Fly-Elise NG, LCD Immersion Pro, dongle free for 220 (identical triple screens) 270 EUR (any other screen config with up to 16) because ED in nearly a decade still couldn't be arsed to provide proper multi monitor support
Just a tip for people with NVIDIA cards, you may need to enable/configure your trips in the NVIDIA control panel first, get there by right clicking on PC screen and opening the NVIDIA control panel, then look at the 3d settings "Configure Surround,Physx", and go into configure button to set the monitors. I won't go into all that, plenty of other places to find that. Just saying, I have to do this on my PC, and I THINK it's pretty much mandatory to use NVIDIA trips in games. I also use trips for I-racing. And since I only use the trips for gaming, I switch back and forth a lot so I have to do this every time I game with trips. Only takes about 30 seconds. Cheers.
Good Day, I downloaded DCS 2.8 yesterday and while looking for instructions for setting up Multi Monitors I discovered your video, thanks for that by the way. I think I must have done something wrong however. I disabled Nivida surround and proceeded to follow your instructions. I set my left most of 3 monitors to main, set to 3 monitors in DCS and set resolution to 5760 x 1080. I am running 3- 27" monitors. The problem now is the only view that I have is about 1/3 of the left monitor being displayed in the center of the screen, and it does not display the whole image so that I cannot even get to some of the options available. I have a pic of the screen, but I don't see any way to attach it here. I have deleted DCS and re-downloaded in hopes that it would provide a fresh install so that I could start over, but the problem is still there. this leads me to believe that is a Windows issue, but I am not sure what I did to cause the issue. Hoping your expertise may be helpful. Thanks Kevin
Hi I have latest beta 2.9 when I use 3 screens at 12800 x 2160 its amazing but, when I use mission editor or in game map f10 button I only see half the map and its non click able. I have 3 55" uhd and a signal 4th screen from the Sony reciever. Need map to work?
Do you have any idea, how to just capture the centerview without the MFDs, if they're on the outside monitors? My TH-cam-Videos are not in Fullscreen, because the MFDs are beside the centerview.
So is this the resolution for any 3 screens or just the 27" monitors you are using? What would the resolution need to be for 3 AORUS FO48U each monitor is 3840x2160 120 Hz?
Hello, thank you for the tips. I have a bezel distortion meaning that DCS do not take into account that I have 3 screens with bezel , Is there a way to specify somewhere the bezel size like we can do in many driving simulation. Do you also have a screen mismatch due to the bezel ? NVIDIA Surround is also able to change the resolution for adapting the bezel but I don't want to use it anymore. THK for your help.
@@designamk1160 Hello, you need to change 2 settings in the 3cameras.lua file available in DCS World OpenBeta\Config\MonitorSetup to do a bezel correction. Left monitor Viewdx and right monitor Viewdx. I need to check home the value I've put :) A+
BIG NOTE HERE: Make sure you click the 5760x1080 option... not the size for just one monitor. (In other flight sims, say like XP11/FSX/etc, you select the resolution of EACH monitor. UNFORTUNATELY, I did this, and now I am stuck with a display where the 1/3 of each side is black and I can't click on anything...) It appears the only option is an uninstall/reinstall. Again, unfortunately this is painstakingly slow as I am only on a 400 MBS/FIOS line - the first install took 4 hours . UGH... So far this sim is an infinite pain in my kulo. I was expecting a sim with the ability to adjust more settings/and ya know... MAKE IT WORK? UPDATE: Uninstalled, and reinstalled. Same problem. If you miss this setting, ANY future addition of DCS will not run. I am basically in DCS jail and can never play DCS because of ONE setting. ANY idea on how to get it to work is appreciated. I think the only way I can get it to work is to buy a new computer now... my computer is fine, it's the game that doesn't work... this is so backwards.
Can't you just unplug or disable 2 monitors? Or possibly make a graphics change under some config file? I've found this solution to work with 90% of games I've had graphics problems with. I don't have the game installed on my new PC yet so I can't look into it to far unfortunately.
Just delete the config folder located under users\yourusername\saved games\DCS. When you boot the game next, it will recreate folder and everything is back to default. It has been 5 months since you posted this but maybe someone will read this and it can help. I fought with this like crazy. Also, you need to have the left most monitor as main display in windows for everything to work nice in DCS world with multiple monitors. Annoying AF!
Hi I got a problem I set up my DCS for 3 monitors but noticed I got not the right connection cable for my third one and now I cant enter the DCS settings anymore. Is there some kind if hotkey or sth?
Don't know about how to do that in game, but you could always go into Users>(Your Name)>>DCS>Saved Games>Config and rename "options.lua" to "options.lua.old" (or something like that) and then save & exit. The next time you start DCS world, options (including video) will be set back to default.
Man for what ever reason, Im only getting the screen to show up on the right 2 monitors (center and right) but no the left. so it looks like its been cut off. left screen is main display, settings are the same as you have it. 3x 32" monitors. I cant figure out what happened. any idea? :)
Any ideas how you fix the 'broken' horizon? Also, in the cockpit if you zoom out you end up with your wings pointing forwards...

Configuring surround on NVIDIA Control Panel did nothing to fix the black screen/1/3 menu displaying on my set up. *shrug*
I wonder what a 49" ultra wide curve monitor would look like in DCS ? 🤔
I'm not having that same success. It's been a headache getting my 3 monitors up running. ugh

DCS handles triples poorly. You have to set your left screen as your primary. But without using surround. Nothing will line-up
This only works if I have fullscreen unchecked. A bit stumped at this point. Help would be appreciated 🙏
What monitor can I buy that's very big and cheap in the uk?
What graphics card is best but not too expensive?

I've fixed my bezel problem by configuring the 3cameras.lua available in the monitorsetup folder. My DCS 3 screen configuration is perfect now !
Good to hear that!

What about a quad screen setup?
What graphics card
Thanks now I cant play dcs anymore because this broke my game
Many videos reference Surround as if it does not work. Why could this not be done using with surround?
Surround enabled in DCS puts the settings button where you would change the resolution off screen with no way of getting it.
Do you have any experience with touch screen monitor setups or could you point me in the right direction for information please?
Sadly I don't 😥
