Ive in in Prescott Valley since 2015 and LOVE it, I think this year we have had the best monsoon since 2015! 6-8+ weeks of rain, no fires this year (well 2 smaller ones) but over all lots of rain, barely broke 100, everything is green! Hope we have a great winter this year too!

growing grass is completely normal here, this amount of rain we are getting is what we used to always get. hopefully this stays this way.
Prescott Valley summers sound like heaven compared to Vegas! I’m so sick of having to spend my entire summer inside! One thing I have noticed from looking at houses for sale in Prescott Valley, is that hardly anyone has an in ground pool. Why is that? I’ve seen some community pools. But if I build a custom home, are there any pool builders in the area?
@@livinginprescott My husband and I are Vegas natives and or son is actually a 3rd generation native, which is really rare. We still want to get out of Vegas though, it’s so much bigger than it was in the 80’s and 90’s. Prescott sounds absolutely amazing!!
Las Vegas is as hot as Phoenix, Prescott & Prescott Valley are MUCH cooler. It rarely breaks 100 degrees, summers are usually 80-90.
I would love to live there but housing is pricey so I'm looking in other towns in AZ
