Thats a "prequel" that i would be interrested in. Not really Star Trek but the first hard steps into the real void. A Expense with a bit more hope or romantic ideas...i miss those.
Looking forward to this! One of the things I enjoyed most about the series 'Enterprise' was that exploration of the early days of Earths venturing into outer space in the Star Trek universe.
@timonsolus At least the Xindi War on Season 3 kinda revitalized it. Granted, fans are thorn about that arc, but for me, it was my personal favourite of Enterprise's. However, when the series REALLY started kicking was in Season 4, with the diplomatic dillemas between the Federations' founding factions (Vulcans, Andorians and Tellarites), how Humans were helping bridge that gap and the imminent threat of the Romulans. Had the writers been allowed to keep steam and make a Season 5, I think they would've pulled an amazing Earth-Romulan War arc and finally wash away the bad taste of the Temporal Cold-War bullshit.
Ok, that is really cool. I like the look of the ship, that it's a great precursor to the eventual 'pizza cutter' design craze and the fx on this video was top notch.
Imagine if they did this instead of Enterprise with its Warp 5 engine. Could have build up to that through the seasons instead of the episodic run of the mill aliens.
It would have been cool if Star Trek/ Enterprise had started with the testing of the first warp engine, the founding of Star Fleet, with no United Federation of Planets yet. Maybe we would see a middle aged Zephram Cochrane, a very young Jonathan Archer ( no Vulcans, yet) and we'd see a slow downgrade of the old Earth defenses like navies and armies, and the build-up of Earth/ space defenses.
I love it! More rocket-style spaceships and other differently shaped starships like the Ring Ship, the NX Delta and the Daedalus-Class, all before the discoid shape of the NX-01 and the Constitution became the standart for Starfleet. Personally? I love these starship ideas. Specially that one freighter with the *three Warp nacelles,* not THAT was just vibing with me! 🤩
I would love to watch a new show about the early warp days. Or at least stuff before the enterprise show takes place. Theres so much potential for great stuff
Looks 100x better than the last 20 years (when the franchise died and weren.t followed any more by me). Looking forward to the full feature. Early exploration is my favorite era, esoecially with realistic earlier tech. That was also one of the strengths of Enterprise. I wish executive meddling werent involved and the ship wouldnt even fly in s01 and an additional 2 seasons were followed depicting theromilan war. And temporal war were replaced by other things (more properly if themporal war were not replacing original planned arcs).
@@randomobserver8168 Sadly yes. Enterprise wouldnt have even been finished in s1 and there would be much interesting character and tecnological development during the first season. Human-vulcan relationships would have been more deeply explored and presented as more multi faceted. " The idea was for the series to portray the first deep space explorers in the Star Trek universe, with Braga explaining that everything would be new to the crew and that since the setting was closer in the timeframe to the modern day, their reactions to situations would be more contemporary.[2] As part of this, they sought feedback from members of the submarine service of the United States Navy, which was reflected in certain design work on the series such as the Star Trek uniforms.[35] The network executives needed to be convinced of the viability of a prequel series, as they had assumed that the series would take the franchise further into the future.[45] The initial idea was for the first season to be almost entirely set on Earth as the Enterprise was rushed to completion to respond to first contact with the Klingon, and the crew being put together. This idea was rejected by the studio executives, and these story elements were instead restricted to the pilot, "Broken Bow."[12] " so broken bow was a lame contraction of two awsome seasons!!!
Executives also forced the temporal war because they have felt the series wouldnt be futuristic and interesting enough. You know warp 5 ships arent futuristic at all... so 29th century had to be mixed in. Execs wanted even more crap. More sex, much more sensual tensions. More action. They wanted every episode t feature a real life band playing in the cantina to promote them like Buffy did... how realistic that would have been, right? Episodes had to be dumbed down for the audiences, ship features brilliabntly designed couldnt be used in the series ir shown et all because episodes would have to be more smart if those were included and trekkies are dumb in their opinion...
They sought to make Enterprise more character-driven than the previous series in the Star Trek franchise, and hoped that this would gain viewers who had watched The Next Generation but had lost interest with Deep Space Nine and Voyager. It was intended to link the series directly into The Original Series by having T'Pau, who had previously appeared in the episode "Amok Time," as a main character. Instead, this character was developed into an original Vulcan character, T'Pol. Berman explained his vision for the series at launch, saying, "We'll be seeing humanity when they truly are going where no man has gone before. We are seeing people who don't take meeting aliens as just another part of the job. It's not routine. Nothing is routine. Also, by bringing it back 200 years from Voyager, we're making the characters closer to the present, and by doing that they can be a little bit more accessible and a little bit more flawed and a little bit more familiar to you and me."[49] He said that this setting would combine elements of The Original Series while having "a lot of fresh and new elements in it." It was initially considered whether or not to have Enterprise overlap with the final season of Voyager, but it was decided that there would be a gap in broadcasting between the two series, as Berman was concerned with the "oversaturation" of the franchise. But he hoped that the "dramatic change" in Enterprise would mean that new viewers were drawn in to watch it. As part of this change, the decision was made to drop "Star Trek" from the title, but Berman explained that "if there's any one word that says Star Trek without actually saying Star Trek, that word is Enterprise." This title lasted until the third episode of season three, "Extinction," when the series was renamed Star Trek: Enterprise as demanded by Paramount Television executives in an effort to reconnect the series with the fans of the franchise.

These designs should have been kept outside of the star trek domain assoiciation. They are uniquely different enough so that a new story could have been applied. the term "warp speed", "warp", "warp nacelle" were not created by Rodenberry and predate star trek within the field of theoretical physics. In fact, the starfleet badge was taken from US emblems. Create your own story.

Same!

Yeah. It’s a shame that the stupid ‘Temporal Cold War’ series-long ‘plot’ ruined most of that vibe.
@@timonsolus Yes, it was a nice concept for a story line but very poorly executed. The series never really recovered from that mistake.
"I dunno, Needs more time travel." - Star Trek writers.
@@kendragon2012 Yeah I think the time travel plot was the then writer's version of 'Put a chick in it and make her gay and lame'!

Looking forward to the film. And being a Leo well makes it even better.
Correct. Which is why there's at least two other ships with that name floating around the internet 😁
This is exactly what i love, early starships
A few have already launched from Texas. 🤪
flawless
I think this would be awesome, it's a time period that is easier to relate to. It's a time that is more believable !
🖖😎👍Looks like it is coming along very nicely well indeed can't wait for the finished production of it all Sir!.
Thanks 👍
Yeah I admit it. At first I thought LEO meant Low Earth Orbit.
Sorry dude. 🥴
Dude It would be awesome if there was a series during this era with your style ships and tech. Again amazing work!

Star Trek could’ve beaten “For All Mankind” to the punch by 20 years
@@zenquantum1246Totally. Its sad.
It wasn't the original plan. Thank executive meddling for the negative changes. Still Enterprise is the best ST series IMO, in contest with DS9.

Interesting concept! Looks good so far. Subbed and looking forward to the film!
Thanks for the sub!
Gorgeous designs, wonderful
Amazing quality!! Nice work!!
Thanks, I really like your stuff also

That's a great design. Obviously Trek but not too Trek, you know?
Looks great. you should called it LEA not LEO. : )
Well that's the sister ship's name :D
I really like this ship design!
Love it. I especially like the near-future aesthetic.
This looks so promising. I can not wait!!
Kahless once said..A great man does not seek power..he has power thrust upon him!! DS9 Worf!!💫🖖💪👏🙌🙏👍🎉
Liking the look of this already 😊😊

Is that Mars? depending what u say will lead to the next question! Looks amazing in its own way!
It is Mars
Nice design reminds me of Masao's Torsk class.
A Star Trek Enterprise prequel?
Humanity's very first conflict with aliens life would be the Man-Kzinti Wars of the 2080s-2090s.
It is set slightly before Enterprise yeah - coming soonish
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH
Looks great 👍 😊
Looks good just wish there was a little bit more

nice premise
Why not keep to the rule that warp engines need to "see" each other?
Just curious
A treat especial

From the original Starfleet Museum website timeline?
Leo Walsh ?
Is this real and not a tease? This will really become a fan film at some point?
Good FX. Meh writing.
