    I got a prescription strength retinol and have been using it at night and moisturizing every morning and night and have noticed huuuugge differences. I was noticing some fine lines/wrinkles and this new skin care routine has basically taken them away. it was hard for me to believe that a cream could cause such a big difference but it really does. it just takes about a week.

      It's very Important to wear sunscreen underneath your Foundation, actually there are many sunscreen products that are actually as good as a makeup primer for your Foundation.

    When I started using retinol I’d wake up with flakey skin. A friend recommended treating it with a lotion that contained alpha-hydroxy. It worked quite well.

    Is it safe to use the Neutrogena Retinol for your eyes on your eyelids or is it meant to only be used under your eyes?

    Thank you for your video! I mix olive oil and aloe Vera together and put it on my skin at night instead of cream. Would I be able to put cerva retinol resurfacing serum on top that and still get results? I appreciate the info mentioned! No one wants to buy a product and not use it correctly! Thank you!

    Hi doctor,
    Currently I'm on 0.05%TRETINOIN and I'm well tolerate with that strength.
    But in my country I can't buy 0.05 as they only have 0.025.
    So could you recommend me the RETINOL percentage which I can go for next, I'm asking because after using 0.05 TRETINOIN I really don't want to go for a lower strength.
    Thank in advance for your response and really appreciate you posted this vedio with a rich content regarding retinol.

      Thanks for your question. If it’s your first time, go with a lower concentration. 0.3 seems to work and work up to anywhere in between that and 1%

    I am 59 and on the fence about starting retinol. I found your video and think I will try the neutrogena one. I want to up my game but my skin is so sensitive That I havnt found a sunscreen yet that I can tolerate and it scares me about the sun protection because I love being outdoors and at the beach and all I have heard is retin makes you soooo sun sensitive.

    Dr Aspires, thanks for the nice video and advice. I am a newcomer to your program. I started using SkinMedica retinol-1% on April 5th until April 7th, I used Aquaphor as moisturizer. As I woke up on the morning of April 8th, I felt tightness and my face is peeling. I washed my face, applied Cerave Healing balm and stopped using the retinol for 2 nights. My question is, "should I wait until the purging subside or continue using it? Please help!! Many thanks for any input you have.. Peace to all... MDc

Осталось много вопросов. Как нанести эту горошину на все лицо и шею . Покажите хоть на моделе. Чем больше рассказывают , тем больше вопросов возникает…

      What type of retinol? There are 3 levels, Retin A, retinalhyde, and retinol.
      And what strength are you using? Might need to use a lower strength.
      You can also try using a light moisturizer before you apply the retinol product (then apply a heavier moisturizer)
      You might also have a compromised skin barrier that would also cause increased irritation.

    Hello, does 0.025 gives the same anti aging results as 0.05 and 0.1 ?

    • @SusanJ-jt5ny
      @SusanJ-jt5ny ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes but because it’s a lower strength it takes longer to see results. The bonus is it won’t be as irritating to your skin. Best to start retinol at a low strength and work your way up to higher strengths

  • @briannaramos6677

    Is it bad to start at 23 years old? I have fine lines under my eyes and also want to start anti-aging. I know people say to start at 25 but I’m wondering if 2 years really is all that different. I got the cerave skin renewing retinol serum.

    • @AngeeloRabaya
      @AngeeloRabaya ปีที่แล้ว +1

      At your age it's too early to start using Retinol but to help with those fine lines under your eyes you need to use an anti-aging eye cream, use regularly and you'll see improvement under your eyes and most importantly wear sunscreen. I hope this helps 🙂

    • @AngeeloRabaya
      @AngeeloRabaya ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's OK to use any anti-aging skincare products but do not use Retinol yet coz it's too advanced for your age. Most importantly wear sunscreen coz sunscreen is one of the best combos for anti-aging skincare products and believe it or not sunscreens are anti-aging too.

    I used Olay Regenerist 24 for about a year regularly at night. Never had an issue with a rash. However, I never realized I only needed a pea size. I think I would lather it on as it was lotion. I don’t know if I caused damage. Any idea? What would that damage be. I didn’t look for issues until my sun spots on cheeks retuned. It may be possible this removed my spots and something I used during the day I shouldn’t have caused them to come back. Anyhow the spots returned is when I looked this up I found out products can cause sun sensitivity and I throw them all out upset that my spots came back. Fast forward 3 years and my cheeks lost volume and I look tired. I think I hit that stage in my life. I used to look in my late 20s early 30s and now look like I’m a fit 40 year old. Not happy. Anyway I’m accidentally using retinol. SMH it is in the SeoulCeuticals Korean Skin Care Snail Mucin Repair Cream I’m using. Ok ok my question is will this help with lines around the mouth and sagging skin? Do you recommend rentinol or defferin gel?
