    Your problem sounds like mine! Bought a brand new mr rpm small box last 2 rides…. Would not shift to low. Was riding in high it finally sifted into low then the wheels locked up. Could not get them to free up. Driveshaft wasn’t spinning either like yours wasn’t

      Yes, I honestly think the input shaft is really weak on these transmissions for sure…. We put another one in 🙏.

    Probably tire speed and landing hard making them really bite in on landing will snap them

    I have gearoil in my clutch cover, still havent got into it yet but would this just be a seal? (Hopefully) or am i having bigger problem$$$??

    Have you ever seen the case break right below where the clutch shaft comes out ?? The dealership is telling me that it might be from dirt … I rode it 4 times it’s brand new

    • @prorow784
      @prorow784  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No never have seen that. Something internal must have broken for sure.. I don’t buy the dirt thing. Hopefully they are covering it under warranty.

    I have a issue with my xmr1000 where the front wheels spin in neutral and the rear wheels are locked up and wont spin. I dont want to start tearing into the transmission or if its just a issue with the rear diff. Has anyone ran into this issue or had a similar issue?

  • @cipriandan
    @cipriandan ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Man what a pain having to take off the transmission twice! It makes sense why the wheels would still spin after seeing only the shaft was broken.
    Off topic, do you mind sharing the part number for the Mav belt you run? Are you running belts for matching years, as in a ‘22 Mav belt for a ‘22 Renegade? I’d be looking for a belt for a ‘22 1000 XXC. I did see you run a Mav secondary… would you see an issue running a Mav belt with the stock clutches? Thanks!!!

      It’s a can am #422280367.
      I think it comes on 2013-2020 maverick 1000.
      No it won’t hurt it at all , rock out.

    What would cause the 4x4 sleeve to be too hard for the actuator to engage 4x4?

    • @prorow784

      Honestly not sure… 🤔 maybe could be a bad shaft and or splines.

      Not sure but very possible. I would have a shop or someone with the BUDDS program to check the actuator.

    What all did you have to take out to remove the gearbox? I have a gearbox issue and I don't want to pull the motor out. It looks like you didn't pull it out either.

    • @prorow784
      @prorow784  ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn’t remove the engine.
      Now this is what we call the small transmission (it has 3 little wires that plug into the harness on the right side)
      The larger transmission usually comes in the 1000 models.
      Hope this helps 🏁

    Where did you buy the transmission from?

    • @prorow784
      @prorow784  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the delayed response Michael, honestly I some how overlooked your question.
      I got the new oem transmission from BNR Motorsport in Lima Ohio, they are good people with tons of knowledge on the renegades.

  • @mastercedar8697

    Did your transmissions made loud clunks ? Mine knocks like crazy

    • @thebobcatwizard4547
      @thebobcatwizard4547 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it was really noticeable when just driving slow and doing like a figure 8 motion you could really hear it. Honestly we was hearing the noise probably 30 hours or so before it broke. I think what did it in was when I hit really hard with all four tires coming off a whooped out area.
      I would change the fluid and keep going until it breaks unless the noise is so bad you feel as if it is going to come apart any second . Good luck with it buddy, if you need anything let me know.

    How the hell do you destroy a transmission in one of these machines?

    • @prorow784
      @prorow784  ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol…. Usually it’s because of being on the gas while landing from a jump . Also the constant on and off the throttle from racing takes its toll.
