Me too but I would say it’s more like just two seasons - Hell and Winter and back to Hell again (summer) but it is a dry heat so definitely bearable because practically humid free.
I am so happy for you guys! You look as happy as I did when I moved to AZ in the 90's. I lived there 18yrs. In fountain hills and north scottsdale. It was a treasure to live there and I adored Carefree. Have fun and enjoy your valley desert life.. god Bless
I lived in Southern California most of my life and my parents moved to San Diego a year after I did. They eventually retired to Tucson, but it became very difficult to visit them on holidays since I was in the hospitality industry, so I ended up buying a home in San Tan Valley, and working in Gilbert. I loved the house since it was brand new, and I had a yard and large garage to park my car, but I never got use to the heat, so when my parents passed away I moved back to San Diego back into a condo that I love since I no longer have to take care of a house and yard, and my energy costs went way down again due to the perfect weather in San Diego. Arizona was nice, but you have to be prepared for high electric bills half the year. California is the best as long as you can get past the cost of housing and you have all kinds of stuff to do along with a big ocean to air condition your house in the summer.
The cost of living in CA tho. I would never be able to afford the rent, a condo, or a home there. I love the palm trees and the diversity. I make middle class income, so, that sucks. 🥴🌟
I received an offer to relocate from Louisiana to Scottsdale with my job, but I'm terrified. I work in healthcare and have a 17-year-old son. I need to make the decision fairly quickly. I do feel a strong pull to leap. Any advice on locations and culture for my son would be much appreciated. I'm grateful for your channel and the content you provide.
Go for it and no the only time I've ever been to Arizona was a layover in Phoenix and walking across the state line from the hoover dam. Im from Arkansas living in memphis and living down south is a disaster because there's no diversity here. It will be good for your son to experience something different at a young age.
Go with your gut feeling!! I'm guessing if things don't work out here you can always move back right? The culture out here is very diverse in so areas but Scottsdale not so much. ( it's the "Beverly Hills" Phoenix) South Tempe , Chandler , Gilbert , and Ahwatukee would be a good area to check out. Have you been out here before? Thank for you for checking out our channel and supporting us!! We really appreciate you!!
Hey, than you guys so much. We are planning on coming to AZ, but we didn't see much AA talking bout life there, but, wow, you guys have helped us a lot. We are coming for a visit next week, God's willing 😊👏 and then we will decide where to get a house. Oh, you guys are great together 😊👏 bless up!!!
As someone from Michigan that moved here over 15 years ago. I know people that love it out here and some people that don't and then some people that are neutral. In my opinion, it can get lonely if you don't have friends or family out here with you. The summers are hot as hell but you do have nice winters. There are tons of jobs here especially in health care, the colleges are good most community colleges partnered with universities so you can take most of your bachelors classes there and transfer to a university to finish the remaining of credits. Now if your okay with rocking by yourself, you will be fine. or if you're just here to get your education then bounce afterwards that's fine as well. When I came in 08 things were affordable that is what made me stay longer then planned but once everyone started moving here the cost of living jump 50% after 2014 so things may seem to be high but that's every where now. Arizona can be whatever you make :)
I moved to Arizona a good while ago. I'm originally from the Midwest. But I have family in both places. And Arizona is absolutely gorgeous in the Winter. Lush green trees and grass, Christmas lights, and extremely mild weather compared to the snow filled Midwest. When I was living in Arizona I had spent the majority of my time in Tempe. Love It! Downtown Phoenix is cool for certain occasions, like when the Suns play or when the Diamondbacks play. They get it in. Transportation is something to consider in Phoenix, Arizona. Because everything is so extremely spread out. The light rail train will only go so far. And the city bus may or may not be able to get you to your destination. So, you might want to seriously think about getting some wheels of your own if you don't already have a car. Oh! And before I forget, there's a significant amount of homeless people in Phoenix. No judgement. No hate or anything. Life happens. BUT, Let's Keep It A Buck! Some things are hard to ignore and look past.
The cost of living in AZ ain't cheap anymore. I moved out here in 2004. You were able to get a nice 2 bedroom apartment for less than 600 a month and some for under 500 if you didn't mind a sketchy neighborhood. Now, two bedrooms are going for 1200-1500 for crap and they now require you to make 3 times the rent.
@@genew5758 I totally agree with you! It was so much affordable back then but once everyone started moving there it went up! That was one of the main reasons I chose to move out of Arizona.
Agree with the job opportunities in Arizona. My husband is currently in pheonix for a job doing 7 days 10 hour that's also paying per $700/ wk per diem for travelers.
I am currently in Kansas City buried under 6 inches of snow and super miserable. I have SAD or S.A.D which is Seasonal Affective Disorder or seasonal depression. I am literally the happiest most positive person I know, but come winter that all changes. It was suggested by my doctor that I move to Arizona or somewhere where there isn't a 7 or 8 month long winter. With Arizona being one of the places my job will transfer me to, I decided to consider it. When y'all started talking about the weather, I melted! lol 2 seasons!? Spring and Summer! I'm in! That's all I needed to hear! It seems sooo beautiful there. I loved your video and you guys are a beautiful couple... SUBSCRIBED!
Thank you so much! We appreciate you being here. Welcome to the crew! Yes, SAD is so tough to deal with every year. I completely empathize with you. Not having to deal with it anymore what’s completely changed my life. Do you think you’ll move here?
Excellent video!! I'm currently online and in Pittsburgh finishing my bachelor degree at ASU. Hopefully this summer I will make the move to on campus housing! I have some friends and family out there but I'm more excited to leave Pittsburgh!!!! No more winter, no more smelly steel mills, and no more yinzers!! Plus California isn't too far away, gotta go there and check out SoCal! Peace & Blessings!

I have many black friends that moved out of AZ and thought it wasn't a good state for blacks to thrive, but this was almost 20 years ago. I think, from what I have seen, the African American population has grown a lot within the past years, so it may be a good place now.
My husband and I and our 3 kids are currently from and living in the O.C. California but dang the prices to buy a home comfortable enough for us to live in are sky high so we’re looking into AZ and NV. So glad I found your video to just get to know a little more about AZ.
Raye 'n' Jay you two are awesome. In Colorado right now but planning to move to the Phoenix area in a few years. Been looking at the Gilbert area. Owned a home in Scottsdale for a few because back then it was actually cheaper to just buy a home for my college son then to rent or live in the dorms. We paid $147,000 for a 3 bdrm/2bath back in about 2008. The housing issues are worse here, but starting to get out of hand in Arizona. Arizona is our place to get away from the snow. We have a son and two grandchildren in Arizona.
Ohh nice!! Yes, it’s crazy how the cost of living/real estate has sky rocketed. I did hear that the Denver area was pretty bad too. Is it worse? What part of AZ is your son and 2 grandkids in?
This is my first time seeing your guys’ videos because i’m thinking about moving to AZ. I’m from IN too! You guys are enjoyable to watch. Definitely will tune in more
love your channel. felt in love with Arizona. the pro's out weight the cons for me. if I would have listen to the negative I wouldn't have know such a wonderful state that have something to offer for any person. you just have to be explorer like you two lovely couple.
Yes, we always take what people have to say with a grain of salt. Some people over exaggerate some under. We are all about “gotta see for ourselves”. We keep finding things we love about this state. Pros definitely out weighs three cons!!
In August 2016, I moved out to Phoenix until April 2019, when I returned back to Orlando, Fl. I must admit that Phoenix was simply okay only because it pales in comparison to the City Beautiful. I did enjoy Sedona, Arizona, for which I will be visiting often. I enjoyed your video. Keep up the excellent work.
Omg here I am in Indiana trying to find some TH-camrs who moved to AZ and something told me click this video compared to all the other couples ❤thank you
@@Rayenjay yes yall answered most my questions. I just haven’t heard anyone talk about the schools and with black kids that’s the only thing I’m missing to be able to make my decision
9:40 at the time of this video, I’d say 280k - 350k for a nice home in a nice (growing) area. Not Scottsdale, Arcadia, or Ahwatukee Foothills Village. But like Gilbert, San Tan, Maricopa or Casa Grande, gentrified South Phoenix, or Anthem (which by the way Intel is building a new plant there and will need new talent). However, prices have skyrocketed. Homes in my Maricopa community are now going for upwards 400k. Still pretty affordable compared to some states.
I've visted Arizona twice already and I love it. I am looking forward to move there in the next few years. It's a breath of fresh air compared to Philly.

Wait for it. Every once in a great while it snows in Carefree AZ and sticks for a few hours. Besides Lake Pleasant, there's Bartlett Lake, Horseshoe Lake, Canyon Lake, Apache Lake and Lake Roosevelt. For a nice drive in the summer if you have a truck, head up to Crown King, nice little drive up to a very small community in the pines, just outside of Phoenix.
Arizona is alright...😏 The Phoenix area is spread out. Tempe is mad nice, basically a college town. I love it. Chandler is OK. Lichfield Park and Avondale, alright... And another area is Laveen, it's cool. The weather is something to think about. Winter in Phoenix is absolutely beautiful!...PERIOD. Spring and Autumn are very short lived, so much so that you only experience a couple of days. And Summer...OH BOY! I pray that you have an AC. Because Summer Ain't No Joke. It's nothing to play with. But the good thing is that you can still do your thing as far as transportation is concerned. No snow, no severe storms, no nothing... just sunshine and hot weather.
Yea Phoenix for sure spread out. Chandler, Litchfield Park I would say it's a good area when you wanna start a family but yea Tempe , Scottsdale and downtown Phoenix is where it's at for us. You can catch us at one of those places every weekend. We are coming into the cooler months now ( Thank God!!) Oct-April has always been good to us but yea May-September is brutal!! Yea We do not wanna see snow for a while unless we are just in it for a few days. We could never live in it again!! Do you stay in the valley?
@@brendankem6944 Laveen is pretty cool. A little bit of Black History in that particular area. It's located South West of the city. It's kinda laid back. However, my favorite suburban city is Tempe. It's basically the best place in my opinion. Chandler is a pretty cool area too. Both of these suburbs are located East of the city. But then of course, you're going to hear about Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and the Biltmore area. That's where the well-to-do people live. But Avondale and Lichfield Park both located West of the city. A few Black people out that way. I wish you much success and happiness. And Oh Yeah, Keep ya head, Love.

We haven’t seen any scorpions since we been here but Jaye has years ago. We don’t hear about them much and don’t see them at all but unfortunately they are around. From what I hear they are really tiny.
Gratitude you guys for this video. Most relatable in my opinion in terms of wanting to relocate to AZ. We're coming from Miami, FL soooooo cost of living is going to be about the same or a lot less lol. The humidity is on 100 yr round here. So dry heat, no humidity may be a little different but we'll cross certain bridges when we get there.
My daughter, her fiancee and myself moved here two weeks ago. Love love love it here and excited to get settled. It was tough securing a job before coming because a lot of companies want you here. So my search is on but in the meantime we're exploring neighborhoods. Rarely see other blacks so it's a very different experience. The have some familiar restaurants for people coming from Chicago such as Harold's Chicken, portillo's and White Castle.
White Castle just got here not too long ago and last I checked the lines are super looong. We've met alot of people coming here from chicago. There are a few pizza and gyro places here that are owned by people from Chicago. How are you dealing with this heat wave?!
One thing we've we noticed out here is that black people are spread out and sprinkled in every part of the valley but we have seen more near the Laveen area.
@@Rayenjay The heat is not bad at all especially with the occasional wind, my daughter was in hot & humid Mississippi finishing school and she is happy that she here. What are you guys opinion of Litchfield, Buckeye & Laveen as far as living there? I wanted to visit those areas to see how they are.
@@Rayenjay For the most part Phoenix has never had predominate of one color neighborhoods... We are a mixture of all races and colors.... In the last 30 years, I have notice some neighborhoods trying to be predominate Hispanic, and in the last 10 years, like you said Laveen is getting more blacks, but it is, mostly still Hispanic ... Phoenix is just a mixture of all races, and different shades of the same color, from all over the world, all living together, and loving it... Everyone has something to bring to the table..... One big family... Welcome to Arizona!
Can someone give me information on Tempe? I literally know nothing about Arizona. My daughter moves there next month and I'm afraid. Is it diverse like Phoenix? We are from Alabama.
Yes Tempe is very diverse!! It is a college town and we find ourselves there a lot. (We have friends that live there) of course it has it pockets within the city that’s sketchy just like any other place but we have zero problems. What part in Tempe are you moving to?
I moved here from NY. Cost of living was lower when I moved in 2019. Now it’s crazy lol. I agree with all your pro’s . Arizona is definitely the real sunshine state. The traffic has increased where I am doubled from what it was in 2019. There are two seasons cool and hot . If you go north of Phoenix, there’s 4 seasons. It’s just the valley. I don’t miss the beach, I have a heated pool 10 yards from my front door😃 you forgot if you love golf you found paradise here.
im thinking about moving there to start new life and a better one with how bad things have been for me so far… but im in a big dilemma of not knowing which city in arizona i should specifically look into or really have any sort of narrowed down list so im trying to figure that out on my own… i got a cousin that lives in safford but im pretty sure one of my other family members didnt have the best reaction to that town… all in all im not sure. phoenix, tuscon, mesa? i have no idea which would be best for me and i really wanna make the right decision. i wanna be able to do things and make friends but also live in a good peaceful environment. but not in the middle of nowhere at the same time. only time i visited was to go to sonora mexico but i stayed a day somewhere in arizon not too far away from the airport but i have no idea what that town was called.
Hey babe! If you still want to go out and be active you can’t go wrong with chandler, Tempe, phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, Avondale… they are all in the valley. Just depends on your budget and proximity to the center of the valley.
You honestly probably wouldn't like Safford. Nothing to do there. The two biggest cities are Phoenix and Tucson. Tucson is much smaller with a smaller cost of living. You gotta choose what's best for you and not what others tell you. Just know, houses are expensive and so is the rent.
I'll never forget walking down West Phoenix avenues or downtown, midtown & Mesa in the blazing hot sun toting a suitcase on wheels, brand new to the city, not knowing where to go for ish but figuring it out. Google Maps was my best friend
Indiana native here and my family has been talking about moving to Mesa in the future to be with more family and enjoy the nice weather. Been debating if I want to join them or not if they choose to permanently live there or just buy a place to stay at during the winter. Cost of living gets me the most.. Been there a few years back and loved it ❤️ Thanks for making this video!
Love you guys and your positivity! I grew up in STL, and went to grad school at IU so I have an Indiana connection! I lived in Boston for 19 years before moving to Tucson in Sept 2019 - 6 mo before the pandemic. I’m sort of getting used to the hot summers, but have loved the weather the rest of the year. I’ve been frustrated with how expensive housing has become since I moved, yet my salary has barely moved. AZ is one of the worst in the country for teacher pay and the amount of spending per student. The recent budget that was passed offers some relief for schools, but if you are moving here with kids, do your research. There are some very good schools from what I’ve heard but with the horrible rankings, I’m skeptical. Part of the problem is the republican legislators don’t grasp the concept that education is a healthy investment for a state. They’re all sending their kids to private schools so they don’t give a crap. It’s great all these companies are moving here, but they’re going to have to hire from out of state for the top jobs if they don’t offer a quality education.
Love it! Yes, the job market is hot out here, and also pretty competitive. One thing we noticed that is different from the Midwest and East Coast, is that the hiring practices are SLOOOW here lol. Much slower than we thought. They definitely take their time. So something to consider when applying. Make sure your resume is tight and gets to the point as well. What industry are you looking in?
I'm from California I drive on cruise control 🤣 enjoyed your video now maybe I'll be visiting for a weekend, California rent has gone to Orbit!! So High ✌️
I moved to Seattle from Louisiana 1 year and 5 months ago. It’s def not been the best, but I’m adjusting. The money pays well, especially me being a black male in Social Work. I’m strongly considering Phoenix, the heat will be the least issue I would actually enjoy that. I need some entertainment, brunch spots, socializing etc. Thanks for the video
Arizona is dry and can get cold in the winter especially at night.Florida is sunny all year round and one can be outside all year round, but it is humid.
We moved to Goodyear in 2004 from chgo Illinois then went further west to buckeye in 2011 so just about 18 years , we absolutely love it out here it's been building up since , you mentioned no lake but there is a place called hidden lake in buckeye they made it about 4 or 5 years ago a fun spot fishing, swimming ,n camping thought I'd mention it. And houses have gone up bought a new house had it built 2019 $222. And it's now $470 I'm sure this market will not stay this way . Love your video
Thank you for sharing! I'm a Californian looking to move out of state (originally from San Diego but have been in the bay area for the past 9 years) and am looking at different options, so this was very helpful. My main concerns were the dry heat (because I'm prone to nosebleeds when it's dry) and I was curious if the people were cool.
I'm getting really close to moving to Arizona, but down in Sierra Vista, which is closer to Tucson than Phoenix. I visited there and it is beautiful. I live in the Chicago area now and I know I'll miss the culture and diversity, but I'm ready for a change and AZ is not bad at all.
It’s not bad, and it’s growing in diversity for sure. It’s totally different from Chicago but change is great! Congrats in advance for a successful transition!
Raye 'n' Jay - love, love your content! Question: have you found a home church in AZ? Also, can you share your recommendations/experience on making (adult) friends as a POC/meeting POC when new to the AZ area?
4:39 Interesting you say that. I’m black and have degree (live in Cali). Out here it takes 6months to 1 year to head back from County or City jobs. Recently, I applied for jobs in AZ, this was over the weekend. That Monday I started getting calls and emails. I just started applying 3 weeks ago, and have already been offered a job with the State of AZ, making some decent coins. Lol

Scottsdale is supposed to be very nice so probably good schools. Good luck
Did you move I just got a job offer I'm taking it leave out May 23 I'm excited
Go for it Phoenix is awesome
I appreciate this video. We are moving to Lake havasu/kingman in 3 months. I needed to see more people that look like me commenting on Arizona.
The hardest thing is finding a job before you move ! I hope to be there in a couple of months 💗
It definitely is. Hopefully it should be easier since all these companies are hiring massively because of COVID. Good luck!! 🤞🏾
put your resume on monster & careerbuilder...works every time
Hey, than you guys so much.
Which areas in Phoenix would you recommend for a young black couple?
Thank you its always a different experience for us, yall got me thinking. Beautiful couple.
Thanks so much!! Glad you enjoyed it!!
I looove this video haha, I’m not even moving to AZ but I’m just doing research on different US cities looking for all the black folks to see what their opinions are on them and what their experience is like. It’s for a a school report . You guys seem very easy going and intelligent, Nice guys ✊🏾🖤

Yooo! Thank you, Keith! Hope your school report got great reviews! Thanks for being here!
What’s good GA?!
Definitely will tune in more
Awesome! Thank you! Have you been here to visit before?
@@Rayenjay Not yet!! Hoping to plan a trip soon!!!

love your channel. felt in love with Arizona. the pro's out weight the cons for me. if I would have listen to the negative I wouldn't have know such a wonderful state that have something to offer for any person. you just have to be explorer like you two lovely couple.
Yes, we always take what people have to say with a grain of salt. Some people over exaggerate some under. We are all about “gotta see for ourselves”. We keep finding things we love about this state. Pros definitely out weighs three cons!!
Thanks for the great video! I'm considering moving to Phoenix from Wisconsin,
I can't do this cold anymore!
Me either! You won’t regret moving. But just know it’ll be an adjustment. So worth it!!
City Beautiful? What's that?
*We were there around the same time, I was in Phx frm 2017-2020, & moved back home

Omg here I am in Indiana trying to find some TH-camrs who moved to AZ and something told me click this video compared to all the other couples ❤thank you
Thank you so much for checking us out! Hopefully we provided some good insight for you!
I know that is going to be a huge change! We wish you the best on your move!
I'm been in Arizona all my life and absolutely love it here❤ welcome
This is my sign. I don’t know how this video popped up on my page lol I have been talking about moving to Az for a 6 months now! And I’m in Indiana but originally from Minneapolis. The fact I seen this tells me, that me my family will be good! Thank you guys just subscribed!

Love seeing all us black folks moving to pheonix. Cause 10 years ago it wasnt may of us there
Well....too bad, I’m white, but I’m kind and care about everyone...especially children an non humans. I don’t like it hot and humid. I’m old..will be 74 yrs old soon. Jersey is expensive. I don’t need a big place, but need to bring my two cats and my tiny older doggie.
Maybe my daughter. And I don’t care what color anyone is. I ‘m kind to everyone and care about every human every non human...except a few ignorant, hateful, delusional jerks who are nasty bullies. Thx for the info.👍💖. Zoe is sooooo very cute and sweet.🥰
@@sandella11 Why would u care where u live when your're white. Blacks don't always have the privelage to live anywhere they want in peace and comfortably. Im not racist but i live in the real world
@@sheenahammond1442 Well, since you brought it up.....because maybe I happen to like black folks. Do you find that strange? Believe, me I’m not privileged. Never been. I’m 74 yrs old..live alone..with 2 cats right now...and Jersey is expensive. Single parent...worked long time and hard, plus helped raise all 5 of my grandkids. I’ve been around black folks since I was a little child. My grandfather’s best friend was black, Mr. Washington. They were always hanging out. Not everything has to be about ‘color’. Kindness and love don’t care about color. Just sayin...
@@sandella11 Same with me however it doesn't change racism does exist. I don't wanna live in a all white community and i don't wanna live in an all black community either. All my life I've lived around all kinds of cultures. My classmates and even white friends say there's not many brown skin there so i wanna be where we are at
Wait for it.
Arizona is alright...😏
The Phoenix area is spread out.
Actually moving to laveen this summer coming from Maryland 😢 hoping I would like this change
Hopefully I will move to Arizona in 2022, I am tired of Oregon and rain
Did u end up moving there?
I went to Phoenix 4 months ago and fell in love with it. Coming from Tampa, I love being near the water, so Lake Pleasant was great! I loved it!
@E-ticket Arizona for me! My spirit is more at peace in Arizona. Both states have a lot to offer though. 😉
Ohmigosh, I was looking at Indiana! Brownsburg, specifically.
If I was interested in Phoenix, you would be my main resource. Not sure why this showed up on my YT feed, but I was intrigued enough by your happy demeanor to watch your highly informative presentation.
Btw, your dog is ADORABLE. Soooooo alert and obviously very loved. 👍👌👍❤
We have friends and family in Brownsburg. Very nice quiet city but from what we hear, it’s growing pretty quickly. The built a costco there with the last year! Zoë is our protector!!
@@Rayenjay - I just watched your video going back to Indiana for a visit, and the sweet little dog they have is darling. Maltese, right? Such adorable faces.
Visited Tampa in July of 2022. God dayum that heat + humidity tore me all the way up!!
I came alive once that sun went down tho. 😂😂
Lots of people from chi here and I may be in the wrong areas for more blacks in the demographic.
I just came across your channel and love it, we are moving back to Arizona hopefully by the beginning of 2022.

Definitely my future destination
What are some good areas to live in?
There's a few. Are you looking to move to the valley?
I'll never forget walking down West Phoenix avenues or downtown, midtown & Mesa in the blazing hot sun toting a suitcase on wheels, brand new to the city, not knowing where to go for ish but figuring it out. Google Maps was my best friend
My husband and I are moving there. We’re in Maryland currently.
Bro I love y'all. Im actually in the season of playing for keeps and looking for a new fresh start and be great. Please help me with job 😌
Me too! I’m planning on moving to Tempe but The cost of living is high and finding a good job to support me is also important
Yes. The cost of living in AZ is now quite costly. I don't care what anyone says. They want almost 300k for a crappy house in a not so good area.
Thanks for sharing. What a beautiful couple you two are. I plan to visit Mesa AZ in April. Any nice R&B spots or soul food places you can recommend?
Thank you! Honestly there arent too many good places but Nanas Kitchen is pretty good and Charlie Mae’s Southern Bistro is pretty good.

I agree with her, for a 3bdr home in a nice area in Arizona is at LEAST $500k...it's like $300k-$400 in Texas for comparison.
Hey Great video! would you consider creepy crawly a con? Snakes, spiders, wolves, etc.?
Yes and no. Depends on the situation. If they are in the house, that’s definitely a con!!

Just subbed! You guys are a great couple! See you guys soon! Thank you! My dream spot now is anywhere but Cali!
Thank you so much! So glad you enjoy or videos! Yes.... we love it here! Assuming you live in Cali right now?

4:39 Interesting you say that. I’m black and have degree (live in Cali). Out here it takes 6months to 1 year to head back from County or City jobs.
Recently, I applied for jobs in AZ, this was over the weekend. That Monday I started getting calls and emails. I just started applying 3 weeks ago, and have already been offered a job with the State of AZ, making some decent coins. Lol
Congrats yall! Soon my partner and I will be on the same wave! Moving to north Tucson area in a month🖤✌
Yes. The northern sections of tucson are pretty decent areas to live. Oro Valley, Marana and Vail are great places to live.
That little dog is so cute.
