing good now and let go of what that jerk said! Started ordering a few parts for the magnum x!

If it was here where I live, you would have so many people supporting you, and thinking wow that's cool an old moped, you don't see them nowadays. Yes they can be loud and obnoxious but I am sure he would much rather have a moped guy then allowed Harley-Davidson guy living nearby. Keep on doing your work, and don't listen to people like him, we need more people like you restoring and maintaining old mopeds. LOVE FROM DENMARK!
