Appreciate the golden nuggets of wisdom in your setup advice! Roll and Vertical Rotation settings are indeed crucial and seem to vary with the physical arrangement of one's monitors. With my 3x27 setup, the configurations differ slightly. And the tip about scaling down from 4k is pure gold-what a game-changer! Thanks for elevating our rig configurations!
I remember trying to set up triples in iRacing for the first time. I thought I was going to need a degree in math. I finally figured it out. But this video makes so much sense. I wish I had found it back then. Thank you so much for this!!
To anyone wondering why your line of horizon drops down at an angle from the main monitor to the side monitor - this guy explains it. I get it now! Can't wait to put this in practice.
I literally got my triple screen setup working today. As a simmer using the near-study level WB Sim add-on for the Cessna 172, I am using FS2020 to build skills and knowledge ahead of embarking on my PPL. Three screens is a must-have for this, without doubt. I spent a few hours playing with the perspective settings and came to the same conclusions as yourself - that it's all about the eyeball position of the pilot. The only thing I am still struggling with is my right screen - I just can't quite get the perspective of the last few inches of the cockpit panel to align with the centre. Another point to mention, is the difference when choosing to centre oneself right in the middle of the cockpit as if there was only one yoke in dead centre. This kinda feels better overall but it isn't an accurate representation of the 172 cockpit layout. End of the day, if you're using FS2020 for flight training, small inaccuracies across 3 screens becomes almost unnoticeable. One last comment to make is despite copying your settings in FS2020 and in NVIDEA, my frame rates are not good and I am using a RTX 3060 ti. I will keep tinkering. Thanks so much for your content on triple screens - it has helped me loads.
I am so glad you find value in my videos . I thank you for watching. I'm sorry you can't get the right screen to fit.i wish we could do like a screen share and troubleshoot. I have a discord channels set up .we only have a few members . If I can grow that community maybe we can all hop in there and help each other out with individual issues. I am also on my way to a ppl. I have no hard timeline but I myself am also using the 172 WB to simulate reality. Lastly , I like what you're saying about centering the in-game view in the center screen perfectly but only if I then get to slide over and sit biased to the left of my main screen . Lol I would need 80 inch screens to make this feel accurate but it is not out of the realm of reality . Here's a secret , don't tell my wife ......one day ...I will upgrade to triple 75 or 80 inch screens ....just wait ... 😂 😆 🤣 ( If she reads this post my sim room will mysteriously go up in flames )
I totally agree on the position of the pilots' chair, in my opinion it should be to the most left of the cockpit giving it a more accurate view of the 16«72 cockpit (or any other plane for that matter. But it´s just my point of view. Let us know how that goes and post some pictures or videos.
@@DaSimSimma Okay so I played some more (admittedly on my 3 x 32inch) and, now I am flying the study level Piper Arrow III from Justflight, I need to position myself dead centre of cockpit to visually sync best with the 3 screens to create most comfortable experience. I can shift over the left again for cruise, but being centre also represents my physical relationship to my 3 screens.
Wonderful - what a great help! I've been using triples for racing game for years but couldn't figure out how to do it in MS Flight Sim. Thanks so much for the clear presentation!.
Thank you for this video! I found this video after a friend asked me to install and fly with them. I am using triple for sim racing and being this easy to setup triple in a game is amazing!
In the past couple months I setup a 45” curved screen. Seems to provide me with a large viewing area, tobii head tracking to get some additional flexibility, and a home built 1:1 scale a320 cockpit. The screen layout seems almost perfect for alignment with the cockpit based on center window up to overhead panel etc. im considering a dual curved screen setup though
I'm so glad! This is exactly why I make these videos! Why struggle and learn the hard way when someone already figured it out. Spend your energy discovering something else non of us know , than come back here and teach us all! Thank you friend !!
Great VID, love the setup. You mentioned you weren't sure why some people would angle the side monitors the way they did. Maybe I can shed some light on that. I'm what you could call a lazy gamer. I don't sit in a regular gaming chair that is upright. I usually sit in my recliner and have my controls moved where I need them so I can be comfortable. The main reason I angle mine is because I'll be at an angle from reclining so they will have to be adjusted to the focal points a little different than if I were to sit upright and straight.
I run triples for everything , but even with a 4080, 64GB DDR5 @ 5600MHz, Rhyzen 7800X3D @ 5.0 GHz I cannot get past how poor the performance is when using the experimental multi-monitor solution they have in place currently. I'm also impressed at how great it looks on your Rig with the settings dialed back so much. Impressive setup and you've done a great job configuring it!
I'm so sorry for the late reply. I'm not active on TH-cam much these days I moved my operation over to twitch. It's funny you say that about performance because the other day I played without streaming online. Streaming for me takes at least 25% of my pc resources. Once I stop streaming and continue playing I swear to you that I got anywhere from 55 to 59 constant fps. It was in a general aviation aircraft flying around dubai. I haven't played the game that much since I made this video since I got into truck simulator and racing but I'm surprised to see how far we've come and how well the game plays.
Good video. It would be nice if new windows could move sideways and up and down. I have 3 screens but they are not exactly next to each other. They are also not the same size. So it's very important to have more camera movements.
Very cool I'm glad. If you have any more questions go to my about page on TH-cam and join my discord I don't mind helping you out personally if it comes to that ! Good luck friend !
Where did you place your TrackIR 5 i believe you showed in another video? I'm having problems with mine trying to place it on such a big monitor. Help is appreciated.
@@spooledup8295 You might have me confused with somebody else. I don't use track IR. I'm in front of a huge triple screen that wraps all the way around me giving me 180° vision, which means I don't need to use tracker yard to turn the head in the game. I just turned my head in real life and look out the side windows
Thanks for the video. This significantly changes the experience, its not hard, but you're right, it'll take a lot of tweaks to get it the way you want. Thanks for the clear explanation!
Absolutely Karl ! I hope it makes sense to people and it's helpful . I don't pretend to have mastered the topic but I made sure to share all that I discovered. Thanks again for stopping by !
I am having a challenge getting the 3 windows set on each of my 3 55" monitors. I've figured it out with overlaps - the main screen peeks into the side screens by about 2". Might be overthinking it cause it looks fine. But the bezel kit looks cool. Any thoughts from listeners appreciated.
Thanks friend ! A lot of people ask your question but it's not possible yet . I actually built a custom 3d panel that's ultra low profile in an effort to blend the screen panel with my real cockpit : th-cam.com/video/v0h2Ndtr420/w-d-xo.html
Very helpfull video. And great sim you've got there ! Really looking forward to having one like this one day, for the winter, when flying is not easy in the northern hemisphere. Great job ! Although, while recently fiddling with this MSFS feature, I thought a bit about how you understood it. And I'm not sure you are right about the lateral rotation offset parameter. Because, if you draw a triple monitor setup from above, you'll find out that your point of view is always at the same angle from the center to a side screen, as your side screen angle from the center one. If your head is on the center of this "screens arc", these two angles will always be the same. In fact, MSFS doesn't know the real life dimensions of one's screens, and therefore, its in game field of view doesn't match one's real life field of view. It only matches it when one actually sets up screens 90° apart from one another and sits right in the middle of them. Which makes me think that MSFS approximately shows an image with a 90°-ish field of view (45° left + 45° right) for each screen, which is more or less what you can easily get IRL with your giant screens 👍🙂. But this is also why one has to get the lateral rotation offset parameter close to 90° (you got 88°), in order not to have an image gap between screens. I remember that X-Plane allowed fiddling with the field of view when rendering a new window. You can do it in MSFS too, if you tune the zoom parameter in general graphic options. This is the only way (at the moment), to get the in game FOV, close to the real life FOV, whatever the size of one's screens. That's it. Sorry for the geometrics lesson, I know it can be boring. But for those who are using less bigger screens than yours, it's important to know that they're not gonna set a lateral rotation offset parameter even close to their real life head angle from one screen to another. It will be close to 90° anyway, regardless of the angle or size of the screens.
Thank you so much for such an in-depth explanation ! This is my second attempt at a reply since I'm using speak to text while I'm doing something else. My last attempt ended up half in English half in Romanian...lol...don't ask ! I think you make very very valid points. I do agree with you that at the end of the day will arrive at 90. But then again that makes what I said correct too that it's in reference to your eye point 90° from Center seems to bring both side screens into alignment. I also understand and agree with you that if you use the scroll wheel on the mouse you can zoom in and out and change the field of view therefore adjusting the overlap further to reduce or enhance it. The very disappointing thing about this whole situation is that I had to come up with my own explanation and you had to come up with your own also. That is very sad when you think that this triple screen technology has been around for over a decade. In that many other games out there provide this technology and in a way that it's very easy to understand and relatable to real life. I am also very annoyed, that after reading such an in-depth explanation is yours, I am still slightly confused. And that is not a reflection of how you described it but a reflection of how confusing things are set up by microsoft. The fact that this is becoming an interpretive dance rather than facts is it the core of the whole problem. Anyways, I really do appreciate such effort that you put into explaining and if you find out more or if you have a way of clarifying further for me I would be glad to hear some more theories. I'm no way deflecting your proposal but rather admitting defeat : either this thing clearly doesn't make sense or I am not intelligent enough to understand this unnecessarily difficult issue before us . Happy flight my friend . Please come back often and continue to provide your insight !
PS . If we receive a couple more inputs and can find consensus, I offer to remake this video so that we can one day offer clarity to the masses. For now I remain confused but eagerly looking for more information and clarity
@@DaSimSimma Yeah, flight simulation... always been a bad sheep in terms of ergonomy or easy to use interface stuff ! When you realize we had to wait untill MSFS to get nice light reflection effects and be able to fly at 30fps without needing a state of the art computer to run a flight sim, you really measure how deep is the problem with flight sims etc... And believe me, I'm a train driver in France, the sims used for training are still ten to twenty years late in terms of graphics, when professional aviation simulator makers can afford to keep up improving a little. But through the years it's getting better and better ! Thanks for your answers ! Have some good flying and driving !
Hi, Thanks for this great video. A key alignment is also the front monitor position regard to the axis of Pilote/Yoke/PFD (or Artificial Horizon). I saw setups with the front monitor centered on the Pilote axis. But for I do not think that this is the gooe setup. Monitor should rather be shifted to the right so that Pilote/Yoke/PFD axix is pointing to the lefs part of the front screen. Question is how to determine the best shift of the front screen ? THanks again for your super totorial.
Great informative video 👍. Do I have to set a window for each of the 3 screens I'll be using? How do I get the yoke on the simulator to line up to the middle of my screen as it seems to be offset to one side? Thanks 👍
Great video thank you, this is very informative. I have 3 42inch LG C2's powered by NVIDIA 4090. I'm going to call the LG C2's Monitors and the MSFS Windoes screens. I'm coming from Sim Racing and MSFS 2020 was on sale because of 2024 coming out, I though trying my hand at Flight Sim. I have the 3 monitors working thankfully to this video. However I can only have my MSFS screens windowed. If I set them to fullscreen, each MSFS window stretches across all three monitors. Do I need to turn off NVIDIA surround off? How are you getting each window in full screen without them trying to take up all three monitors. Thanks in advance.
Great video! It helps me a lot. Which tv screens do you use? I can’t see any black frames around them. Looks like there is none between the screens. How did you do that?
Just go to my channel and search Asus bezel free kit. You'll see a video that explains how it's done. For my 55-in Vizio TVs. There's a kit that you can buy in Etsy from a gentleman in England. I'm sorry I don't have his name right now. Just search it on Etsy
Thank you Tom . I forgot to talk about Field of View and Zoom. In this game they are tied together and they have a weird effect. I need to make a quick follow up video to cover that . Field of view, zoom and physically moving inside the airplane cabin forward and backwards also plays a role in how you view the images in triple screen
@@DaSimSimma Really good video thanks - I will look out for the follow up with field of view and zoom. The MSFS solution seems more complicated than XPlane 11 so your information is very useful and much needed thanks (now subscribed)
@@brexpatfarang3780 thank you. I'm trying not to be overly negative and critical of asobo and Microsoft ....but when you are the only one doing triple screen implementation like this , either you don't know what you're doing and you didn't research the completion OR.....the game is so technically challenging that this was the only solution that would work right now. I would like to believe it the latter because I am pretty dam sure they have a top notch crew working over there. I personally know two friends that have worked in corporate at Microsoft and we're pretty competent folk. In any case....this will work....lol THANKS FOR THE SUB BY THE WAY ! I'm so close to 1000...every sub is precious to me . I hope to continue to provide you value !
Great video! i have a question. Is there any chance once we set up our screens to let that configuration as default every time we run the sim, or do i have to set it up over and over again? Thank you
The rotations are for smaller side screens when you don’t have 3 same sized screens. They are useless now as options because you also need individual zoom and eyepoint adjustments to make different sized screens line up.
Thanks for these awesome videos. Question, if I may: How did you get the scenery AND instrument panels to align so well? I fly the Horizon 787-9 with the default instrument panel and 3 monitor Volair Sim chassis, and if the horizon is straight across the 3 monitors, the flight deck structure and instrument panel on the right and left monitors are at absurd angles. You seem to have nailed in with your Airbus video. Thanks for any information. PS. Volair Sim monitor mounts are fixed at 25-30 degrees. I’ve watched Russ Barlow and still can’t get any results. Thanks!
Hello and thanks for your informative video my friend. If you were to start again and you could choose, would you go for 55 or 65 inch screens ? kind regards David
Hi Dave ! 65 ...65 all day !!! Long story short : id like to tuck the screen lower behind my fanatec. It would be so much more immersive to be able to see more dashboard !!!
Having had 55 in for a while now I di notice some other things : please be aware that the bigger the screens the further away the sidescreens will be from you. On one hand things will be bigger in exactly one to one skill to real life. But there's something weird about the screens being that far away. The way to defeat this is to have a completely dark room. I have a custom built room with no windows or anything in my basement. It's a small detail but I thought I would mention it . @boostedmedia channel talks about the same thing in one of their older videos . But , he has 65 oleds . Try watching some of his content . Maybe you can l get some different perspectives and opinion
Beautiful setup! But how does it relate to when you are panning up or down with the controller or POV hat/switch? When I pan, look down or up, with the controller or the HAT/switch on the yoke, the image on the side screens are rotating upwards... Is it possible at all to pan vertically without the extra screens rotating? Is it thats why it is called experimental? Very grateful for a reply from someone who knows!
I personally bought Vizio M Series "GAMING TV" . My decision was very much influenced by price. 3 tvs can cost quite a lot of money as you can imagine. Next was refresh rate . Of course I wanted 120 hertz but ...3 , 4k tv running at 120 hz it means 4k triple screen at 120 fps. No graphics card out there can run fs2020 at 120fps . The 4090 with DLSS 3.0 night get close. All of that to say , of course I want OLED 120HZ tv but I settled for middle of the road. Second was size consideration . I think 55 to 65 is the sweet spot. Any bigger and it looks out of scale in real life. Any smaller and you might as well buy a gaming monitors at 1440p .it sounds to me like I should make a video to walk through all these ideas ....thanks for asking !
The TV's are all set to 3840x2160 . That is what windows displays the desktop at. In game , it is rendered at : center 3840x2160 and side screens at 2560x1440
I think the point of the side screens turned to diagonals is to make the horizonal length of the screens longer along the sight line (at the expense of the corners being cut off
Of course , I understand, the question was rhetorical. But my question back to you is can you imagine what that looks like in the gaps that are formed top and bottom of those screens... So the final question still remains WHY ?? LOL
No, the point is to extend the side views below the bottom of the middle screen. Traditional three-screens-in-a-line setups are compromised by having the middle screen mounted high, usually high enough to clear a yoke. This seriously compromises the side views because it restricts the downwards visibility. You can mitigate this by mounting the side screens lower, but then you start to lose the top of the view. Putting your side screens in portrait orientation is another option, but the 'twisted' display gives a great compromise in my experience. The video linked by the OP was just an experiment to see if MSFS can now do this as well as P3D View Groups. The benefits are more obvious in this video: th-cam.com/video/1KmY397X9LY/w-d-xo.html
Great video and explanation! Not sure when I'll be able to get a setup like this, but will definitely subscribe so I have your channel as a resource when I do make the jump. Thanks again!
@@DaSimSimmacan I ask 1 more thing? How is the excitement level after a year? Do you sit down with the same satisfaction? Did it worth the investment? I ask this bc according my calculations this upgrade would cost me the price of a license to fly a Cessna. 😅 Can you call over aviation fan friends to enjoy the experience together?
It's funny that you ask this question. I enjoy it exactly the same as the first day. I actually keep investing in it every so often. Getting better and better gear. It's a bit of a disease. Next stop on the menu is a better computer motion simulation in OLED 65-in screens. I don't intend to stop any day. The other reason this is interesting is because I've also considered the Sim rig versus getting a pilot's license. One of my friends at work has a license and it's an absolutely amazing feeling to enjoy the fruit of his labor with him. Unfortunately that hobby is a lot more expensive than just a pilot's license, and I'm sure you already know that. That's not to say either or, but it's much easier to maintain my hobby than to go and pursue his. Stay. The course my friend get yourself a Sim rig that works in the winter summer fall. It works when it's raining. It works when you're sad and when you're happy. I hope I'm making my point. If you want to take a flight, find a friend. Pay $270 for 2 hours and come on back down and play Sim racing with us;)
Sorry not sure if it was obvious but I use my rig for flying in for Sim racing. All you have to do is check my channel. There's a video where I show how I translate between the two. So this is more than a flight rig. It's a jack of all trades
Placing the 90 causes problems for most of my other games. I love flight simulator but I'm really into truck simulator and all the other driving games. Not to mention the fact that I couldnt really get in and out of the seat comfortably, so you could say it was also a space thing. I'm really glad that you got something out of this video and it's helping you out !
Hi dear...how are you? Let me ask you... How did you connect these 3tvs on One gpu? Did you use a cable with hdmi and Display port in the same cable? Thank you very much for attention. I love your vídeos... Congratulations.
I have a 3080 which has four video outputs on the back. Three of them are DisplayPort. And yes, I'm actually using cables that start off as display port and end up as HDMI. I hope this helps
Great video! Is there a way to separate the outside view from the cockpit instruments and dasboard. This because I want to build a real cockpit with windows wich only shows the outside world without instruments. Thanks in advance 😊
Oh my gosh I'm so embarrassed. I have so many videos I literally thought you were talking to me about American truck simulator I didn't even see where this comment belonged. The short answer for your question is still no there's no way to do it outside of moving the camera around a little bit but you might not be happy with the few that you get
Awesome setup, great content, and thorough explanation. All in all, a great channel. I was wondering, what type of screen are you using and how are they connected? Are you using gaming monitors or regular screen? And are you connecting using HDMI or DP?
If you do to my Mani page you will see a video on my whole sim room setup. And yes HDMI to do but be carefully on cable specs , "them boys be fibbing out there . Many cables many returns
Also, thanks for the compliment ;) . I used to use this thing called Asus vessel free kit. I made a video about it on my channel. But I've since moved on to this new homemade solution that I bought on Etsy. I owe that gentleman an awesome review. I'm going to get on it this week I promise. Please come back and you'll see
@CoolDude-zv6dm I apologize for making you watch more videos to get an answer. Have a short amount of time since I have a daily job and I get a lot of questions so I try to answer them as quick as I can. The easiest way is to send you into my library of videos, all the answers are there :) If something doesn't make sense or you're still looking for answers, please come back and ask. I promise I will try my best to answer
the 88.6 degrees is the field of view so in total you set it to 88.6 one way and 88.6 the other way=177.2 degrees. If your side monitors extend behind you, you should set it to 90 degrees, or more if the game allow you to
I am not an expert , these are only opinions as we all lack actual tutorials or tutorials from Microsoft . I preface it that way so I can say this : I respectfully don't think you are correct. When I set it to 90 (which is the max) it doesn't look correct . Again...my opinions , my perception.
Hey thanks for the video. What type of connection do you use for the tv's? probably HDMI since TV's wont come with Display Ports. But do you have 3 HDMI out on your GPU? Bcz my 3090ti doesnt!
I use HDMI to Display port cables. The make ones that start as one plug and end as the other. You just have to make sure they are certified for 4k at 60 hertz minimum. Just like you I have a 3080 withe display and one HDMI. Not much to it. But you have to buy the right cables. I bought a few before I found the right ones .
I found a gentleman somewhere in England that creates custom bezel kits for up to 65 inch screens. That is what you're looking at in this video. Somewhere on my page you can see a video where I've glued two kits together so four actual pieces of plastic. I've long since moved away from that. Speaking of, I still owe that gentleman a nice TH-cam review. I love his stuff and it's so affordable. So much more affordable than buying the Asus bezel free kit!
Great video. I have everything except for the rig itself. I can not find the "perfect" one. So many pieces of trash, or good ones that are more for racing than flight. Seems like no one makes a good rig dedicated to flight.
Does this work if I have different monitor sizes and resolution? I know it’ll look worse, but can I have a 32” 1440p monitor and 2 27” 1080p monitors? I don’t mind if it looks like crap
Hey bud, new subscriber here. I normally do NOT comment on videos but I felt I have to say great video man. Your bass shaker video and this video helped so much. Do you have a sim hub profile video? I tried searching your channel but couldn’t find one. Again, great content and Thank you in advance.
Hi friend ! Thanks for stopping by ! I do not have a sim hub video :( been meaning to make one for a while. I actually learned to make my first few guages also ...hmmm...soon...soon...what exactly do you want to see in terms of simhub profile ?
hi sim simma, i recently just started setting up a triple setup! i have 3x 55" hisense u78km Televisions they are 4k 144hz with freesync and VRR and ALLM. I have a question, my TVs are HDMI2.1 and my RTX 3090 is Display port 1.4. what tvs do you use? how are they connected? are they DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 ?
Hi friend, this question comes up quite often. I don't expect you to go back and read every comment but the answer is pretty simple. You have to go on Amazon and order yourself a cable that starts off as display port and ends up as HDMI. They make those cables. But you must be extremely careful. I am not lying to you. When I tell you that I ordered over 15 cables. Some will say that they handle the high bit rate at 4k and 60 hertz but they will not. Furthermore, the problem you're going to have is if your TVs can handle 120 hertz those cables are going to be even more rare to come by. They will be available. They might be expensive and they might have to be sent back a couple times until you get ones that work properly. The way you know a cable doesn't work is literally no image comes out so don't get frustrated. That's just how it works. Please come back here and let me know after you've resolved this issue. I'm very curious and very excited for you to get this going
@@DaSimSimma thank you! I have some additional cables ordered this time shorter length. I read online somewhere that 10ft is the max. I was running 15ft ! Fingers crossed. I will let you know the results
@@DaSimSimma hello. I got new cables and I can now do 4K 120hz on each monitor. However I have a new problem. I can only activate 2 screens at a time. I have a Zotac RTX 3090 OC. Do you think it’s enough ?
Please explain a little bit more. When you say two screens. What do you mean to screens? Do you mean you can only activate two in the game or only two of the screens work from the graphics card? Please let me know. It's not enough. By the way, you should be able to run three screens with no problem. One of your settings is messed up either in the game or in the Nvidia control panel. We still get to the bottom of it no problem. I really advise you going to my discord channel. You can find a link to it in my about page on TH-cam

I enable nvidia surround and it’s all working I’m literally staggered.
Hi Awesome vid. I dont have a lot of room 4-5ft wide foot wide only got the one screen at the moment, thats a 43 in. and need get two more, the actual size of cockpit will be roughly same width across as real 172 would that be to narrow,? also I need I think upgrade my computer as not powerful I dont think to run 3 monitors. dont want to be using curved screen projector set up.is it best to use 3 screens same size and same make ?
Wouldn't Vertical rotation offset (or a combo of vertical + roll) help with what I like to call the "waterfall" effect that you talked about at 3:20 (when you sit too high/low)? As an avid sim racer I'm also well aware of the importance of getting your eyeline at screen center...for older sims (AMS1, AC). For most modern sims with good triple support, you have the option of adjusting where your eyeline is, so you won't get that warped waterfall effect on the side monitors (iRacing, Raceroom and a couple others all have settings to account for this)...I think it's called Horizon offset in iRacing. I drive mostly modern F1 type cars and have positioned my rig to have that kind of layout (reclined seating position, wheel positioned high), so my eyeline is very low relative to the center of the monitor. I've been trying to decide whether to buy MSFS for years now, I tried it briefly when it first released and they didn't have multiple rendering then, so I said I'm not paying for it until it does. MSFS is on sale now for a week so now I'm reconsidering, but if there's no way to compensate for a horizon mismatch then I might have to skip it again, as I barely do any flying compared to racing.
I'm so sorry for this extremely delayed response. I wouldn't let that tiny feature keep you away from this game, it is quite amazing. With all that said I'm completely pissed off at them and the stupid hahahaha . They are coming out with a new version in 2024 they're going to ask us all for another $100. That's why I'm pissed. But the game itself is absolutely amazing. Regarding your role comment just get the game and you'll see how stupid that feature is and how it makes no sense at all hahahhaha
Hi Kevin. I do have 4 screens connected . I should try it !!! ( Rebuilding my flight panel so my 4thvis disconnected . But should be up and running by next weekend . I'll let you know )
You could but you shouldn't. I talk about that at the beginning . The goal with triple screens would be to surround yourself with the image . If not one should purchase a ultra wide screen because that would be the ultimate outcome
This is very helpful. Do you have a video that shows your underlying support structure, for monitor mount, gear mount, etc? I've previously used standard-sized office tables for yoke, throttle, monitor, etc., but I'm to the point where I need to float my gear at a specific position to maintain my desired eye-line with the monitors. Also haven't chosen my floor-stands for the monitors (48").
Thank you for stopping by and thanks for asking all these questions. I don't have a specific one but I have a video of my whole Sim room and you can kind of see how I built it. The video is on my homepage : th-cam.com/video/Ajdtdn-WC1Y/w-d-xo.html .Everything is based on 80/40 aluminum extrusion. You can buy pre-made but I bought mine piece by piece where I was given most of it. If you work with aluminum extrusion you can cut it all to any size you need and you can build TV stands as well as a whole rig that you can sit inside of or that can host your yolk. I'm working on a video right now to show how I built my flight Sim panel I will make sure to discuss how the panel in the yolk are actually situated on to my rig. Speaking of, and sorry for being all over the place I do have a small video that shows how I go from driving to flying and in that moment you can see how things attach here it is : th-cam.com/video/gr8u2Wo4IaA/w-d-xo.html
Wow those triple screens are amazing!! I'm thinking about it at some point. I have a rtx 3070 with a 27" monitor now, want to add 2 more 27's would that work?
It Absolutely WILL !!! BEFORE I lost my mind and half my savings into this project , I also had triple 32 inch screens ! It works just Fine !!! Do want you can now and upgrade down the road ! The Chinese made gaming monitors on Amazon are pretty freaking sweet, and a sweet deal I speak from experience! Good luck friend
Your set up is great, you done a really good job!. I'm trying to build a similar cockpit (to use with MSFS2024 as it becomes available) with 3 screens, maybe 40" 43" QHD, my PC is Ryzen 7 7800 X3D - VGA RTX 4080 S. I'm not an expert, and I don't know if my VGA can support such screens without slowing the simulator or get overheated. Do you have any advice ? I appreciate a lot, thank you!
At the time of making this video I was running a 3080 so I think you should have no concerns. Please remember that any graphics card that you buy has safety features in place and settings for the fans to kick on and if it ever gets overheated, it will absolutely shut down the PC to save itself. So she should have no concerns. Another big misconception is the bigger the TVs, the more the graphics card has to work. Which couldn't be further from the truth. I have a 13-ft projector in my basement that doesn't take any more power to play games on than a 28-in screen. It's all about resolution. I know you didn't ask about that portion but I wanted to put that out there because there's so much misnowledge spreading around
@@DaSimSimma Hi Bro, thank you for your reply! Happy to hear that VGA have a some kind of self- protection, I'm a novice. My desire is to buy 3 X 43" 4K screens, scaling the resolution settings to 1440 as you have done...hoping to mantain a decent FPS. I wouldn’t want to throw away the money and i want to be sure first, I said 43" and not 55" because I think "a bit smaller a bit better image resolution" maybe I'm wrong?😅
@AlessandroAtzori-vv2je there could be an argument where 4K meaning something like 12 million pixels can look better on a small screen than 12 million pixel on a 80-in screen. We can all assume and extrapolate that the pixels are bigger since there's the same amount of pixels on a small end or a big screen. I know that for sure because on my projector which can project in 4k at 13 ft. Across my wall when I get up close I can actually really literally see the pixels. So I guess all that to say you are correct. A smaller screen might look more densely packed with pixels. Therefore, look like them more defined accurate image. But all that said, what the heck do I know? I'm just a guy who likes to play games just like you hahahha
4090 for sure or hold out for the 50 series hopefully in 2025...and... I would definitely pick oled screens no matter the cost. But, this is not a what If, this is what's going to happen...stay tuned ...lol
Glad this was helpful ! I'm working on a video showing how to hook up up to 5 screens . PS I don't think it works for tail draggers because : any rotation you do in the options disconnects the side screens from the center one...which means they don't align at all and everything looks whacky! What I was trying to express is : if you rotate the screen in the options you have to physically toate the screens in real life . I didn't want to appear as if I am talking crap but here is the guy who did what I am describing and ... I have no idea why you would do such a thing .. th-cam.com/video/jgWf2m5z0w8/w-d-xo.html
@@bodyspike Being that it is a rotation and not a slide or zoom I'm no sure it helps with different size screens. The image simply rotates on a pivot that is the center of the screen . It rotates up and down . If the screens were already a different size ....the projected image would be a different size there for rotating wouldn't provide better alignment because the images are already misaligned by scale. I'm not challenging your statement but you added another kink to the never ending triple screen drama within fs2020. PS Wouldn't it be lovely if the Microsoft provided a clear and concise tutorial ??? Instead of having chumps like me trying to trial and error our way through it .... 😂
Great video again, my question is if you use 3 screens for out of plane views, how many monitors do I use for instruments? I see people use expensive setups and use the three monitors to see out the plane, what kind of setup do I use for all the instruments?
There are a few options . One is called Air Manager and you can use a fourth and even a fifth monitor. most new graphic cards have 4 outputs and most CPUS have an additional HDMI for a total of 5. Do not expect this to be flawless. That many monitors will have an impact on performance. Cheaper options are to use tablets runing Airmanager mobile or , even easire SIM DASHBOARD ! , in some of my older videos you can see me use these two tablets and displaying all guages using wifi ! It sounds to me like i need to make a video ....hmmmm Here is the video i made on how to activate 5 screens on a pc : th-cam.com/video/EaPZ80cS3Gw/w-d-xo.html
@@DaSimSimma So if I just want to use three monitors I have to keep moving up and down to see the instruments? Do you have a video that just shows how to do everything with just 3 monitors and a joystick? I have to live with what I got, but I have been using FS since the early 70's, with a floppy disk. Now over 7K hours in FSX, i really enjoy siming. I want to buy a new PC and monitors and do not want to buy something that does not functionally work. I can not find a video that just shows the basics with three monitors.
Unfortunately moving up and down is the only way. I found a couple ways to get around it one of them is using tablets and a program called Sim dashboard. These extra tablets could get telemetry data and display instruments from the game. Additionally I had to purchase duplicate controls. Here's a video , just watch closely at the begining and you'll see the tablets : th-cam.com/video/v0h2Ndtr420/w-d-xo.html
I do have another questions that maybe you can answer? I want to setup 3 screens for view and a 4th for instruments. When I change from cockpit view to back view of plane, do all three monitors change together? How do you change views on the 4th monitor? If you choose change view how does it know which monitor you want?
Excellent video. Being under MSFS 2020 with a 49 inch 4K screen, I want to switch to triple screen and therefore add 2 side screens. The problem is that it seems to necessary to have 3 strictly identical screens to make a correct adjustment under FS2020. I can't find 49 inch screens but only 50 inch ones now. Is this difference prohibitive to be able to make a correct adjustment of the overall image?
I often wondered the same thing. I cannot say with confidence since I never tried different size screens. I'm sorry I don't want to "guess" or give wrong info . Keep researching around on Google and see what you turn up .have you tried the fs2020 official forum ? So many friendly people there willing to help !
To run a proper triple screen setup like this, you must use individual output ports into individual TVs. You cannot use a HDMI splitter. Most new graphic cards will have a minimum of three outputs on the back and they are usually DisplayPort. My TVs are HDMIs in my graphics card is DP but they make cables that go between the two. The start is one thing in the end is another.
Great Video !! Thank you QUESTION: why doesn't the view roll (left or right screen) when you roll the plan? My PC system had two screens, I bought a 3rd monitor to have the wrap around effect. VERY disappointed in MSFS to learn you can't configure a true right and left window view. When I roll the plane... (using the ailerons) the side windows do not show the view rolling. Is there some other configuration settings I'm missing? For example... If I roll the plane to the left, I expect to see SKY out my right window. I just keep seeing scenery. Any help you can provide would be very welcome. Thanks
I'm sorry I would love to help but I read this a few times and I honestly don't understand your question. Let's try another way ...after watching this or any other of my videos that show me flying ... Do my screens look correct or give you the view you desire ?th-cam.com/video/LxoHuPOtWjo/w-d-xo.html
Another way to say is : after properly setting it up and tuning it in , my setup behaves as I would expect a plane to behave and the corresponding views are also correct in everyway. Also , in my about page there's a link to discord. You can join us on discord me and the few friends we have in there can also try to address your question in more detail. Perhaps you can even show us some pictures?
Unfortunately you cannot :( . Xbox or another console out there is not designed to run triple screen on any game ....one 9f the many reasons people end up playing on PC .....I came from a ps4....that's how I ended up bulging this crazyness
Olá Bruno muito obrigado por assistir esse canal. Mal posso esperar para ver o que você fará. Estou me divertindo tanto que sei que você também vai gostar. Falo com você em breve amigo
@@thatoks6498 I have a whole video on this and there are a couple resources across TH-cam. Just research Asus bezel-free kit on my channel or on TH-cam
Hi. What a goldmine.... I have lots of room. I want to be able to fly with my son. Would you recommend to go for higher than 55 inch ... I was thinking at least 3x65... not sure if more is better
I would absolutely go bigger !!!!! My purchase was budget-conscious but next time I upgrade my TVs I'm definitely going 65! 70 would simply not fit in my gaming room that I specifically build for this reason...otherwise I would hahahhahha
@@DaSimSimma dont you feel 75 would be too big. U have space and cash. Just trying to make the right educated décision. I feel 75inch might just be too big to have some king of 1:1 scale.
I do agree that 75 would be too big . The screens would be so big they would be very far away from you and in some sense although they are bigger and you think you're more immersed you're actually feel more distance away from the game itself. It's difficult to explain but again I have 55 inch screens so maybe I shouldn't speak about 75 with such certainty
I ended up making the jump and buying a 1490k cpu, 4090 ti and 3x65 monitors with 144hz capabilities. Mfs is butter smooth like never before in lax, ebbr, in heavy traffic, pmdg, weather..... add-ons... it's magnificent. I loaded a small ga aircraft's for my triplescreen tests and I m upset given the massive fps drop...I get around 21 fps (after dlss frame generation and checking fps in msi afterburner). Using same settings as yours (same res on 3 screens as yours on video so different sides than front). I thought this was to be expected in heavy scenery but get the same in lgkr flytampa which is so fps friendly. Not sure what I m doing wrong. Copied your graphic settings as well. I had traffic on... next time I ll try to turn it off
I respectfully disagree with you. when you rotate the window , you are rotating the window inside the plane as well as what you see outside that window. So....if you rotate the side windows and not the center....you literally throw the world out of alignment . Btw .... I'm curious if you have a triple screen setup and if you have tried it yourself. Perhaps I'm not understanding?
Look up "asus bezel free kit'... I have a video about it on my channel but there's plenty of videos on the internet about it. Because I have 55-in screens, there's a gentleman somewhere on Etsy from England that sells these things to fit all the way up to 65-in screens
Hi. I've seen the specs in your description and would just like to ask something about the graphics card and monitors please. Is the card the standard 3080 (10GB) or is it the TI with more memory. How many outputs does it have and what are they and what connections are on the screens, ie is it display port to HDMI; display port to display port. etc Would you consider doing a video on choice of screens - not the size but other factors that affect performance (I've read somewhere that some screens can have a latency that can make images lag and the specs of the monitors which look complicated when you read them are difficult to understand and can make a big difference). Kind regards
These are all very good questions ! A video is in order !!! I promise. To give you the quick answer . I have 3 Vizio gaming TV's . They only do 60hrz Wich means I cannot see more than 60fps even if my card could output more. I have a founders edition Nvidia 3080. It is the basic one . All TV's are hooked up to the 3 Display ports on the back of the card . I bought specific cables that go from DO To HDMI and can support 4k at 60hz. That question also comes up a lot. As I said before my best videos come from questions like this . You have no idea .... Please give me till late next week . Replying to you from an Airbus 319 as we speak ...going out of town but shall return in a few days !
Quick side note . The card has 3 DO ports and 1 HDMI. people use that last one to run a touch screen for air manager but it is a hog on fps and resources. I found a way to use the additional HDMI on the mother board ( look at the back of your computer) they say that reduces the load on your gou since the CPU has to run that image . I'm still getting over 40 to 50 fps using in in this fashion....This is another video in the making ;)
@@DaSimSimma thanks for the replies. I'm looking to upgrade everything soon including to MSFS. Just a thought that you may or may not have considered, air player can be run using arduino or raspberry pi (I use the latter) so fps not affected. I contacted simovations and they say knobster and I assume touch screen all supported via air player. I got a raspberry pi for 40 pounds sterling plus cost of airplayer but for Nil FPS reduction was a good buy I think
I did get airplayer and I also got air manager running on a separate pc. I actually bought a laptop just for that. The problem with that is you cannot do pop out windows. So you will be able to enjoy instruments complicated and simple but you will not be able to see any of your MFD and PFD. Let me pull together a video showing how to use the HDMI on the back of your motherboard
When you have multiple monitors and you bring up a new aircraft, you have to reconfigure the left and right window to align with the center window. I would think that flight Simulator should be able remember each rendering window for each aircraft. Am I missing anything?
I'm certain what you described is happening but it shouldn't be. That's not how mine behaved. If I set my view in one plane , it applies to all planes. Hmmm...I'm so intrigued as to why IG is happening to you . To be clear once more...once you set up triple screen once, it should work for all planes
I'm not able to go down and test it right now but I do recall something about mouse function default behavior. Somewhere in options and settings and controls there is a setting for mouse to be used as legacy or something similar look into it and let me know if you resolve it. If not I might have to do it tomorrow. Happy new year friend!
I have ! I have a few older videos where I show what it looks like. It does work on all monitors . more so, you can turn the side monitors to a lower resolution than the center one ! 4k in the center ...2k on the sides for me
I am just in the planning stages of building a home sim and I am trying to get my displays correct. Did I understand you correctly? Did you say your side displays were at 72 degrees from the front display? I have seen other C-172 sims set ups (on youtube) with the side displays at 90 degrees. I have some actual time in a C-172 and when looking out the side window, the wing appear pretty close to perpendicular to the fuselage. Wouldn't setting the displays at a 72 degree angle skew this appearance? One of the reasons I am concerned about this is setting up the displays at such angles would increase the width of the sim considerably.
You have to think of a from two different angles. On one hand it's the angles of the physical side screens in relation to the center screen. On the other hand there are the angles that you can adjust in the simulator The angles of your TV's in real life depend on you in the amount of space that you have. In order to feel amorous that is recommended that you wrap them around you as much as you can all the way up to 90 degrees . The simulator itself allows you to account for your own settings so that you can get it to look correct. You have to be careful when trying to match my settings exactly those things really work for me in my situation but there are so many variables that they might not exactly translate to what you want to do. The whole point in my answer is : you are not locked into a certain measurement you can do whatever you want as long as you mess with the settings and get them to look good in the end
Hello looks so easy when watching but can’t manage to it properly working when I tried. I understand how to get proper fov setup angles but can’t manage lateral screens zoom or move to match center one. Do I misse something ?
Sorry for the late reply, continue to mess with the degree number. Try changing it by 0.1 at a time. Also, use your scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom in and out. That should also give you some adjustability. That's scroll wheel will look like it's zooming in but what it's actually doing is changing the field of view.
Trying to set up triple screen now. When I go to general options I don't have "experimental" tab. Mine starts at camera, sound, traffic, data, flight model, Misc, and accessibility. That's all. Thoughts?
Very stupid question so I apologize in advance : is your game set up to update automatically are you sure you are on the latest update. That feature was unable to many many months ago so I'm assumed that you are but no I've never heard of such a thing. I'm assuming the only guys who don't have it are guys on Xbox
God job! but, do you know how i get to export the external view in an other window (Projector), i dont know, and i have a home cockpit, but i try and dont get results.
I hope I understand correctly. But you cannot have both views at the same time. You either are inside the plane or outside the plane. You cannot have both. Or I have not seen anybody do it before
@@DaSimSimma Sorry for not explaining myself wellI, but I understand, I thought there was something like fsx that you could put the runway view in another window and the instruments in another and thus separate them. =( Tanks for answering so fast.
Another excellent video. You have a real talent for making technical stuff both easy to understand and entertaining. Thanks.
It is comments like these that give me the motivation to keep making videos. Thank you friend !
Thank you!! 👍
Glad it helped!
Thank you for this video! I found this video after a friend asked me to install and fly with them.
I am using triple for sim racing and being this easy to setup triple in a game is amazing!
Thanks man, couldn't figure out how to do this intuitively until I watched your video. I used 92/-92 for both windows
I would have made my tripple monitor stand wrong that I am currently working on if I miss this video, so thank you so much for making it!!!!
I'm so glad! This is exactly why I make these videos! Why struggle and learn the hard way when someone already figured it out. Spend your energy discovering something else non of us know , than come back here and teach us all! Thank you friend !!
Vertical rotation and roll rotation help a lot when your desks / mounts are not perfect.
I learned so much from watching this video. Thank you for making it and sharing your setup with us!!!
Awesome video! Think I may switch back from VR to bigger monitors arranged similarly to your set up.
Genius, easy n simple explained! Appreciate your work.
Thank you friend !
A lot of those settings actually don’t need to be that low as they have minimal effect on frames.
Good video. It would be nice if new windows could move sideways and up and down. I have 3 screens but they are not exactly next to each other. They are also not the same size. So it's very important to have more camera movements.
Thank you, Will be setting up my rig like this, answerd a few questions
Great video. Any ideas on how to remove the instrument panel from the main screen and keep the side views consistent?
I wonder if the rotation affects would help with projector setups?
My guess is that vertical rotation and roll isn't for display monitors, its for projectors
Great job and awesome explanation, than you!!
That answered all my questions I had about the screen angles! Nice video as always. Thx!
@@DaSimSimma Follow up video eagerly awaited..... :)
Great video! i have a question. Is there any chance once we set up our screens to let that configuration as default every time we run the sim, or do i have to set it up over and over again? Thank you
The screen setup is retained and You can save custom cameras and recall them using custom keys . Give it a quick Google search
The rotations are for smaller side screens when you don’t have 3 same sized screens. They are useless now as options because you also need individual zoom and eyepoint adjustments to make different sized screens line up.
I was looking for some tips for IL-2 Sturmovik on triples and found this. Now I want to install FS2020 again.
Thank you for reply, sincerely appreciate u talking the time. I’ll aim for 65 as you suggested and hold out a little longer. Thank you again
Hello, thanks for your return. Could you tell us what tv have you chose and what are the good criteria to choose a tv for fs2020. Thanks for your help
@@DaSimSimma Thanks. What is the résolution used and do you use the same résolution on the 3 Tvs?
The TV's are all set to 3840x2160 . That is what windows displays the desktop at. In game , it is rendered at : center 3840x2160 and side screens at 2560x1440
I think the point of the side screens turned to diagonals is to make the horizonal length of the screens longer along the sight line (at the expense of the corners being cut off
Of course , I understand, the question was rhetorical. But my question back to you is can you imagine what that looks like in the gaps that are formed top and bottom of those screens... So the final question still remains WHY ?? LOL
@@DaSimSimma Considering the screens used were so small I thought it was a pretty neat idea actually... and ... ultimately its what works for him
@@biff3183 and that's a point I cannot disagree with . Everyone does the best they can with what they have .

1440p is not a proportional scale to 4k, 1080p is.
Your setup is amazing😍, and exactly what I want, seasoned with HDR (OLED). What is the size of your 3 screens?
Thanks Bud. 55in
@@DaSimSimmacan I ask 1 more thing? How is the excitement level after a year? Do you sit down with the same satisfaction? Did it worth the investment?
I ask this bc according my calculations this upgrade would cost me the price of a license to fly a Cessna. 😅
Can you call over aviation fan friends to enjoy the experience together?
Excellent video, thank you very much for your time
In your configuration you place your screens at 72º,
Why didn't you place them at 90º?
Great Video. I noticed you also have a wheelbase for simracing. Do you setup the screen in Surround?
Yessir ! Most simracing games require surround than they support true triple projections from within the game menu . I play racing and truck sim
Another amazing video setup like 99.9 of videos out there. 2000 years later still no answer to actually on how enabling 3 screens on games.
Sorry friend I'm not sure I understand your comment. If I can clarify something let me know.
Triple screens on the shopping list, probably c3 42,inch

Hey man i was wondering if it would work with a ps5 i havnt got a clear answer yet and would appreciate a reply great vid!
Sorry I'm a bit confused ? Flight simulator isn't available on PS5 . Sorry I don't understand what your asking .
the 88.6 degrees is the field of view so in total you set it to 88.6 one way and 88.6 the other way=177.2 degrees.
Great video and a great help...what are the screens you are using. do you have a link to them by any chance?
They are 55inch Vizio m series gaming TV's. I don't have a link cause they upgrade them all the time. These might be obsolete
@@DaSimSimma thanks 👍
Hey thanks for the video. What type of connection do you use for the tv's? probably HDMI since TV's wont come with Display Ports. But do you have 3 HDMI out on your GPU? Bcz my 3090ti doesnt!
I use HDMI to Display port cables. The make ones that start as one plug and end as the other. You just have to make sure they are certified for 4k at 60 hertz minimum. Just like you I have a 3080 withe display and one HDMI. Not much to it. But you have to buy the right cables. I bought a few before I found the right ones .
@@DaSimSimma yea got it thnx alot. 🙏🏻
First thanks for the video, second since you have 3 55” monitors you require 5 bezel free kits to get rid of all the monitor bezels?
I wish somebody would make square screens again like a 40x40

hi sim simma, i recently just started setting up a triple setup! i have 3x 55" hisense u78km Televisions they are 4k 144hz with freesync and VRR and ALLM.

HI and Thanks for your videos, very helpful info. Just wondering if you know if you can render 5 screens in MSFS 2020. Thanks Kevin
Hi Kevin. I do have 4 screens connected . I should try it !!! ( Rebuilding my flight panel so my 4thvis disconnected . But should be up and running by next weekend . I'll let you know )
Best video! You help me. Thanks.
I'm so glad !
Which tv/monitor do you have?
Great setup! If you had thr room can you go less than 72 percent on the angles?

And I would go 65 inch but not bigger !
maybe the vertical tilt is to simulate tail dragger aircraft
great setup ! I am planning my first setup now and this was a good reference
@@DaSimSimma ahhhh I see! thanks for the info!
The vertical offset can compensate for non identical monitors/TVs placed on different levels according to the main screen 😉

It sounds to me like i need to make a video ....hmmmm
Here is the video i made on how to activate 5 screens on a pc :

@@DaSimSimma What a great video, thanks again for your input!
@@DaSimSimma thansk !
Hello, did you connect the screen with an HDMI splitter or to 3 different HDMI/USB/DP ports?
Great video. Can you do this with an XBOX Series S?
Unfortunately you cannot :( . Xbox or another console out there is not designed to run triple screen on any game ....one 9f the many reasons people end up playing on PC .....I came from a ps4....that's how I ended up bulging this crazyness
Do you have to setup the multi window each time you launch msfs 2020?
thanks bro nice video , soon ill be adding the 3rd screen , your funny screaming 3080 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks friend ! Can't wait for you to enjoy 3 screens !!!
Hi again, very nice video, i got there in the end but could have used this a month ago ;)
Thank you so much for that! Super presentation/explanation for all of us.
just one thing.... stop calling it a "game"... this is a Simulator! 🤣😂🤣😂
Hahahahaha !!! I knew I would get caught !!!

Olá Bruno muito obrigado por assistir esse canal. Mal posso esperar para ver o que você fará. Estou me divertindo tanto que sei que você também vai gostar. Falo com você em breve amigo
@The Sim SIMMA.....How did you position the 3 tv's together to where there is no plastic corner of the tv's not showing?
@@thatoks6498 I have a whole video on this and there are a couple resources across TH-cam. Just research Asus bezel-free kit on my channel or on TH-cam
@@DaSimSimma Thanx bro, I want my set up just like yours, Your awesome man! !👍👍
Great walkthrough
I do agree that 75 would be too big
. The screens would be so big they would be very far away from you and in some sense although they are bigger and you think you're more immersed you're actually feel more distance away from the game itself. It's difficult to explain but again I have 55 inch screens so maybe I shouldn't speak about 75 with such certainty
@@DaSimSimma it does make sense. I feel I m gonna go for 75
I ended up making the jump and buying a 1490k cpu, 4090 ti and 3x65 monitors with 144hz capabilities. I had traffic on... next time I ll try to turn it off
Some windows aren't parallel with the ground, hence the rotation option.
How did you manage to make the smooth transition between the screens?
@@DaSimSimma whats the link for the cables?
How do you have time for eating or sleeping with a setup like this?
When you have multiple monitors and you bring up a new aircraft, you have to reconfigure the left and right window to align with the center window. I would think that flight Simulator should be able remember each rendering window for each aircraft. Am I missing anything?
I'm certain what you described is happening but it shouldn't be. That's not how mine behaved. If I set my view in one plane , it applies to all planes. Hmmm...I'm so intrigued as to why IG is happening to you . To be clear once more...once you set up triple screen once, it should work for all planes
Thanks again. One question -- I seem to have lost the ability to use the mouse to select panel switches, mags, yoke view, etc. Any suggestions?
I'm not able to go down and test it right now but I do recall something about mouse function default behavior. Somewhere in options and settings and controls there is a setting for mouse to be used as legacy or something similar look into it and let me know if you resolve it. If not I might have to do it tomorrow. Happy new year friend!
@@DaSimSimma Thanks for the quick response - Happy New Year to you also.
what are the Monitor Models you are using right now?
55inch Vizio m series 60hertz
May I ask have you tried using DLSS frame generation on this triple screen setup? I wonder if FG only works on the center monitor
I have ! I have a few older videos where I show what it looks like. It does work on all monitors . more so, you can turn the side monitors to a lower resolution than the center one ! 4k in the center ...2k on the sides for me
1 more. which outputs on your graphics card please?
all of them ! its a triple screen so you must use all the identical outputs . depending on your card , that is all hdmi or all DP
On the other hand there are the angles that you can adjust in the simulator
The angles of your TV's in real life depend on you in the amount of space that you have.
I apologize I gave you a long response piece by piece . I'm having trouble with my TH-cam app
Thanks for the quick reply. I get it now. I didn't know the software had that level of adjustment. Thanks for the great video.
=( Tanks for answering so fast.
hello what type of tv do you use uhd lcd or oled? thx
