My mom is a Mexican immigrant, she came here at age 18 for a better life and a better life for her future kids. She met my dad who promised to take care but instead he sold drugs, broke the law, and harm my mom. Well he went to prison then he was deported so it was just my mom and my brother now. If it wasn't for section 8, we would have lived in the street. If it wasn't for food stamps, we wouldn't have much to eat and one time I had sepsis and my free Medicare saves my life. Now my brother is finishing his college career, he's going to be a police officer soon and I'm studying to be a teacher.
In reality, the US government helped my family so much, my brother and I will not suffer like my mom did because the government helped her bring up good kids.
Yes. We don't plan to have these things happen to us. I ended up homeless after fleeing abuse multiple times including when my kids were very young and the benefits saved us as well. I was treated poorly by case managers but we had a roof over our heads.

Just because it didn’t happen to them , they can’t wrap their minds around it & sit back & judge. They’re also the type that when something bad does happen to them, they want everyone’s understanding & compassion yet they have none for anyone else except their own “crowd” of snotbags.

Got to do your homework. Moved here 6 months ago Took us 4 months of staying in extended stay Went thru 15 thousand. Management companies turned us down private owners very picky or we others beat us to properties.Housing market is stuff.Good luck tho

Crazy how much I needed to hear about this place. My current rental is in foreclosure and I was on month to month because the landlord didn't renew it. So I am looking for something affordable. I used to live in Phoenix on 6th Ave and Roosevelt. It is an income based apartment complex with very nice layouts. I used to pay $700 a month for a 2bed 2 bath apartment and I heard they are still priced the same. The complex is called Roosevelt Commons. You should try and film there.

Sometimes I’m like man I’d like a bigger home, more storage space, a bigger backyard but I have it good! 3 bed, 2 bath, 2 car carport, backyard, open desert behind us, community pool, quiet area, 1270 square feet. 640 is our mortgage and we own our home. I will be more grateful!! We are blessed!!

Low income people moving in complaining their king size beds wont fit.. wowsers. I feel like some people living in these situations dont aim for better and use the housing as a stepping stone as it should be used. These people choose to make a life long living arrangement. This sucks for people in need now but are put on those 4 year waiting lists
4 yr ? Az hasnt even opened a section 8 list since 2017 .. And that was for PHX...then they have a lottery system...and if you do get picked...they told me its up to a 10 yr wait ....

This section of Arizona is definitely not the upscale rich section but I could say this is where the rent is definaly affordable but not bad where as other the section that's not based on your income but these apartments are really nice but it's just me so I couldn't rent here they don't do studio or one bedroom
I appreciate your videos so much because in my opinion I like how you actually ask the people about why they don’t have their kids. You don’t blame them but you are holding them somewhat accountable for the reason they are in the predicament they put themselves in. No judgement for anyone, but there are certain characteristics of people who don’t have custody of their kids vs. those who don’t talk about the past- they move on and think of the future.

I used to live off of 48th and warner in Ahwatukee in a 2 bed /2 bath 1000 sq ft apt and was paying $630 month of course this was years ago but that was a real nice area of Phoenix...they use to call it the new Scottsdale

This section of Arizona is definitely not the upscale rich section but I could say this is where the rent is definaly affordable but not bad where as other the section that's not based on your income but these apartments are really nice but it's just me so I couldn't rent here they don't do studio or one bedroom
I pay $1600+ in rent and she has more cabinets than me 😭😭😭.. lord
Do a low rent video that isn't for people on assistance. They struggle even more because they pay full price.

I appreciate your videos so much because in my opinion I like how you actually ask the people about why they don’t have their kids. You don’t blame them but you are holding them somewhat accountable for the reason they are in the predicament they put themselves in. No judgement for anyone, but there are certain characteristics of people who don’t have custody of their kids vs. those who don’t talk about the past- they move on and think of the future.
I us to live there also. When it got renovated I was the first one in the apt.. the rent was little more then 6 hundred back 2014.

I used to live off of 48th and warner in Ahwatukee in a 2 bed /2 bath 1000 sq ft apt and was paying $630 month of course this was years ago but that was a real nice area of Phoenix...they use to call it the new Scottsdale
